It's not about stability, but a lower pop cap variant for less units. Unless that somehow doesn't apply to AI, but then this would be pointless..

Try the low zoom options, we have not had any major issues with stability since relic moved to the 64bit version of coh2.

@Leyden - this doesnt work with Wikinger - the Wikinger version is built into the main win condition pack that we put out. This gives all the conquest functionality but without the tech trees etc, thats why this works with spearhead and vanilla etc.

Why isn't this working with the actual Wikinger Mod? When choosing the 125PC WC variant, it just goes straight to Vanilla :/ It works with Spearhead though....

Hi, go to the modding hub inside of COH2 and refresh there. if you're subscribed, it will work.

If you need to manually download the file you can search on google "steam workshop downloader" from there you can do it.

ah no nevermind, I was thinking of an earlier version of the mod where I had left the fuel and munition points in the game. The only thing you can do is set the OKW up in the home base.

What do you mean by normal territory points? I don't believe there are ammo/fuel points, as everything is counted as a victory point.

I could definitely be wrong though.

Hi Adrien - the thing is this is a game mode mod, the part you need to change is in the tuning pack. I could make the change in the game mode but it would run the risk of breaking every mod that it is played in conjunction with. Can you put the trucks down on fuel or ammo points? It only replaces normal territory points, it leaves the fuel/muni points as vanilla.

Hey, thanks for responding. Where are the instructions for changing this setting? I certainly would like to have an OKW compatible version of the mod.

Is it possible that you could perhaps release a second version of the mod, or another variant of it in the options menu that allows OKW to build wherever? If not that's okay.

Anyways, this mod is great, and anything helps.

@Adrien - it is noted in the description of the mod.

Conquest is designed to work with the base game and most mods.

There is one known issue where the OKW sWS trucks are not able to set up on objective point sectors, if you are a modder and want to maximize compatibility with Conquest mode you will need to remove this requirement for the OKW sWS trucks to be able to set up in all territories: required_not / required_sector_type / sector_type_victory

The instructions are there on how to correct it for modders but it just means that they will need to be set up in the base for vanilla. Hope it doesn't ruin your game experience.

OKW appears to be broken with this gamemode. I was unable to build any forward bases w/ my half tracks, as EVERY point is a victory point

i prefer the High zoom tuning pack hight. why not just set it highest. and stop forcing me to use your mod that i dont prefer

Foxi - try the version that is built into wikinger - that may be more of your liking. This is the same zoom levels as BK Mod II win condition pack.

Urban Banner - not at this stage, I have looked into it and have some options but it’s a far bit of coding.

Could it be possible to have the captured points / diamonds to form a row of same colors for easier read or perhaps even show your captures as numbers, so you could see in a quick glance if you are winning / tying / losing to your enemy?

Other than that a really rocking and fun mode! I haven't had any issues with it, at least not in it's most "vanilla" / low settings.

Each new pop cap would be a new mode, there is 100pop cap on standard mode and 250 on the one with the high zoom. I can make that one with 125 pop cap. I will roll out an update after I finish the next Wikinger patch with the pop cap and 2x resource modes.

Any other suggestions and/or improvements?

@spykitty358 - Janne252 isn't that active in the modding community anymore, there's a lot of code that goes into his cheat commands mod - it would be far easier for him to accommodate this mod than the other way round.

it would be so cool if you can get together with the creator of this mod and make this mode work with cheats, i feel like inf resources and choice of command ability for all slots with this mode will be a dream come true for me. i feel like VP is to basic. @mono - I've tested it, there's no fatal scar error in "Conquest by Wikinger" but you will definitely get on if you apply any of the "Wikinger: European Theater of War" win conditions to anything but the wikinger tuning pack.

I've added you on steam, happy to troubleshoot further with you if needed.

Those custom UI pieces don’t show up in conquest for Wikinger. They’ve been in the Wikinger WCP since 2016 and yes they do show over the top of the tactical map but there’s not a lot we can do about it for now.
