Setting for being able to tame Corrupted Wyverns & Alpha Crystal Wyverns doesnt seem to be working, they always say not tamable. Anyone have any fix?

Mod seems to break rock drakes and prevent them from climbing.
Causes them to climb the air, fold on themselves and teleport around the map.

Current tames will be affected as well... Check out the guide to learn more, there are some caveats in that regard...

Question, is this like classic flyers, which means any flyers currently owned won't be changed and only new tamed flyers will be upgradable? Classic flyers makes all flyers into modded versions with upgradable speed stats, is this like this? Or will current tames be changed aswell?

oh, before i forget there's some oddity with tek quetzals - imported ones don't display their colours and show as completely default, only SF type display as they should so had to turn off conversion

probably would be a pain to sort it out in the appropriate way, the mod referenced is https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2375750097 and it's pretty barebones in effectively going 'this buff sets dino's speed to (wild levels * [config speed %])' and does not apply to unspecified boss mobs (alphas maybe?) but does completely destroy base additive tame speed (poor ankylo) and imprint speed due to being a set rather than an add

that said it's surprising the best that's available in mods tends to be stat redistribution (i.e. inflate hp/melee even harder) rather than speed levels increasing speed and perhaps even oxygen increasing stamina regen like the myth that it did of old/food relative to base increasing regeneration rate and things like that

maybe a pipe dream but for all the wondrous things mods do in fixing wc's wonky gamedesign, 'speed levels matter' is something i've been on the lookout for for ages and that mod is.. close

Though I see what you mean now... that would be a huge undertaking and may even prove impossible to pull off the way I implemented the speed stat in the mod. My mod only affects the speed stat after being tamed

RedistWastedSpeedPoints = boolean value, default is False. If set to True, all Flyers will get their untamed points that were applied to their speed stat (and hence be useless) redistributed over the health, stamina, weight and melee damage stats first and alternatively (when those stats are filled up) put into the food and oxygen stats. Make sure you know that this is what you really want for your flyers before you apply this setting, because once the untamed speed stat points are redistributed like this the change cannot be undone!

bit of an addendum to the below, i came across a mod made by a beginner that's not implemented in the best way that makes wild speed levels actually work on dinos rather than doing what wc did and having them give flyers massive hp/stam/weight rather than any speed, but combined with this mod, they both seem to be trying to set speed level outright and neither work together

if ever get back into developing this mod having an 'add x % speed per wild speed level' option would be nice, kind of sad so few mods ever do that since potentially fast wild dinos really punts the whole 'spam points in movement speed and then you're good' shtick and seems fitting for a flyer speed mod

huh, wonder how i missed that, i looked over that pastebin a lot

two other bits, if there's only downsides to the non-base classmap SF type and everything works on imported (re: base classmap type) in regards to breeding/swapping out flyer mods and such, shouldn't the conversion on tame + imported offspring configs be default? or is there something more to it, guide just implies it's for spawn wonkiness but otherwise it's just a sudden brickwall to run into in regarding breeding

+ while would like to use RedistWastedSpeedPoints it feels a bit lopsided if only flyer types get massive wild stat advantages, is it only able to be done with the classes the mod is creating/screwing with or is that something that in the future could be a global option? always a smidge ironic when mods redist wasted speed --> oxygen but..

Hi,

I have a little problem with 2 Engrams that I don't see in games.
This is the saddle of Snow Owl and the Rock Drake

I'm on the Fjordur map and use an S+ mod config to add engrams from other maps

I use an engram system or I specify all engram entries myself (bOnlyAllowSpecifiedEngrams=true)

Here are my two entries:
OverrideNamedEngramEntries=(EngramClassName="EngramEntry_OwlSaddle_C",EngramLevelRequirement=95,EngramPointsCost=62,EngramHidden=False,RemoveEngramPreReq=False)
OverrideNamedEngramEntries=(EngramClassName="EngramEntry_ShadowDrakeSaddle_C",EngramLevelRequirement=117,EngramPointsCost=56,EngramHidden=False,RemoveEngramPreReq=False)

I looked in the mod documentation and in the files but I don't see a replacement like for the Tek saddle of the Rock Drake

Has anyone had this problem before?

Experiencing some difficulty atm regarding hardware on my development PC and regarding accessing Discord (which is why I cannot read any comments let alone reply them on there)... Currently I have no ETA on when I will be able to resolve those problems, largely because of a very busy irl schedule. Sorry I don't have any better news regarding the expansion/update of the mod currently.

Nope, although depending on how the other mod set up the naming for the wyverns you may be able to override th SpeedyFlyers in the spawners in your Game.ini? See online for how to do stuff like that

Is there a way to turn this off for certain creatures because I got a better wyverns mod and this mod is overriding it so I wanted to turn off the wyverns but keep the other creatures.

Hey Naj made the switch to this mod from "the other one" and I'm impressed with what you have done, awesome work. With that said are there any plans to add the Gen2 flyers? (R-variant - owl, quetz + void wyrm).

if this really fixes the over spawn issue then it makes a spot on my servers. the built in allow flyer levelling is selective. so far its not made 70 wyverns spawn in trenches 🤣

It makes my game crash on load. It's the only mod I have active, trying to open my own closed/single player world. It just crashes before entering.

Make sure both the client and server are running the latest version. To make sure this is the case you may have to remove old versions from the 'staging' and 'workshop' directories before you try again... steam does not always play nice with workshop content

Adding this mod to my server gives me a "Please ensure the server you are attempting to join is running the latest version of all Mod content". The server works fine when this mod is removed. Any fix?

after I set OffspringSForImported=Imported
ForceConvertSFToImported=True, my new rock drake can mate(with little heart above their heads) , but there is no egg after mating.

Refreshing Rock Drake nest eggs:

The vanilla command to destroy all naturally spawned Rock Drake eggs doesn't seem to work (I get an error message saying something about it not being "bExactMatch" or something close to that).

This is the command, is there an equivalent for the SF mod?

Hello, I am having trouble with leveling argents. I copied the ini settings from https://pastebin.com/3DFpUKBq and set the argent overridedefaultspeedmodifer to true then increased the speed stat multiplier to 2.0 and argents level only goes up by one. Any help?
