This mod doesn't support multi-player. As best as I can tell it's not possible due to the way the mod works.
If I remember correctly. The Great Barrier Reef was also omitted for the same problem.
Both of these natural wonders can still show up in the usual manor via normal game play. But unfortunately you can't add them using this mod because they end up being invisible.
This is somewhat of a long shot. But you might want to try clearing the Civ5 just in case that helps...
To clear the Civ 5 cache:
Make sure you exit Civ 5.
Find the Civ 5 cache folder. It's location might vary slightly depending on what operating system you have. Mine is located at: "Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\cache".
Delete the cache folder.
Restart Civ 5 in the usual fashion. Civ 5 will automatically recreate the cache when the game starts.
You will have to re-enable any mods that you wish to use. I recommend you just use this mod by itself for the first test after clearing the cache. Then add other mods later.
You can add players using the "Add AI player" button at the bottom of the panel.
You can remove a player by clicking on the small x in the upper left corner of their panel.
The number of civs and city states are set back to their default level when you change the map type or size.
I thought they also changed when to panel reset button is clicked. But I guess it's possible I forgot to include that.
I just accidentally changed something in the Player panel just now. Specifically, I moved the 'Count' option. I don't remember what the default is, and I don't have a great understanding of how it impacts gameplay - at least in terms of actual consequences upon multiple games.
I tried using 'Reset All Panels' but unfortunately the number stayed the same.
I wasn't sure how to track down relevant information, taking into account the mod detail vs vanilla, etc. So, I figured it was probably best to just ask the person who had made the mod.
So yeah - what was the original value of the setting in the mod?
You could try validating the game files in Steam.
If that doesn't help. You could try clearing the Civ 5 cache...

You could also just give yourself a bunch of money and then buy the settlers after you build your first city.

It is located in the config.ini file. Which is located at: "Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5"
My NewText folder contains one folder with a lot of stuff in it -> "EN_US". And two files -> "CIV5Credits_EN_US.txt" and "English.xml".
As far as the error file goes. It's been a long time since I messed with Civ5 modding. So, I probably won't be much help. But if you want to paste some of the errors here. I'll see if they make any sense to me. Maybe you could post some errors from the beginning of the file. And another post with errors from the end of the file.
The only thing I can think of is... There is an option in this mod to disable research (it's under the game tab). It uses an in-game feature that is somewhat buggy. Did you have it enabled at the time?
Are you using exactly the same group of mods on both computers? If not, maybe there is a mod conflict on the one computer?
You have already tried all of the things I would have tried. The only other thing I can think of would be to clear the saved data for the mod. It's kind of a long shot but it might help.
To clear the mod's save data. Exit the game. Go to the folder - "Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\ModUserData". And delete the file GTAS_AdvancedSetupMod-15.db. The file will be rebuilt the next time you open the mod in game and then exit. This will reset all mod settings back to their default. And fix any problems with a corrupt file.
Like I said. This is somewhat of a long shot. But you might want to give it a try. And I'll try testing the problem next time I start the game. I report back here with what I found.
I have validated game files in Steam and cleared game cache. I ran the game without the mod and had no issues, but tried again with the mod and the issue happens. I tried changing the game resolutions through video options and tried each resolution and refresh rate, but still had the same issue with the mod, and without the mod the pop-up notifications appear as normal. I also tried unsubscribing and re-subscribing.
Any thoughts?

Unfortunately either way. I probably wouldn't be able to reduce mountain generation without making my mod conflict with a bunch of other mods that are doing similar things. So it would probably be better to do something like that separately.
