On the 29th turn AI has just out of the blue spawned gazilions of oathsmen and founded a religion.

As others have said, Oathsmen look to be bugged, at least in terms of them not spawning when barb camps are cleared. Horseback Riding is unlocked and I've tried with multiple saves, but no luck.

what?! it's bugged for me as well, but it grants hungary HUNDREDS of units!! the map was completely flooded with oathsmen and no one could move. eventually i got on his bad side and he slaughtered me

I believe this one is bugged. Oatshemen do not spawn automatically when camps are cleared, not even when I have Horseback Riding. Spending faith in a holy city removes its holy city status, even for your own holy city. I also had a weird bug with caravans spawning for free until I had more than 30. It said 30/9 in the UI.

@nicovallejos How is this mod obsolete? It's for a totally different game. The inclusion of a Civ there has no bearing upon a mod for those who still prefer Civ V over VI.

Looks like Civ VI: The Gathering Storm has been released already as of Valentine's Day. It seems Hungary is already included. For that, I'm afraid JFD's mod seemed to be no longer updated and is now obsolete.

There's a Matthias Corvinus mod that has been in the workshop as of now.

I know that sometimes other mods can interfere with the standard game setup, so here's a list of the mods I use in my current game, besides your Hungarian civ:

Poor Tiles Tweak; Copper Buff Resource; Granary Includes Bison; Undead Kennys Pueblo civ; More Luxuries; Ingame Editor and Historical Religions Edit.

If any of these mods is the culprit which spoils the music rotation, I would like to know - I have played quite a few games with the Ingame Editor, and this is the first time using mods that the music has behaved weirdly - or hasn't been there at all, besides during diplomatic interactions.

To JFD: This civ is great fun to play - however, I have a problem with the game's music, when using this mod.

After the Hungarian theme has finished, there's either no music at all or the game loops one of the European pieces of music - this irritates me a lot.

I have got the same problem, only messages like this, no description but a word like this, and each names associated with it is "TXT_KEY_CIV_JFD_HUGARY"
Before the update, i do not remember it was like this

For some reason, Hungary founded Catholicism, and the pressure was 400+, so in a few turns, there was only Catholicism.

I guess instead of focusing on faith, Hungary should be a turtle nation, whith the végvárak being a replacement of fortresses, and giving no yields but pure extra defense. Maybe nerfed by maintenence or giving bunuses to enemies capturing it, such as giving nearby land to them. Great defense if yours, great reward for the enemy that defeats the unit stationed there. And I'd like the UA to be either an economic boost for being at war with someone, or something related to horses, such as doubled horse rescoures, or extra production towards mounted units, extra producion from horses, or +1 movement to horsemen, or having your capital start with already improved horses. To relat to the hussar topic, altough hussars were originally Serbian refugees in Hungary, hussars were both used by Hungary, Serbia, and Poland, but probably had the most importance in Hungary.

To the of Setting of Things to the Straightens:

Hussar Tactics; Used by Serbs.

Hussar Cavalry (Staplemark/Iconic Form); Serbs hired and equiped by Hungarians, using Serbian tactics.

Winged Hussar Cavalry; Poles using Hungarian equipment, Serbian tactics, and Polish twists to both.

Hussar Cavalry (Mercenaries); Poles and Hungarians using Serbian tactics and equipment provided by their employer.

So, it was Serbian, then the Hungarians and Poles added some things and made it popular.
Sorta like the Welsh and the Longbow.

First off, theres a huge difference between hussars and winged hussars. Hussars didn't originate in Hungary either, they're Serbian but the Hungarians adopted and perfected them.

the vegvar should only affect a city while it's in resistance. otherwise, it would be impossible to sustain wars against hungary

Sadly the settler still bugs with Austria on ynaemp.
Range is 2 instead of minimum 3.

I've recently updated my Mods, and either because of Belgium, or Armenia, or this mod my save game become useless. Is there a way to revert the most recent updates\reinstall them manually? I kinda liked that game... :/

We fought the Turks for hundreds of years and keept them from reaching europe for hundreds of years. I think we perform good. At least at the Medieval era. Nowdays... +NeverSayWeber

This seems like a rather overpowered build... If one of the three bonuses was crummy I don't think I'd be as sceptical but all three look quite strong. How does Hungary usually perform?

Curious to see the Vegvar's damage feature while at war. At a glance it sounds a little overpowered but I will reserve judgement till tI see it in action. :SocialPolicy:

Causes a crash when I start a new game in the industrial age. I'm running all of your other (excellent) civ mods without issue but there seems to be an issue somewhere in this one.
