No extended building mod?

I am doing a Campaign with the Kingdom of Media and i dunno if i am missing something but the variety of units is inexistent, and this also apply to all the eastern faction, i mean on the beggining of the game i can understand but even after expanding and have reclamed all the persian empire territory as well !? It feels like the eastern factions have been marginalized expecially afrter all the rethoric in the various description about "the ribirth of the persian empire" and then all the units u can deploy are 2 shitty spears and ,1 strong meele inf and 3 decent cavalry units... and all the auxiliary units are useless aswell or needs the highest lv of building to be deployed... this must be a joke unless im doing something wrong but the feeling is that the East was not touched by this mod

@MarZio ✝ agree with u on everything. tried to play as Rome but its not playable with the week economy and public order, doesnt make any sense!

This is my second post...the game crashes during every battle. I've tried everything. I've reinstalled the game and the mod. I'm only using the Ancient Empire mod. I really like what you've done but I can't play it. Nothing happens on the campaign map. Every time I start a battle after a few minutes of fighting the game crashes to the desktop without a message. I have everything up to date. I have a GF 4070 TI and the latest generation i7. Other total wars work fine. I really want this mod. I'm a big fan but unfortunately it doesn't work in my case. I can't play battles. I even tried lowering the settings and downloading a mod to reduce the battle map but it still crashes to the desktop. Does anyone have any ideas?

Diadochi is also Greek name which means successor, why u seperated them from Greek city states is unknown, but i suggest u doing some history before making historic mods

Macedonia wasn't Hellenistic, it was purely Greek, refering them as Macedonians and Greeks instead of just Greeks is crazy, also, Hellenistic means Greek in Greek language, 0 history knowledge as usual...

This mod keeps everything wrong with Total War Attila while discarding the few things Vanilla Attila did right. The diplomacy is utterly retarded and the anti player bias is magnifyied, now historically irrelevant AI factions (like the balearic island tribes) will randomly declare war on you and send full stacks all across the mediterrenean just to break your balls), the economy is super weak, public order almost impossible to keep and autoresolve useless (half of your army will die to a bunch of weak slaves, realistic lol), BTW all of this things on NORMAL difficulty (renamed decisive).

I don't recommend it, DEI for Rome 2 since it's a least playable and somewhat enjoyable, not like this mess.

I play for the Iceni. Trying to attack an enemy city, I choose my army, bring it to the city, and nothing happens. I just click the cursor on the settlement.

I tried both Classical Empires and Ancient Empires and can say that AE is better on it's own. Additionally, UMCenturion will come with more in the near future.

imo the better mod compared to Classical Empires. The cavalry in Ancient Empires and combat system atleast makes an impact and cavalry doesn`t feel like a wobbly sack of noodles like over there in CE. I did disable the supply system though and all the Classical Empire stuff since it did not better the campaign, somehow it made it worse. Keep up the good work, don`t overthink or complicate things up! Cheerio

I don't think it should auto download Classical Empires.
You need at least Ancient Empires Part 1 and 2 to play, AE Supply Systems and AE Dust Particles are optional but recommended.
Classical Empires is basically an Overhaul to Ancient Empires, changing the battle system (away from the 1hp system), ovarhauling attack damage and armor systems, changing to 12TPY and improving Battle- & Campaign AI etc.
It requires Ancient Empires to work, however AE works perfectly fine on it's own.

I just tried this mod and started as Carthage, usually my first moves with that faction is to get some ships, explore the worlds and get as many trade agreements as I can, but the whole world hates me, "Great power -50" <- is that by design? why?

Thank you, actually I've just changed some values in some rows to see whether I will be able to this or not but ok creating a seperate mod file with relevant tables probably will not cause any error

There are loads of potential scenarios causing that. Some change you made conflicts with other tables so you have to be very careful. Also, you shouldn’t update the main pack. I would create your own mod and import tables into your mod, making sure they load first

first..mod is realy nice..but play first "Rome battle" on desert and i have today 3x crash game after 10 min play?try end this battle but no have chance. i instal mods only for Ancient Emipires

Happy ides of March - Just a heads up, Ancient Empires is still being worked - progress is being made on the stability and among other things. Thanks for those that are still there to enjoy it, and hopefully we can bring back or attract newcomers in the near future

I have two questions:
Why are artillery units only 2 engines on ultra unit size? Surely this is a bug.
When are the other agent types coming? They just say "coming soon"?

On the unique cities, yes aware they are buggy. They will be a part of many fixes and updates + some new work.

My focus will be maintaining Ancient Empires, while collaborating with Classical Empires. Main reason is I don’t want to interfere with their work, and cannot fully commit time to modding. I have some unfinished business to get through with AE, with a big update this year, but beyond that I don’t want to promise anything. Glad to be back!

The unique cities map you guys created is such a great piece of work. There are other map mod in Attila, but that is still a lot of errors and haven't been fixed, but your mod don't seem to be. By any chance, are you thinking of making an another mod independent by just separating the cities maps? I think it will be quite popular.
