everytime i shoot a weapon (not on doom weapons on all of em) a RIDICULUS number of lua errors from gmdoom appears, is there any way to fix this?

the easiest way is if you have doom 2 owned you can copy the Wad and paste it in the garrysmod folder!

Sounds aren't working I placed the wad into garrysmod/ garrysmod and sounds are missing but I can see the sprites

Causes issues with G64 (The addon that ports Super Mario 64) however there's probably not too much that can be done since the last update for that addon was in like 2022.

simplified guide for smooth brains: Copy a doom wad from ultimate doom or another doom game on steam then go to the garrysmod folder and paste the doom wad in there

You wanna know something I found out a while back? If you have this addon AND Wiremod installed, the names of the DOOM entities and SNPCs are changed to their internal names. They still work, though.

@TextureNotFound probably not i think they hardcoded it to only load DOOM II entities, so anything else probably wouldn't load, like you can't play hexen or strife in this either because it just only looks for stuff like imp and super shotgun textures and not new things like the flamethrower or banshees
