Hi, it seems that with introduction of wimp gene your wimp trait remake becomes extremely powerful, giving almost full antitoxic lungs, free jogger movespeed with all drawbacks countered by painstopper

@Immovable Ozzy it is, but its a pretty complex way, you just can go to Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\294100\1497105115 open xml files with text editor and just remove strings that patch psychic sensitivity, i'll do it for myself and all works fine, no more random stats.

well as i can see for now this mod is dead (it has a lot of bugs and compatibility issues and creator of the mod doesnt care of it) so you better to find another traits mod.

some modded races like crystalloid have naturally psy sensitive buffs, but the individuality setting can still have them set as -80 for example. How does this impact gameplay? Is there any way for this mod to take innate sensitivity into account?

I, too, would like to request settings to disable (or tweak ranges of) the random psychic sensitivity.

Non-straight pawns can't romance each other, straight pawns attempt to romance their own gender, setting the number of traits for pawns to spawn with in the config doesn't work. Shame that the mod is so broken right now, because before it was, I preferred the way it did everything it did compared to how vanilla did it.

Yeah, have option to remove EVERYTHING except the traits.Causes a lot of issues with a lot of mods

FYI, this is what the author of WayBetterRomance had to say:

"This is an error on Individuality's side. Their patches add a extra commonality tag to the Straight trait, because it's only testing for the existence of a commonality tag on the Polyamorous trait, which doesn't exist in Way Better Romance."

Hey @Syrchalis, I have an error in my debug log that doesn't appear to be causing any actual issue, so just letting you know. It only occurs when I have both WayBetterRomance and [SYR] Individuality in my mod list, with the romance features disabled in the latter. Turning either mod off fixes the error. The error complains that this piece of XML has the commonality element defined twice (which it does):

<TraitDef><defName>Straight</defName><commonality>0</commonality><degreeDatas><li><label>straight</label><description>{PAWN_nameDef} is romantically and sexually attracted to people of the opposite gender.</description></li></degreeDatas><exclusionTags><li>SexualOrientation</li></exclusionTags><commonality>0</commonality></TraitDef>

I haven't had any gameplay issue with this that I've noticed. I am posting this on Way Better Romance's mod page as well.

this fantastic mod is somewhat clashing with the (relatively new) crystalloids mod; gay guy falls in love with straight crystalloid babe

besides, i'm all for Immovable Ozzy's idea ;)

Is there any way to disable random psychic sensivity part of the mod? I have more than enough genes to work with and it just makes it more annoying since 2 people can be so different just due to random value at start, i know its the whole idea but still, like there is romance features toggle in mod options already, why not sensivity too. But in general, great work! Can't find myself playing without this mod anymore lately.

i know you're either busy with irl problems, trying to fix the romance bugs or you've given up on the mod, but i'd like to suggest an option to toggle removing traits; even if they're redundant with the new systems this mod introduces. all the best to ya, and i sincerely hope you dont abandon this awesome mod.

I'm having an error pop when I use both this mod and way better romance despite romance being turned off on this mod. I asked the owner of way better romance and they said it had to do with your mod. the error is supposed to be harmless but it's still a little annoying so I was wondering if you could fix the error if possible. sorry for uploading the log this way hugslib is not working for me.

Has anyone confirmed if the romance stuff is broken in 1.4 even without Biotech? So far it seems like my pawns will attempt to romance the correct genders but it's never successful. Curious if anyone has played under the same conditions.

More than half my pawns are turning out gay, suddenly. Is that normal? I know how to fix it, but I'm just not sure where it's coming from.

It is a +20%, tried to rectify another trait mods " x.5 to workspeed"(other stuff as well) so had to check and it goes:
100% base + teetotaler 20%: 120%
120% * x0.5: 60%

Sorry if it's been asked before but does "Teetotaler has 20% global work speed" in the description mean "set to 20%" or "+20%"? The phrasing seems to imply the former despite that making no sense.

Mod seems to completely break any non-straight pawns, they are unable to successfully romance or be romanced no matter what.

Update - I removed it and it went fine (seems to have replaced any Individuality-specific traits with new ones, which I used character editor to adjust). Sad because it's a great mod but I love the RP value of romance and it totally breaks that for non-straight pawns.

Are there any plans to have this mod be compatible with the Romance system introduced in biotech? I used to love this mod but it's kinda broken my game since none of my queer pawns can stay together romantically anymore & I can't remove it.

Can you make the psychich sensitivity to be a trait bonus? No idea how to do it without it being a trait. Im asking cuz im using the Synergetic Traits mod and it multiplies a lot of trait values due to the way it works.

Also if somehow the learning factor is increased by a % for example x105% the negative -130% from Slow learner gets amplified while the postive +2% per skill level does not so when i get a trait with 140% learning speed and have slow learner i get hit with a malus instead, so making the bonus a trait would be good too since both would get amplified.

Are we sure that bi/gay is working in this mod? I have two bi pawns and one is continually rebuffing the other, and when I look at the new 1.4 romance chance it says they have an incompatible orientation

These trait changes sound amazing! Adding another vote for either adding a toggle to all the non trait related features that might conflict with other mods, or just releasing a "lite" version that only contains the trait changes for those of us facing compatibility issues.
