Pretty slick ole' son but I got through it easy enough....good job.

If you mean "trash that cube to continue", I'll admit I use that one now and then. It always makes for interesting game play. It kind of makes the player think outside the box. Thanks for playing.

Fun map, I especially enjoyed the last large room. Ref Gloomshine's comment about dumping the cube in the goo, I kind of see it as a trademark of yours. You get us all attached to an element, then take it away. Not a criticism at all, I think it adds to the puzzle, wondering if we should try to make an efffort to keep that cube or whatever it might be. One man's opinion, anyway.

Another fun one. Thanks

haha got through the map fine :steamhappy:
Skyferret  [author] Mar 2, 2017 @ 9:48pm
Yeah, I noticed there's no white surface directly below it so I must have mistakenly left it there when building. I noclipped up to it and pressed my face against it and nothing happens. So that's probably what it is.

what was the button on the ceiling for?

Excellent map. Looking at the comments most people found it fairly easy; well, apart from the button/funnel combo in last chamber – which was nifty – it took me some time, either due to over-thinking or being plain dumb! Thank you. PS Working backwards in time through your maps, I make this 77 down, 56 to go!!

Very nice logical fun map. Thanks!

I liked the last chamber with tractor beam and cube transfer :) Good Puzzle thanks.

Suprisingly easy to figure out what to do next, and then to do it. Usually one or the other is difficult: either the brain-teasing part or the mouse calisthentics. Or both. This one, neither aspect was very tough. Nothing wrong with that, variety is good.

I tried to make that last room harder than it was. Nice comftable challenge.

You seem to have a strong affinity for funnels! This one was cake, but pretty cool with the chain button-trigger/funnel combo! Thumbs up!

Please try mine, guys:

This was a cool one. Certainly a nice break from your "heavy-thinkers" leading up to it. As always, the first room tripped me up a few times, but in this case, it was more me doing something dumb rather than being stumped.
metadavid May 2, 2013 @ 3:54am
I figured it must take quite a bit of time to put a puzzle together. Much appreciated.
Skyferret  [author] Apr 28, 2013 @ 8:50pm
Thanks. It could be anywhere between 3 or up to 5 days. Sometimes I'll come up with something in 1 evening, but then I'll spend 1 more evening testing it. And one more to polish it so the lighting looks nice. The only thing that f**ks me up is hitting the object limit. That could be a couple of days of work-arounds.

Cheers.

Awesome puzzle! How long do you spend creating them? I have been totally immersed in Gloomshine's puzzles and now yours. Portal/2 is the best game environment I have seen by far.
Skyferret  [author] Apr 14, 2013 @ 9:14pm
@Singh: hmmmm, I think you're right, I must have forgot that when I was perhaps making changes while building it.
Singh Apr 14, 2013 @ 8:55pm
Fun map.

One thing though, I think you forgot to remove a button from the ceiling by the laser field. Didn't use it - not sure what it does.

very cool ;)

Cool !!!!!!!
Skyferret  [author] Mar 25, 2013 @ 1:39pm
@gloomshine: LOL. Yes, that's one of my "you must trash that cube to continue on" type of puzzles. I do that every once in a while to throw people off :). But anyhow, glad you liked it. Thanks for playing.
gloomshine Mar 25, 2013 @ 1:19pm
Awesome design. But I wanted the cube that raised the bridges to be the one I used to complete the map. Didn't like dumping it in the acid and going to fetch another. Totally threw me off. But seriously, very nice map.
