总会有人会用到这个模组的,举几个情况:不杀动物相关的文化;在房间里用到特殊动物,比如用制冷动物做的冷库,但是不需要了又想留着动物;单纯的不想杀动物。
驱赶动物可能导致攻击,这个是有据可依的,比如最基础的家养猫狗的护食行为,那就更别提野生动物了。

I think it's pointless to assume that repelling animals will be attacked, and if I'm going to take the risk of repelling them then why don't I just kill them in the first place?

Do you have a git repository for this? I find it rather annoying that animals flee in a random direction, which is usually into my pens. Which is made worse by shooed animals suddenly magically being able to open doors, which I consider silly - it's not that hard to open doors for it if necessary.

Need a Mod for Tamed Animals... I have a zone that goes around but not inside of my base, which my tames are constricted to for important reasons.. they are serving the purpose of eating all the flammable plants... HOWEVER, they all want to go THROUGH my base instead of around... Need a blacklist Zone or something..

any chance you can make it so repeatidly shooed animials (and animals in there pack/related to thim or of the same kind) learn to stay away from your home area? or something like that..... lol.... so shooing away animals a lot will make them avoid the area they where shooed from?

1.1 update is now live! It should "just work", but if it doesn't, please let me know.

In particular, though the current version should (cross your fingers) support 1.0 and 1.1, it uses Harmony v2.0, which I've been told doesn't play nicely with previous versions of Harmony. If you're playing on 1.0 and need Harmony 1 to cooperate with an old, unupdated mod, please use the [1.0/B19] Dropbox link.

agree with the chase off map wouldnt be bad... mostly urly game when u get a bunch of cougar and all u got is tasty fat chicken

Here are two ideas about how else this could be implemented.
1. Automatically designate for shooing animals that enter your home zone, unassign shooing on leave. Maybe put shooing work into some other work category like firefighting, but this may cause weird results.
2. Let animals do it. Make it their job to defend home area from pests by chasing them off or hunting them (depending on size difference?). This can be restricted to trained animals (release?), to predators or just to more aggressive species. This one would be flavorful, useful, and would make sense, but I've no idea how hard it would be to implement.

The idea behind this mod is good, but there are two problems in practice.

Firstly, designating an animal for shooing cancels other designations (hunt / tame). I often find myself shooing critters with farmers while they wait for the hunter/tamer to deal with them permanently, so I have to manually change designations often.
Secondly, and more importantly, this stuff is all manual. You have to manually spot animals, manually assign them for shooing, manually find closest person, manually enable handling, manually make shooing a priority, manually disable handling, then manually designate the animal for hunting / taming / later shooing.

This is exactly the kind of mod I was looking for. Before when pests were eating my crops or corpses I'm waiting to haul you had to shoot at them to scare them off, which risks retaliation.. or explosions.... now I can just shoo them! Thank you :)

Shuffled my mods around, and now she's workin' fine. Not sure where the conflict was, but it's all good now. Just fyi. I could try and find the cause, but it took long enough to get it to work right. If I do i'll be back!

@crimson_fluf It should be available as a designator in the Orders menu or when you have an animal selected, similar to hunting or taming.
