@Jet 5 months too late but this mod allows your plant yield to increase if you raise the yield chance over 100%. If you have less than 100% this mod does nothing, you just have your chance to fail

i have this mod but im still occasionally getting harvest failures. am i misunderstanding or should this not happen?

@Malnormalulo In vanilla, Plant Harvest Yield and Animal Gather Yield are actually Success chance (unlike mining yield) so a value of less than 100% chance causes a failure chance while a value greater than 100% does nothing.

This mod makes it so that they are actually yield %, so (for example) a 90% Yield will always yield 90% of the normal amount (instead of a 90% chance of 100% and a 10% chance for 0%) and a 120% yield means that you would always get 120% of the normal value.

I'm having a really hard time interpreting the description. It's not clear to me what sentences are describing vanilla behavior and what sentences are describing modded behavior. By my best reading, it sounds like this mod doesn't do anything for 1.3+ except prevent harvest fail? Is that right?

Can you cancel the setting of post-processing curve? For example, in the module Combat Extended, he has a processing curve for the aiming time so that it will not be lower than 50%. Could you please override and cancel it? Thank you.

Also amusingly I am here because I tracked down a bizarre issues, I had Harvest Yield 1.3 somehow still in my list (game redownloaded it?) in my list and it was causing a lockup due to having this 1.4 version. Very common though sometimes hard to track down error. Somehow I subscribed to both at the same time. had to manually remove both and got this again, easy fix.

Im having a problem where the mod is not working, sure got like 300% with pickaxe and skill, but still only allows 100% yield

I literally just explained it. This mod only removes the CAP at 100%. The mod settings are so you can set your own cap, if you want to avoid super high values like 800%.

This mod does NOT increase the yields by itself. It JUST allows yields to actually exceed 100%.

Then you haven't read the description. This mod does not increase your yield. This isn't a cheat mod. It only ALLOWS values above 100% to actually do something. Without the mod having 120% harvest yield would only give you 100% yield.

You need other things, like high plants stat, implants, bionics to increase these stats above 100%.

Well, seems like the mod isnt working for me, no clue maybe its because a mod or so. getting always the same amount of ressources, no mater what for percentages i use.

The mod only enables certain stats to actually do something above 100%. You still need to get these stats above 100% with other means.

Maybe is there any issues with other mods or do i have to load it at a special Place in the Modlist? Unfortunaly this mod isnt working for me, when i change theYield in the Modsettings i always harvest the same amount of what ever i planted. The normal amount what i would get when i dont use the Mod.

Hey Syr, got a question for you. Does this mod, and your other yield mods conflict with the Un-Limited mod? It does something similar, I just don't know how to read the code well enough to be able to tell.

Fixed mod description.

Apparently in 1.3 it was changed that harvest yields above 100% provide additional plants. This does not make the mod irrelevant though. Read description for details.

Yeye I know the issue. I had that in 1.3, fixed it, but also overwrote the 1.2 assembly. I gotta rebuild the mod for 1.2, then it'll be fixed.

for more information it just seems to not let us use any debug or dev mode stuff it disables the menu even if it was with 0 other mods or ect just by it existing it didint allow us to use it

Yep, happened to me too. The problem went away as soon as I disabled Havest Yield.
