Hello, thanks for this great mod and thanks for the new 3.20 one as well. I myself don't like the work ethic belief and religious settlement pantheon changes, thus I want to reverse them. Everything else is fantastic. Exactly where in the game logs do I have to change th code? Just tell me where and at which row and I'll figure out the rest. Thank you. :)

Are there any further updates planned for this mod?
Since last update they have introduced the Preserve district. It is not very useful for almost all other players except the Inca, and maybe a little bit Kupe and Pedro II. For Inca its a monster.
Maybe the preserve district should allow ALL civs to work adjacent mountain tiles? That would make it much more useful in general. Inca would still make more use out of it, but not as crushingly more.

BBG and BBS crash MacOS games, while intention was good, it is basically nightmare for mac players. Always desync!

FYI, the new BBG team would like to continue on a new modID, so this one will remain as a static version based on my last push, which was 3.17.4. I may update it to fix urgent items like city-states and new civs, but if you want the new team's version which will be updated more often and will likely be widely used in the multiplayer communities, you can find it here:

@borgsheshia: The condemn feature is not popular at high levels and would likely be reverted to base game in the next update.

@Appiodici: Yes Dutch, Sumer, Hungary, Spain and Babylon would likely be adjusted

i hope guy with the new team you will rework the Dutch +1 loyalty and +1 culture for commerce that is very not useful and dont represent the dutch commerce at all that is suppose to make gold x)

to be more specific : the bouton Condemn was well highlighted, it consumes my action, there was the sound effect of the event, but nothing happened

Hi ! thank to everybody for this awesome work ! I experienced a bug : The big congress allowed me to condemn unit of a specific religion, with an award of 25 Diplomatic Favor. But when i tried, simply nothing happen : no DF, no damage. Do you think the bug come from BBG ? (like it affects the condemning process)

The full changelog does not seem up to date.
For example, it still says, that Russia only expands +2 tiles when founding a city, whereas it's back to +8. Also it does not mention that Russias +1 faith to tundra tiles is gone, which is a massive albeit a welcome change.
Thus: pls. update the full changelog for clarity.

Сейчас получается единственный вариант продолжить игру - это скачивать пиратку с нужным набором модов. В стиме она упорно пытается грузить 4.0.0, вместо 3.17.4.
И смысл тогда в лицензионных играх?

Как теперь продолжить играть в сейв, начатый в 3.17.4?
Игра пытается запускаться с 4.0.0 и выдает ошибку.
Неужели нельзя было опубликовать версию под новым отдельным именем. И оставить в свободном доступе стима версию 3.17.4.
Уже надоело начинать игры заново при апдейтах.

Hello friend,

Can you please up Holland or change his principal effect because +1 culture per trade road is very useless or a very minor bonus ... i think we can make this nation more special by giving them, i dont know something more special that is role play like a real thing for gold, for diplomatic victory (Holland is cool and relax, you know), but reeally +1 culture per trade is bullshit as fuck.

so is there, or can you make, a version with ONLY the buffs to "bad" civs? because I really like the additions to china&co, but I think it takes exactly the funs things away from the top civs, like simons +1 movement is what makes him special.. as a normal player there is nothing much he has, making him just terrible.

change is difficult for many. especially if you're really good at the game, you don't want large scale changes that threaten your status as a top player. but right now we have a sloppy solution. hopefully, we will have a more elegant way to make converting hard, yet achievable, while also retaining some degree of mutlidiensionally using military to try to defend (so religion is not the ONLY defense)

I don't understand why people don't want a religious victory to remain a possible option. It makes the game so much more multidimensional and players have to be more conscious about their religion and defend it. Giving back the option to use military units to hold off religious units would be a big step backwards.
Please let RV continue to be a realistic winning condition!!!

And we all know how well the Roman Empire prevented christianisation through crucifixions. Or how fine the catholic monarchies managed the challenges of the protestanism and reformed churches in the 16th and 17th century. Authorities couldn't stop those religious and cultural changes, especially not through violence. So why should it be that simple in a better balanced and far more strategic CIV VI Multiplayer Mod? Imho the inquisition should remain the best tool for handling religious conflicts if you are the inferior in terms of faith. The game really need RV to be possible.

Well, with all respect to your bot-game experience, imho banning the condemnation of religious units is the mod's greatest improvement to Civ's (multiplayer) balancing. Religion, at least if you want to grant it the status of a genuine win-condition, is supposed to by at least "annoying", rather than some minor irrelevancy. Military is (and continues to be) quite dominant anyway, wielding the capacity to directly (or at least indirectly) deny most other victories. Finally (!) religious conquest can no longer be stopped by simply saying"Nope!", declaring war, and lynching an army of missionaries and apostles with two scout units... Instead, it has become a viable strategy to win a game. You cannot simply ignore or beat off an aggressive neighbor that is strong in military by pushing one button - why should it be different with religion? "Keep the challenge, keep Civ balanced, keep state and church seperated!" - James Madison, or so.

Proselytizers have been slaughtered throughout history.

Make it a policy card that enables condemning at war, but with some penalty added to it, just like the one that bans Rock Bands from playing in your territory and adds a -1 amenity penalty to every city. Maybe a loyalty penalty, an amenity penalty, a culture penalty or even something combat-related.
