Pretty awesome QoL mod! Big W
For example, I have my second game save file loaded, I set my colors in the mod, then switch to my third game save file. Close the game and re-open, it opens my third game save file by default, and the colors I set in the mod are set to default.
If I switch profile back to the second game save file, close the game, open, it loads that file again by default along with the correct colors that I set in the mod settings.
Please fix it where the mod settings aren't tied to profile, it's very confusing.
Also, again a minor nitpick, but an option to change all of the icons to be "default" colored (as in how they look unmodded) would be nice, since I just want to lightly tint them personally. (unless you just happen to know the color off the top of your head, which is also fine :P)
Same way you change the settings of other mods, you click on the mods button in the main menu and then click colored map and then click config, and then you can change them. Of course BaseMod is required.
Black is made from RGB values of 0,0,0 so that is what you get with going all zeroes.
I tried to change the RGB to 0,0,0 and change the alpha of the outline to 0, but it still didn't work, everything was black
I can't get the mod to work for some reason.. my brother downloaded the game and did everything the same as me.. I even looked at his mod page and copied the order, still nothing ): any ideas?
You can easily change them to the default color by changing the RGB to 0,0,0 and changing the alpha of the outline to 0.
Would be more useful for me if the default was uncolored and you could edit whatever colors you wanted in from there. I only wanted it to color the elites but trying to get the rest to match up was too tedious and resulted in a messy looking map
I ended up going with a very minimal and muted color scheme so I could quickly evaluate the key nodes in a path. I set all the outline alphas to 0, the RGB of basic enemies, chests, and question rooms to 60/60/60, bosses to 80/40/0, campfires to 40/80/0, and merchants to 0/60/80

The config panel already changes the color of the symbol in the panel while you are editing it, so you should have continual visual feedback.
Though my mod should have defaults that change the look of the map.

Well done!
