They do work after you fixed their definition. I already wrote how to make the refrigerated trailers working again, when you have no cargo for them on the freight market

Yes it is allowed to use it, but only if you have the skill to do so. That means that you can still get banned if you use this mod to block the roads or fail to drive safely. Read the rules on truckersmp.com/rules or read this extract:
§3 - Save Editing
Causing extreme lag or game crashes by save editing. If you save edit to create a very long trailer combination but cannot safely handle it, you are liable to be banned for reckless driving and/or blocking and it is recommended that you remove the particular modification(s). Having clipping or floating trailers and/or missing essential components (wheels, lights, etc.) is not allowed. If the Game Moderation Management thinks that your modification is not fit for our servers or negatively impacts other people, you are liable to be banned.

Does this still work and compatible without getting bans on TruckersMP?

As I already mentioned earlier, you can fix the reefers by replacing their trailer definition with the trailer definition of generic single reefer trailers in the savegame. Then the game will offer you cargos for them.

Reefers do not work unfortunately, but other than that the mod is solid. Any recommendations on how to fix that?

But you can increase the cargo volume by simply changing the trailer definition in the save game. Some of them have the size of a HCT so I think it is realistic when I change the capacity to the capacity of a HCT.

No, I can actually transport cargo with my triples with cargo models visible.

A friend of mine has the same issue but not just with this mod. He can't select any trailer that is listed as a double or HCT. Even non modded trailers do not work for him anymore. It's not an issue caused by the mod and you could avoid the error by changing the trailer definition in the savegame to the definition of a single trailer.

It broke my ETS2. I cannot play the game without this mod enabled and I cannot select the games default HCT

That's weird, because mine are still working as they should in TruckersMP as well as in singleplayer. What is the displayed trailer definition in the trailer manager?

Not with in game job or Job Dispatcher from TMP
