Doesnt work with questionable ethic clones for anyone wondering^^ Even tried to remove the clone status from the pawns but i seams to require something more human. Will also post this on questionable ethics. Flesh is weak and all that.

That's because it's a fantastic mod, and we thank you for making it <3
Imoja  [author] Oct 12, 2020 @ 8:31pm
I cant believe this mod has almost 2000 subscribers. Sorry I didn't have the skills to progress this mod any further guys and girls.
Blinty Oct 12, 2020 @ 4:48pm
@The Emperor's Angel - I believe you set it up like a surgery, when you had the trials drugs to administer. You make the trials drugs at a drugs lab I believe.
Mile has made an updated version of this mod that works with 1.2, if you weren't aware
Ikarion Oct 12, 2020 @ 4:14pm
I can't find a way to enact the Witcher Trials on my Colonists, anyone have any idea such as a Drug Lab or something else?
Vintage Fruitcake Apr 4, 2020 @ 8:30am
Thanks, I added you as a friend, so I can talk to you personally

Hey, I'm interested in picking up this mod and expanding it. I was wondering if you could give me source files.
Imoja  [author] Feb 27, 2020 @ 11:43am
Thanks Mlie, description updated.

Updated for RimWorld 1.1, no other changes.

Well at least you're honest. RIP
koston32 Feb 23, 2020 @ 3:27am
dead mod?
Chillstep Rabbit Feb 7, 2020 @ 8:01pm
So does this allow your colonists to live much longer? I can't imagine a witcher who lives the same length of time as a normal person.
MWRK Feb 6, 2020 @ 2:39pm
Is anyone picking this up? I'm not much of a modder, but was thinking about trying my hand and am curious where others are going with it.
Koro Jan 15, 2020 @ 3:47pm
Sad to read... I sent you a friend request to see if I can help out. I guess I could implement what I requested.
Imoja  [author] Jan 14, 2020 @ 6:35am
Hello everyone.

Due to the increased popularity of the Witcher franchise I decided to leave an update to all fans of this mod.
I will not be updating this mod. Apologies. Too busy IRL to look at getting back into this.

If anyone wants to continue development of this mod, feel free to DM me. You have my permissions to continue developing this mod in any direction you chose.
Koro Jan 13, 2020 @ 6:30pm
*Sad fanboy noises*

Could we have that in future updates? Using a RimWorld of magic I already made Yenn, and she feels so lonely, you know.
The Creature Jan 13, 2020 @ 11:21am
@Koro you can't sadly:steamsad:
Koro Jan 5, 2020 @ 1:28pm
Hey! looks nice. How do I create Geralt using Prepare Carefully?
Fenrisudo Dec 11, 2019 @ 12:12pm
Hello, this mod looks awesome! Can I use it in a medieval setting?
Latex Santa Dec 2, 2019 @ 4:50am
I found all of the recipes for the Witcher brews, they are in the drug lab. They require quite a bit of stuff, half of the surface area of my base is now farms, to grow all of the psychoid, smokeleaf, devilstrand, hops, cloth, neutro flowers (this one's from VGP Vegetable Garden mod) I need. Luckily I had a lot of human and insect meat hoarded for making chemfuel. You also need someone with the intellectual skill to cook the psychite tea, yayo, go-juice, and devilstrand takes a bit to grow, but it's well-worth it.
Latex Santa Nov 29, 2019 @ 8:17am
The mod looks great, I love having a way of significantly reducing the need for sleep for an organic pawn without having to resort to Astra Militarum Astartes organs (taking a break from that series of mods). Only problem is, where do I make the Brew of the Elders? I can see the recipes for the first two ones, the Brew of the Grasses and Brew of the Dreams, in my cooking stove bill list, but not the last one. I REALLY don't want to spawn them in and then devmode delete a huge amount of silver or valuables as "payment".
Ma.Xiu_ Oct 13, 2019 @ 7:16pm
What tech level are these additions? Will it work with a medieval playthrough or perhaps even a RWP one?
Kurugane Oct 8, 2019 @ 8:15pm
@Romru, yea. Based on the context of his post, i'd say so.
I'm experiencing another weird problem. I have to re-research witcher swords everytime i load in.
Romru Sep 30, 2019 @ 5:45am
Where are the drugs made? I am guessing drug table thing, but as I am on a medieval tech play through the drug table is not around. Not on the basic crafting spot or anywhere else I could find. Any tips? @Kurugane you asked what had to be consoled in of @Edin. I think the drugs would...
Mistletoe The Bard Sep 30, 2019 @ 2:43am
These brew are so cheap to buy from traders, no point to go through the troubles and craft them ourselves... each sold for around 0.50 silvers... sometimes cargo pods dropped hundreds of them as well.
Mistletoe The Bard Sep 29, 2019 @ 11:54am
I spawned a lv20 melee pawned with elder trial wearing power armor and power helmet. He managed to 1 vs 1 a Kraken with a chainsaw. lmao 10/10.
Kurugane Sep 28, 2019 @ 5:59pm
@Edin. What did you have to console in?
Edin Sep 28, 2019 @ 5:03am
You might want to create a patch that allows this mod to work with medieval tech games without forcing the player to Mod Console things into existence. Also, may want to post the discord link again.

