First of all , thank's for this great scenario ! I've had a good bit of fun playing this on DE , but like others have reported , when we get to the pyramid , the text says that a path opened forward , but the maze is blocked and we cannot see any other way through . Is there any way to fix this for DE ?

so i'm stuck at the pyramid with a friend as well. we're on the DE steam edition.

Hi, we got stuck at the pyramid tonight ! Like, the "rock blocades" wasn't removed from the map after defeating the southern boss, in the forest... A bit disappointing as we had to quit everything !
We tried to take down the Egyptian building, but that was too much fort us ahaha
The mod is great tho, impressive work !

@decoY try filling the empty slots with ai if you are launching with less than 8 players. This should fix this HD bug

Hello man, thanks for your mod but I don't understand, enemy units don't pop when I launch a game :(

@Gormuz - All the units are what they are for proper balancing. Some beginning units are strong in the beginning, but weak after hero. Some units are the opposite. There is a unit class for everyone to suit all playstyles.

Why not changing the hero of the heavy swordsman line from siegfried to francesco sforza? not only he's faster but his attack rate is also higher and he has the condo bonus against anti-infantry units

@WhoKnowsUnknown - You must own all expansion DLC's to host this map, once you own the DLC's after selection create a lobby, under "data set" expansions must be selected to host the dlc map

Hey, I bought the three expansions (the forgotten, rise of the rajas & african kingdoms) today, also so that I can finally host this game!
Still doesn't work thought, it doesn't show up in my list when I create a mulitplayer game, only when I start age of empires its one of my ''enumerated mods''

Can you help me there? I really wanna play your rgp mode!

@Skorpion - The 2019 version was done by a different editor based on one of my old versions. My map will always be called 2018; as this is when the map came out. Current is v389

Hello im a but confused cuz i have 2 versions and idk which one is newer? First is v389 from 2018 and v376 from 2019? I would know by date but idk if years are kinda wrong written

@Jerry - Yes, Since this map has DLC units on it, the game will not let you play with those DLC items unless you have the DLC unlocked. For that, this map requires all DLC's to host, but you can still join if someone else hosts the map

@From Brazil I guess - I actually was tossing around the idea of adding a respawn, but I decided against it, as it would (1) add more of a learning curve to the map, and (2) severely make the map easier to win. Also, no one would want to wait around for an hour to watch their team use the revival, just to see them die trying to get it. Thanks for the recommendation though. =)

hey PoppingOff, my friend and I have been playing this for quite some time and my friend has decided to edit the scenario to add an revival obelisk so it gets a little easier because we haven't been able to finish this with other players yet and more often than not new players end up dying and we have to restart, here's what we have planned:

- revival obelisk might be guarded by a boss
- only 1 obelisk
- only usable one time and revives all dead players by the time it is used
- when a player selects their unit a new one is spawned on a revive island which gets upgrades as normal like normal units
- when the second life is used the player gets a king on the revive island so that they can still talk if their unit dies

what do you think?

I think Teutons for the AI is a better option. Those monks have already fast heal enough.

Also, I saw you can choose the Heavy Shieldman class, but you didn't write how much kills it needs to become a hero or what units it turns into. So far I have been able to get to the Legionary. Good work btw, that's a very good RPG scenario

Solo gameplay is possible,, but it's really hard, and I don't think it would be humanly possible without mods. 9x civ bonus mod helps that you can mix some civs with other troops to make very strong heroes, but it also makes a bunch of the troops that would normally be not a big deal really strong, like the Elite Woad Raider that starts appearing by the time you get to the second monastery

@From Brazil I guess - This game requires pretty advanced movements and actions that AI's would not understand. Unfortunately this game is a team experience by disign, so solo gameplay should be hard if not impossible to maintain that balance.

Is there an AI i can use to play this game with them as teammates (players 2, 3, 4 and 5)? Otherwise the scenario gets really hard and my internet is bad so I can't really play with people. So far I have only been able to finish it alone with the 9x civ bonus mod, using a Japanese Charles Martel

@Yang T, Unfortunately, this map has a lot of new DLC units on it and is only available with the DLC's. Sometimes the steam has a sale on the DLC's for like $2.99 USD each. Sorry

ok, I found the issue. I do not have the rise of the rajas dlc. is it possible that you make this scenario playable without requiring DLCs, or at least some of them?

I do not know if this is my issue or this scenario's, but I cannot see it in the scenario menu. I further noticed that its format is not .scx, as my other scenarios I have. please help.

Pretty good, brings back the sense of nostalgia from playing this absolute classic of a gamemode. Definitely makes it easier though, but moer fun with different classes! Good job!

Hello PoppingOff, have You been able to track down the bug causing us not to be able to enter the bossfight in the end? We can't get past the haystacks, they always spawn before we are in the final fight area...
