For those complaining about flight speeds, the mod is meant to be played with no highways, the speed feels just right for that and getting rid of the ridiculous highways makes the game feel much closer to X3

Agree about the flight speeds. I like the universe to feel huge.

Flight speed is too fast for travel, just make it normal. There's no need to change it for a combat overhaul mod.

Make a travel speed mod that's a separate mod if you can't stand how long it takes to travel.

Makes the game feel tiny if you can zip across the universe in 2 seconds.

Cannot Buy any Blueprints for Shields... maybe a Problem with the internal shields... when try to buy a blueprint, the buy-tab freezes...

I just found out this particular mod is causing the issue with Hydra - corvette so when I go to Muse the ship with the mod it doesn't show the actual weapons at the front bottom turret gun for the ship it doesn't show The BOR weap but it's only happens the front bottom of the ship turret the other ones are fine but when I take the mod off then it shows but then when I put the mod back on then it doesn't show and I know it's this particular mod causing it but I don't know if that's supposed to happen or not because I don't think it's supposed to do that -_-

@Souvlaki , It moves at a speed of 4500, regardless of the mode , meaning that it moves at the same slow speed in both stealth and normal modes.

I can't buy blueprints for shield generators.
I've gone through all the factions, and when I try to expand the tab with shield generators, nothing happens, and the tab doesn't expand.
I'm not using any other mods that affect ships or modules.

Is it normal that the "Envoy" has a maximm cruise speed of 4500? Is this the intended setting?

Patch 4.40:

- Updated to 8.0 patch and Envoy DLC (it is not required)
- Retracted some 8.0 changes to tags, Boron weapons and engines will remain Boron-only, but they can use some other shields
- Increased all M engines travel thrust by 20%
- Fixed few bugs and debug spam

You can continue old saves without issues.

(ship modder here) @Ignobler what you described has nothing to do with VRO. You have a mod that adds either a ship or surface component with broken jolt hulls (collision mesh). Any borked surface component will break collisions on the entire ship. VRO's collisions are solid, especially that it does not add any custom turret models (and the couple ships it adds are A-OK, tested personally).

Just a heads up, either by itself or in conjunction with other mods, this glitches out some ship interiors and a short distance from their exterior when docked so that all input fails. WASD does nothing and you can't even look around with mouse. Its unfixable via troubleshooting. Did it to me in a unique ship and basically ruined the entire game.

Man i have to say. I tried 8.0 and had fun with it and with the Envoy ship untill i bought L class ships to destroy annoyng Kaak installations and hives. The guns and combat are so underwhelming compared to VRO... Now i play with less enthusiasm because i know i'll scrap that playthrough as soon as VRO is updated. Whan i mean to say is: thank you for making a good game absolutely great!

Timelines is not that bad, if you're interested in X history, it's really nice. I liked to re-live events from older X games. Or events that previously were just mentioned in the lore, but never shown. It also has an interesting story in itself. And you get several new sectors and a few new special ships.

Of course if you are mostly into empire building (playing X4 as a 4X), it may not interest you.

@ChaosSeed I bought timelines basically to support the devs but havnt even played it. I dont really notice the difference with the game having timelines dlc to be honest.

why does this mod require the worst DLC for a game ever to be made for me to use it? I will just stick to vanilla. There needs to be a non-timelines version of the mod. I refunded that DLC it was so bad.