Have your colonists wear tanky armor when you work on them. I've come to realize that a surgery "failure" is just random calculated damage applied to a colonist. If the armor is great enough it can mitigate or outright block all damage from a failure. I've failed the grass trials three times and had to damage bounce off the gear.
Haineko Jun 23, 2019 @ 5:40am
The trials should be CE compatible, the weapon will bounce off armor unless you add: <armorPenetration>0.4</armorPenetration> The 0.4 value is slightly higher than the CE vanilla spear, so for a magical weapon maybe 0.55? Too much higher and we get into chopping through plasteel power armor like tissue paper.
Didgereedank Jun 14, 2019 @ 8:13pm
leshens!
thryllth Jun 4, 2019 @ 11:08pm
It may be possible that the failure chance is slightly overtuned, 20 subjects, I mean willing volunteers resulted in 16 fatalities and the use of 115 brew of grasses. Yes 80% fatality rate to just get the first trial done. This was with a skill 13.5 doc in clean but not sterile conditions with good light. I understand that there are great benefits involved but frankly that is a bit much for just the first trial.
Keller Max May 29, 2019 @ 6:32am
Loool. Just got a cargo drop with 225 Brews of Dream
Keller Max May 26, 2019 @ 4:58am
This mod doesn't do well with "Less Arbitrary Surgery" Failed trial can end without wounds.
4ydra May 11, 2019 @ 4:46am
Great mod but I have a question:

Is your mod compatible with EdB Prepare Carfully? I cant find the Witcher Trials under the health conditions.
krwr12 Mar 22, 2019 @ 3:48am
Does it combat extended compatible?
velcroboy333 Mar 16, 2019 @ 9:35pm
Looking to check this out in my next play-through...Any chance of adding/or creating mod with Witcher monsters? Nekkars, barghest, drowner...etc

Finwej Mar 7, 2019 @ 8:23am
Any updates?
TheJinx Dec 23, 2018 @ 11:03pm
Hmm yeah maybe the market prices should be adjusted
Insigar Kayen Dec 23, 2018 @ 3:40pm
Well... Randy was kind enough to just drop me 170 brew of the elders so after 3 hours of trying to get the needed ingredients I was like "YES! YOU STUPID CHEAT STORYTELLER!". So now my 3 colonists are doing their thing and if it weren't for that slothful guy I would almost go from triple to double speed because these guys are moving way too fast :D
Long story short: I'm lovin it!
Rhunin Dec 19, 2018 @ 6:02pm
Would this work with Humanoid Races? IE mods like Androids, LotR races, etc?
Legion Dec 16, 2018 @ 8:01pm
Use the Def Editor mod if you want to have anything values/costs/etc changed.
shadowstalker1857 Dec 12, 2018 @ 6:11pm
Found a glitch for some reasons the drugs don't work anymore for me. I already tested with having the mod alone without anything else it is not working for me, wanted to tell developer of the error.
Jinn Nov 21, 2018 @ 1:59pm
This mod is incredible. You should think of adding Signs (possible with JecTools), potions that can heal serious injuries/conditions but require excessively high blood filtration/pain tolerance/etc. There are so many awesome things that could be brought into Rimworld from the Witcher universe. Maybe even try a collab with the guys behind that Star Wars mod to get a start on potential. Subbed, favorited, and desparately researching the Trails before the Wild Hunt arrives. :)
PMC_Zero Nov 15, 2018 @ 12:34am
Can u change the cost from the trader? Its super cheep... its about $2 (1.7?)
