Ty Shidan. They are now adults and no longer lose health. My only issues now is that they cannot hold backpacks. I bought these ones from the animal trader. To test, I will go to swamp and capture some to see if they work because the adults look way bigger than the trader one. Might be that mod that Fs it.

Most likely they are not actually losing health, but are actually growing so fast they are outpacing their natural health regeneration. Very young animals often have this issue, as their natural HP regeneration is so slow.

As they get older it will be less of an issue, and eventually will disappear completely.

don't know as never seen the issue and this mod only ads backpacks. nothing else.
this mod has also been finished since 2019. so whatever is causing the issue is some other mod because it's not mine. since this mod was fine tuned for a year until any issues were fully removed.

I am using the animal traders as well. Would that cause issues?

I have 3 River Raptor pups I just bought. I went to add the river raptor backpack to it but it wont equip. I thought maybe it is because they are pups? But my garru and swamp turtle can equip the bag as pups. Has anyone ran into this?

So is it on purpose that the athletics modifier is 2x?

there is not without changing them in the FCS.
backpacks are set to the size of the creature using it, and ones that are based irl are set to norms for that. i try and keep most my mods set to vanilla experience.

Is there a way to change the stats of the backpacks? As it stands, I feel like some of the stat changes, and the amount of space available in the backpack break the realism a bit.

i do not support other mods as i usually do not even know they exist.
you or the mod maker of the other mod are welcome to make a patch.

Hope there will be a patch for Juggernaut Wardogs.

yeah, they do sell each type, but i limited the amount of items to be sold.
which forces the player to have to look at other places to see if the backpack they want has spawned.

backpacks are at the animal traders shops.
you have a chance of getting one you need. you may need to visit several ro wait for the one you are at to restock.

Where do I buy the BP from? I have a mod that let's me buy all kinds of animals in game but I'm unsure where I find the BP from this mod. Do I need to import my save ?

Reason why 2x added to crab backpacks. it's so they could keep up. otherwise they are extremely slow and wont keep up with the party.

Anyone know of a version without the x2 athletics? I just want some normal crabpacks for my crabs.

@jc.machintosh The bonedog/wolf backpack fit on the wolf for me. No bag here for cleansing unit. It'd be a strong teammate! Pretty op, probably slow too.
@CrachMilson Animal traders/Nomads will sell Bull/Garru backpacks...
or steal some from the bodies of a caravan. Wiping a caravan is only like -2 rep.

Theoretically they go 60kph... it's more like 25-40 depending on path-finding

Except some for blood spiders... my bestiary display needs 2nd mod for blood spider.

having backpacks increase atheletics by 2x may be alittle overkill having a beak thing running at 60mph as a teen is terrifying.

The backpacks kind of overwhelm normal shopkeepers... Maybe only animal traders should sell them, or they should be rarer...

Suggestion. Eccentric wandering animal bag vendor. That sells fancier looking animal bags. One that covers your gorillo in pink bows and another that gives your spider a fancy top hat. Maybe a crate for your crab to hide in that gives a stealth bonus.

Because of this mod, the characters did not want to eat food from the inventory of other characters in the group (sharing food is enabled in the AI settings). Also, the animals did not eat food from animal feeders. I couldn't figure out what the problem was for a long time, but when I turned off this mod, everything worked fine.

Perhaps it has been already discussed but my bonedog doesn't want to eat even from the ground when he has a backpack on, only when it's off his back

since i've been playing with this mod no vendor sells garru backpacks, there are backpacks for every other animal it seems but not my garru..
