That being said I will re-record in the HD in the higher quality either way
Walls are easily abusable for the AI, let me explain;
AI attacks works like attack from destination A to B and as long as there is an clear way to the B destination, they wont attack any blockades along the way.
That means if you build walls around your base and leave one hole on purpose, you know the AI will attack only from that direction.
So even walls without gates around your base in this Scenario would be cool, you would know the exact location(s) from which side enemy would attack.
Fair comments. My line of thinking was more just defensive walls - not gates for the main town. Even Palisades would be cool.
In light of that though, I think the blacksmith town to the west needs a bit of an overhaul. Units seem to struggle to move around the static characters (Goats, peasants, etc) there. Maybe move them further off beside a building rather than in the town square?
@PoorlyDrawnDuck: That is a good idea. I did not include a time limit in the scenario, because I wanted everything to be kinda relaxed and not to difficult.
@ecl-inc: Thank you for your nice feedback.
@SadowSon: I´m glad you had a good time with the scenario. To be honest, making walls/buildings appear with triggers is a a lot of work and as Chen`la pointed out, it would make things a bit too easy. Try the cordoba approach, if you want to see even more of the map!
I recommend trying the Cordoba approach too, it is entirely different gameplay.
It would have been nice if the players city/castle could have been fleshed out more! I would have liked to see walls around the town, some more houses and a proper gate for the castle. I'm fairly certain I managed to unlock every flag in the map.
One critique would be to force the player to send their princess to one of the kings within a time period. Maybe limit the amount of sheep being sent because eventually you end up with a ton of resources that you can't really use.
st.eam- glad you enjoyed switching sides- I was thinking about an option like you suggested, but in the end I skipped the idea, because I did not want the scenario to be tooo long.

* noble_lancer: To mark a faction as defeated and prevent them from receiving their special unit for free, their castles must be destroyed. The faction then continues to fight with its modest resources. Will be explained a little better in the next update.
* superlisko: the cavalry you get for free from castile has improved stats- like all the unique units you get from various factions. Like Leon has improved infantry and Portugal has superior crossbows.
* Igorhp: A spanish translation would be amazing! For the voices I used a website called from text to speech. I edited the files with audacity.
If I HAD to say a complaint it would be that it just seems soo short, but as always really thanks and merry christimas¡
