Does it work with Combat Extended?

TheGoofyOne's updated to 1.3, in case anyone was wondering.
TheGoofyOne Mar 7, 2020 @ 11:35am
I like this MOD too.
I'll pull mine down if this gets updated.
Updated it to 1.1 here - https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2016357794

1.1 would be great, love this mod :)

Any 1.1 plans? If you still play.

@bearhiderug Patch.

@Acerrrr12[ENG]: If the mods are both <xml> based, which they probably are, you can probably look at the patch code and pick and choose (edit it by hand) to do what you want. They are probably both usable as are, altho one will win setting the "fixed" cost?

Should you be putting a leading "/" in front of your Defs/ThingDef[etcetc]/etc/etc?

I am looking forward to using this - thanks!

Good for when you have a devilstrand farm over a cloth farm.

While I have yet to check the actual stats, I have a feeling that (Since the normal flak jacket and pants combined together almost out-do marine armor.) Devilstrand flak, which Devilstrand is a pretty strong armor for sharp, could be near millitary levels.

Thank You! :steamhappy: this is the first time i really did anything related to mod development.
larSyn  [author] Jan 8, 2019 @ 11:09am
@Acerrrr12 [ENG] Don't worry about it. Wasn't asshole-ish at all. I haven't been able to get much time for games or mods lately, sadly. When I do get some time I'll look inot your suggestion.
Acerrrr12 [ENG] Dec 31, 2018 @ 8:26am
Sorry if I came acrost as an asshole, I did not mean to be and I have fairly little idea waht it takes to mod rimworld. The only coding experiance i have is in the basics of Python and the bare semblance of a begining in HTML website making.
Acerrrr12 [ENG] Dec 31, 2018 @ 8:24am
Thanks.
I was thinking that you could add proceduraly generated (on the leather part) flacks for all the vanilla metals. Or maybe just plasteel. maybe using the stats form stuffed flacks as a 'baseline' for what they would be with the normal fabrics. It would be tedious but fairly easy if my (uneducated) guesses are correct.

@Acerrrr12 [ENG] This mod should work fine with any other mod that adds leather or fabric. :)

Unfortunately, this and Stuffed Flaks work exactly the same except for what categories are added (Metallic, Stony, Leathery, etc). Someone that knows C# better than I do could probably make them work together, but for now it's above my head.
Acerrrr12 [ENG] Dec 30, 2018 @ 9:54am
Does this work with mods like dinosauria that add more types of leather?
And could someone throw together a patch for Stuffed Flacks?
larSyn  [author] Dec 19, 2018 @ 6:26am
@CrazyOdd That's probably exactly it. I'll check into it some this weekend. Thanks.
CrazyOdd Dec 14, 2018 @ 10:28am
This seems to spit out a few errors, like "made of stuff, but stuff is null", when starting a new playthrough. Might just be becauce the scenario has no cloth for the flak selected.

As a person who plays Randy Merciless in commitment mode, this now really helps me survive the 30 man raids/seiges. Thanks for the update
larSyn  [author] Dec 9, 2018 @ 8:02am
Updated to v1.1. Stuff Effect Multipliers added.

Now the leather and fabric affect the stats of the gear.
larSyn  [author] Nov 27, 2018 @ 4:41am
@Silverwindpegasus Thanks! I'll look into getting the stats to change with the fabric.
Kinyua Nov 22, 2018 @ 11:32pm
Can confirm, made a hyperweave jacket that only gave 30 percent, it was poor, a poor cotton jacket gave me 30 percent as well, love the mod, hope you change it to make it worthwhile on using this with other materials besides just looks. I love the panterra look though.
larSyn  [author] Nov 22, 2018 @ 6:15am
@Deyon From what I saw in my llimited testing, there wasn't any change in the armor rating with the different fabrics and leathers. I could be wrong, and if I am, someone can let me know and I'll update the OP with the info.
Deyon Nov 21, 2018 @ 5:44am
isnt devilstrand armor really OP now? :P
larSyn  [author] Nov 21, 2018 @ 5:12am
@step on me and call me a worm Cool. Glad you like it. :)
step on me and call me a worm Nov 20, 2018 @ 9:45am
Perfect, I was always annoyed by having to sow cotton just to make armor.
