I saw you mentioned the defunct reddit "Fat People Hate" subreddit, fortunately there's a alternative with plenty of fat hate content on 4channel's /fit/ if you want to migrate there.

But yeah it's annoying hearing peopel go "muh genetics", "muh metabolism", "muh PCOS" and other garbage when they're actively scarfing down 5000 calories worth of icecream and snacks a day.

In regards to mega fauna extinctions, it seems it's more of an open debate than I was lead to believe. However, I would caution against using a report that was published less than a month ago as there hasn't be sufficient time for truly independent experts to review the paper. Furthermore, the report reviews too few species to be conclusive and is tied to the geographic region that is the least likely to host humans in large numbers.

The specific chain of extinctions that is often used as evidence for the human driven model is: Australia 46,000 years ago, Tasmania 41,000 years ago, Japan 30,000 years ago, North America 13,000 years ago, South America 12,500 years ago. I've attached a study from 2009 that reviews North America specifically.

Vevut that's a lost cause. They don't really care about anything, they're just milking the franchise they had no part in building. SamBC has been on their payroll for ages, he's not going away.
