@.dL Astronaut, Linux version is a bit naughty. The file system is case-sensitive, and for some reason the DayZ code itself expects all paths to be lower-case. Try to rename all folders and files within the mod folders to be lower-case

Cannot load this mod, or even community framework using linux dedicated server, nothing happends after launch, no folders are created etc.

Am I missing something? Do I need to edit the server.cfg file?

possibly by accident. How do you unbind the key? I mean it makes perfect sense. Its a really great mod. I love it so far.

Maybe you binded that to the "o" key?

For some reason when I press o to open the admin menu it sets my blood to zero. So I changed it to I to open the menu. if I still press o it sets my blood to zero though.

When i try adding this to my server i get a Missing PBO message for every single Mod on my server and as soon as i remove it its fine again, its the same with every other Admin Tools mod i can find,

ladiesman217, server side .pbo files are the same as client side .pbo files, and that is true for ZomBerry, VPP and COT (and any other mod for that matter).
Could you elaborate? Are you using some tool that requires additional preparation from mod creators? Or could it be that you cut the files instead of copying those during mod installation, like it usually happens?

Besides, if you actually had any problems with .pbo files, DayZ wouldn't even allow you to load in, unless you turn off signature checks - which makes your server vulnerable to cheaters. I can also assume that you meant server config files, but those are conveniently generated during the first start up. Why? Because people kept putting those files all over the place, but not in the profiles folder, and then wondered "why doesn't the menu open up?". Now, yep, you need to first launch the server once after the mod installation, and then find all the files, but these are guaranteed to be in the right place!

Aaand you can find the installation instructions both here in pinned discussions and on our Discord server, along with the support channel with a bunch of useful info (e.g. how to make your server work properly without a wipe after CF installation)

Don't get me wrong here, this mod DOES require some maintenance at this point, but nothing about it is fundamentally broken (otherwise I would've updated it or taken it down) - it just lacks a lot of features and the code quality leaves a lot to be desired.

this mod is seriously busted dude, would be great if the creator made an installation guide. Your server side .pbo files are completely missing from the mods addon folder when steam downloads it. Thats why everyone's menu isn't opening up with the default key "O" from the steam download what's the point in even having the mod up if it's a broken download??? Any new people to this mod don't waste your time with it VPP is a better one, take the mod down already if you're not going to fix it.

@miniroll: There is no way to find items on map with Zomberry. Try VPP Admintool. This has a lot of more functions.

Is there any way to use the admin tool to find loot on the map? I feel this is the only option that this mod is missing. Like in some admin tools you can type in the loot name and it will show you its location on the map?

GTAIVenjoyer, 'Freeze' and 'Break Legs' are not included in ZomBerry. Compare the menu you're looking at to the screenshots above

I had it working before but now when I open player permissions, everything is checked such as 'Freeze' and I can't uncheck it. When I refresh, it forces me to remain frozen and I can't move. I'm still able to spawn stuff in and teleport with H and etc, but all the options like 'Freeze' and 'Break Legs' etc are stuck with check mark and I can't uncheck. Did a new update break this? Something on my end or does this just need to be updated?

The config file generating after first startup of the server in your profile folder has been a standard thing since Standalone started. Pretty simple really.

@vaker I understand, I just feel like there is a simpler way of doing these mods. I've been modding DayZ since the beginning (Arma2), and it was much simpler to dump the folders into the root directory, and then use the init file to call said mod based on it's location etc, etc. There has to be a way to call the files so they load normally. I feel there's less control now. Less function, more complicated, more issues. For instance, PVE systems in DayZSA. Sad face.

Merlin, because neither DayZ Launcher nor any of the server managers ever had an ability to copy files into profiles folder during mod installation stage.

Once upon a time, this mod contained a folder which you had to copy into profiles folder... and users just edited it in the same place, within the mod folder*, and wondered why didn't it work.

* - It'd be nice if mods had reliable access to own mod folders, but that's not the case. It's certainly possible (yep, this too was a part of ZomBerry codebase!), but it requires a lot of hacky solutions that might break with every DayZ update. The only place all mods have a guaranteed access to is the profiles folder.

I'm very confused on this installation process. From my understanding the folder goes into the root of DayZ, and the key goes in to the key folder which for me is also in the root folder of DayZ. But then after running the game/server, it's supposed to populate a "zomberry config" file where you input the admin's ... when does it populate this folder next year? Why can't there just be a folder already made so we can just input everything?

i setup the mod and everythingt added mysself as admin in the cfg file and set my keyboard for the menu and it doesnt show up in game when i press the bind to open the admin tools menu

Thanks. Mrtea101. yep... Gotta note, Debug() methods in ZomBerry actually predate the introduction of Debug methods in diag binaries. But yep, that needs to be fixed, will do once I get some free time

Hey vaker, very good admin tools, i am just giving you a heads up to help anyone else that might be using diag, in ZomBerryHelpers.c(50), your Debug function conflicts with the internal array.Debug from diag, it's not used anywhere so if you can rename/remove that, it would fix the compile error.
