Because the flag you mean was not the national one, only military one.
Good point. If it's possible I'll do it.
yeah
The actual size depends on the scaling method.
But why? Since 13th of March update this is the flag of "fascist"/(Austrofascist) Austria. It's historically accurate:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:State_flag_of_Austria_(1934%E2%80%931938).svg
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:State_flag_of_Austria_(1934%E2%80%931938).svg
But you can make RT56 version yourself.
All the assets from this mod are free to use.
Because Road to 56 uses it's own set of flags. This mod is for vanilla HoI4 only.
No. The flag itself didn't exist until the 1950s. I had another idea.
May we discuss it in DMs, please?
This flag is only used as an alternative flag for the Communist China if they ever change ideology (ex. via puppeting). Flag of Kuomintang aka Nationalist China stays the same for fascist, democratic and neutrality ideologies.
Sorry.
Thanks.
I updated the mod.
this is the flag of the Prussian province of Rheinland from WW2 era which was green and white (it's almost identical to the flag of Siberia):
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Flagge_Preu%C3%9Fen_-_Rheinland.svg
I also was inspired with this one, but it's identical in it's color scheme to Hungarian flag:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Flag_of_North_Rhine-Westphalia.svg
The color scheme I chose instead was based on the greater coat of arms of Rheinland with black for the Prussian eagle included in the flag:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Coat_of_Arms_of_the_Rheinland.svg
If you propose something more plausible for the flag of independent Rheinland I'll change it.
I will continue to update my mods in March to make them compatible with the newest DLC.
CoA was removed from Peru flag in 1950. During WW2 it was used. The flag is historically correct as is.
@JustAStopsign
No idea how's that even possible... the mod is and always was ironman compatible. I didn't add anything that could've broken previous saves.
which would be historically accurate?
Because it was not a flag of Japan - only it's navy/military.

After testing them out and using them, I can not go back to the vanilla way of things. Mods like this make it more immersive to play the game and makes the war impactful, the way it was back then. That intensity should be felt in HOI4, to get the total affect.
Thanks again.
"The Black Front... fights therefore with relentless severity against the fronts of The System, regardless of whether it is the black-white-red flag of Conservative Reaction or the black-red-gold flag of Liberal Reaction which flutters above them... end on the day the system is overthrown, and then the
struggle between Black and Red
will determine the future shape of Germany."
They are describing the flag colors of the conservative monarchists (Black, white, red) and the liberal social democrats (Black, red, gold). They then go on to say that it is the black front with the colors of red and black that will defeat both. So based on that, the background of the flag should be black and the sword and hammer having a simplified design and being the color red. From what I can tell, the addition of white borders and the more detailed hammer and sword are additions made by modern Strasserists/National Bolsheviks.
What was the color of the sword and a hammer? White or red or something else?
