I've unsubscribed from this mod countless times, keeps returning, like a bad smell. Needs to be taken out of the mod list entirely.

I spent 2 hours trying to work out which mod had killed my city. I kept thinking there's no way it's the garbage bin mod, that'd be crazy. Turns out I was wrong.

This mod was incompatible with half of my mods and caused a massive deathwave and losing me ♥♥♥♥ tons on money in the proccess.

This mod conflicts with Harmony and Zone Adjuster.Harmony cannot load with this enabled. Maybe you can look into it to see what the problem is.

RICO addicts (like me): swap over to Garbage Bin Manager 0.3 . Tested and working fine with Wheelie Bin - Lid - Color Variation .

@Ciar Aon I did reach out to TPB, but it seems they have moved on from the Cities: Skylines modding scene. There may or may not be a new equivalent appearing on the workshop sometime next week....

In the meantime, if you use the Loading Screen Mod's 'prefab skipping' function to skip the vanilla garbage bin prop (name is literally "Garbage Bin"), and subscribe to a replacement prop with the Garbage service (e.g. one of Arnold J. Rimmer, Bsc. Ssc.'s ones, like the one linked here), you'll get the replacement effect even without the mod.

RICO revisited warned me that this mod is incompatible to be used together. So RICO has been disabled. Before it was working fine.

Warning to users: this mod uses a long-outdated version of Harmony that will intermittently break mods using newer versions. Please don't use this mod if you're using any mod that uses Harmony 2 (including Network Skins 2, CSUR, Ploppable RICO Revisited, Lifecycle Rebalance Revisited, Repaint, NoBigTrucks, etc.).

Presume this would be incompatible withe the Hide It! mod? It provides a similar option to get rid of the bin. Please test when you have a moment.

Hello @TPB. Thank you for this mod. I really like that i can now have more realisitc Trash bins in Town. I have all DLCs an a ton of Mods and Assets subscribd. In most cases your Mod works. Sometime it simply 'forget' the settings.

Do you have plans to upgrade to 0Harmony v2.0.0.0 instead of the version v1.0.9.1 you use right now? As stated in DAS Mod https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2013398705 (thanks to @aubergine18 :) ) different Versions of Harmony causing issues. And as I use (as many people) Network Skins 2 Beta that already works with v2.0.0.0 it would be great to have your mod also updated :)

What does "Bin always visible" mean?
When I toggle it on they're always visible, also after a garbage truck came by ...
When I toggle it off no bins are shown at all ...

Would it be possible to make them always sit on the ground? Some buildings in mountainous regions don't properly align with road so bins sometimes end up floating in mid air (happens in vanilla game too IIRC).

Took me a long time to eliminate other mods but finally found that this one seems to have a debug flag set to on...? It leaves a file on the desktop each time the game is loaded called "harmony.log.txt"

Suggestion: Don't make "bins always visible" on by default, because even buildings that are set to not produce garbage will have bins (I had a ton of them on my runways)

I am working on a better version that will also let you select the bins and customize their location for each asset separately. No plans for the requested features of aubergine though :p But I am sure you'll manage!

Also change the name of the mod to Garbage Bin Controller to reflect the new features.
