the 1.3 bug is amazing if ur using shotguns - absolutely terrifying if fighting against shotguns

@Spartanlord you can use the RIMMSQoL mod. It allows you to change variables of the majority of stuff within the game, modded or vanilla. Just open up the mod settings (QoL), go to Weapons, find the shotguns, go down to the Item Stats tab, add another stat, and put the damage multiplier somewhere between 0.1 to 0.2, that way, the shotguns will do similar damage as they did in vanilla.

there was a copy mod for 1.2 that might have fixed that or it can be changed in settings didnt notcied the damage increase

Works in 1.3 but unfortunately is bugged; each shotgun 'pellet' does full damage. This sextuples the damage of your shotgun. You can kill a Centipede in 3 chain shotgun bursts.

if your running combat extended they have their own system and it causes a visual bug if its not applying then the recent update might have changed something breaking the mod,

Okay so the full damage buckshot seems to only be an issue when set to random (for the rounding in mod setting which is default). Setting it to always round up solved the problem for me.

I have the same issue as Barg, but it applies to my colonists as well. Its shreads everything.

Mod made it so all pellets dealt the full 18 damage on a pump shotgun, but only when enemies were using it. Quite devastating.

Guys, how well, or unwell does this work with Combat Extended?
I am using Proper Shotguns for ages and having lots of fun with it. - Thanks for making it @XeoNovaDan.
Recently i am trying to make my game more trollish, with requirement to make ammo etc and i want to install CE. Frankly, not gonna do it if Proper Shotguns don't work with it.

@Devvo_Time you can do it yourself, Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\294100\1438488634\About , open About.xml (notepad works fine if you don't have Notepad++ or some other programming application), goto <supportedVersions> and add 1.2 after 1.1 using the same conventions as shown.

I can confirm that this works with 1.2. So far it worked flawlessly and it really is damn easy to just add your own Patches to it. Btw. If the 1.1 flag is so annoying, here's a small tip. Copy the mod to local and just add 1.2 in the about.xml. Pretty straight forward. Or just open the Mod folder directly. Until the author updates the mod there won't be any changes incoming anyways...

haven't seen any bugs with my modlist using this in 1.2. use caution, but this MAY be safe to use until updated, unsure of any conflicts until it's updated.

Hi, this is the only mod I'm missing to go full 1.2, I know how annoying is the "pls update" comments, but since it's a mod that I enjoy using a lot I'm joining the update mob (my apologies for that tho)

Heres a shot in the dark kinda inquiry for ya! Ever toyed around with the idea of *somehow* ( yeah, i get that is a doozy ) implementing a way to swap shell types? Buckshot for slug for example? Slug having more range, buckshot doing more dmg at shorter range.. You know, just the basic fundamental differences being represented in the code. Could be diff max ranges, could be same max range for the weapon but the buckshot spreads real wide so it becomes inneffective at range. IDK.. Maybe add an ammo belt which would 'carry the shells' to allow you to swap them out.. just to give it some more flavor so to speak lol

I dont mod for RW but I program generally speaking. I do RW testing. So I'm aware that without having ammo types and without having weapons that have any kinds of toggles or modes, or variable max ranges, then this is likely a huge lift.

But i figured you would be one of the best folks to ask about this!

This says it's compatible with Vanilla Wepaons Expanded - Laser, but what about regular Vanilla Weapons Expanded? It doesn't seem to be functioning in my game.

the shotgun pellets for me are doing full vanilla damage (18 for pump) per pellet anyone else have this issue? while nice to have such a op gun its not what im looking for and need to figure out if its the mod or one of the mods i have somehow having an issue
