This is a pretty cool map! My only suggestion [if even possible given the game's coding] would be to make the barbed wire only hurt when you move on it, not just each second you're in contact with it.

also I played this and people still have issue with performance (and in some instances crashing).

Noticed that RED can still return to their first spawn from the basement enterance, after 2nd and 3rd are capped.

This map is such a labor of love. It's a crime it hasn't been added yet.

When I saw that overgrown was in the Summer update I was confused because I thought it was already in the game. Apparently this isn't in either. I only ever play casual. I have no idea was is going on.

i hope this map gets added next summer update cuz i love the ww2 aesthetics of it and the payload cart is an awesome badass tank, tbh crash most of your maps are great they all deserve a chance to be added to tf2 imo.

Fps could be better in some spots, there's always room for improvement, but this map is a challenge in that regard. Yes, I have playtested the map extensively, likely hundreds of times at this point.

RC2 Changelog:

-Dramatically improved optimization on the map
-THEORETICALLY fixed the mat_phong 0 crashing bug, if anyone can confirm this for sure, that would be great! I'm fairly certain this is solved, though!
-Reduced the compressed filesize by 40mb
-Fixed or removed a number of buggy props
-Fixed a number of minor and major clipping issues and exploits
-Fixed a large number of minor visual bugs (thanks for all the feedback!)
-Adjusted lighting to brighten up some dark areas

Not sure why but my game crashes after about 10-20 seconds every time I join this map

It's a known issue, I just haven't dedicated the time to sorting out the problems on it, sorry!

This map was totally unplayable on my old computer even though most maps play just fine. Even maps notorious for performance issues like Wutville and Breadspace never gave me such low frame rates so consistently. On my new computer, which is an actual gaming computer with a decent GFX card, it performs perfectly fine. Doesn't even have the broken magenta checkerboard texture on the horse statue. It's a gorgeous map and really fun to play on when my movement isn't so janky, but I know the issues I had with it before were not exclusive to me and my PC and that's why it rarely gets played on servers that have it.

I never updated it, so it is an unauthorized fix which I would expect to be broken

Just got a chance to play a newer version of this map labeled “fix-1”. Unfortunately not much has changed. Performance is still extremely bad, especially outdoors. And that horse fountain at last still has broken textures.
