I'd say Alarielle's problem is just her face textures but Hellebron is a total grandma with wrinkled skin so that's pretty much every part of her that isn't covered by armor. Also, thanks again for making such a great mod and for taking the time to look into these!

I didn't have any plan to check out the texture of Hellebron or Alarielle, though when I find time I can see how the texture actually looks. Hardest part at Morathy was just cleaning her hands and feet. I think Hellebron and Alarielle won't have this issues.

And also maybe Alarielle too? After starting a high elf campaign wiith her, I think it's safe to say that calling her "The Radiant" might be a bit of a stretch with her current model.

I made a unit mod called Bananas Nasty Surprise and one of the units uses this mods texture (which I painted over) and rigid model for the body. I hope you don't mind too much.

I would`ve kept her feet dirty though, running around barefeet won`t keep them clean. Nice mod, downloading.

No idea about photoshop, but here a guide on steam about dds in gimp:

That's what I did, but in photoshop, the textures come up black, and with gimp, I recieve an "Invalid compression format" message.

Hi, simply use the the "Pack File Manager" and look in which package the texture is you desire to edit. After you extract them you get a bunch of .dds files.

diffuse - the color of the texture
specular - the light reflections of the texture
normal - the depth (shadows and stuff) which the texture throws

To edit them I simply use gimp with a dds plugin. Then I open the dds file, edit it and export it as dds file once again.
You also don't need to edit every size of the texture in the dds file, just take the biggest one. If you export it as dds again, the tool you use should ask you if it should create the smaller textures on itself.

The hat is part of the mesh and editing mesh/model for Total War is a beast in itself. It might be possible to remove it and add the hair and crown of a death hag to her, but for that you still need to be able to repack the mesh/model into the proper format again.

So far I read that only 3ds max has the a plugin provided by CA to repack the mesh/model. 3ds max costs 150€ a month though... further more it is quite a lot of work to edit a mesh... especially if you are not a professional 3d artist.

So you probably won't see a mesh edit from me, due to the lack of tools to put everything into the game again.
