(Updated blueprint fixes color and the mod is no longer required)
Thanks for considering it, anyway.
I want to stress that I am not trying to shoot you down and if you feel the want to create the best but hardest thing to do is to just throw yourself at the wall and try, even if you don't have someone around to help. I am honestly flattered that you want to work with me on this but for now it's a solo project simply due to having random bursts of work ethic.
I may not be quite as skilled as you are, but I'll learn.
And before long, we'll be saying it together!
THUNDERBIRDS ARE GO!...ing into Space! (Engineers.)
(And if you catch the reference to a specific episode, feel free to mention it in your reply.)
I did equip this model with one pod however. Not too accurate to the show but more of a proof of concept. It does self assemble with minimal setup but to be honest just getting that to work was a pain with my size constraints.
Not to say I don't want to. My eventual plan is to torture myself and make a full Tracy island style launch setup with all Thunderbirds. This will probably include pods. No timeline or ETA since i'm basically fighting the grid style building system to even make these curvy boys and it's basically whenever I can bully myself to get this done.
I am also planning on redoing the shaping of this one now that we can put windows on small ships without mods and I'll try to remove the hinges as well to make it full vanilla
Very impressive, reminds me of the new Thunderbirds Are Go version.
I was wondering if we could maybe get show-accurate Modules and Pod vehicles? Usually Module 2 is the multipurpose Pod, carrying the assembly system.
For the benefit of those not familiar with the TBAG series:
Module 1 is fire-fighting equipment.
Module 3 is the electromagnetic grappling claw (could be simulated using landing gear)
Module 4 carries Thunderbird 4, along with additional grappling arms and seats.
Module 5 carries extra fuel and other liquids.
Module 6 is the Space Module.
The various pods are:
The Mole Pod (would have to be equipped with a large bank of drills instead of the single drill it uses in the show)
The Bulldozer (Might be possible, don't know because normally, piston+rotor=boom)
The Elevator Pods (Comes in Master Elevator Car and Remote Elevator Car variants)
Pod Explorer (Space variant)
The Gecko Pod
Foam Stabilization Pod
Cargo Pod
I'll probably release it alongside my Thunderbird 1 as soon as I get around to actually finishing the cockpit.
but its sad that pink textures are making me crash rapidly ;(
but the game still does that
Any way bit of a text wall but here is a link to using the mods correctly if you need it: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=296249959
