With 1100 hours logged on this damned game I was somewhat frustrated by this test. However, the elation upon completion more than made up for it. Thank you :)
I'll be happy to try your chamber.
Franken-Logic Puzzle
Although it's complex, it's linear enough that the player can get in and start accomplishing things right away -- small, individual clever puzzles -- without having to study and figure out the entire big picture.
Also, at the heart of a lot of adventure games is accomplishing small successful maneuvers that allow you to enter one more new room, and then another. (Hmm, if I build another level, I may try for that as a theme.) Your level had some of that feeling too.
If you'd like to check out another of my #F4F levels, you might have some fun with Franken-Logic Puzzle
It's pretty short (just one room) and designed to have a bit of a handmade "clunky" feel to it
Ockham's Razor is the theory put fourth that says, "All things being equal, the simplest explaination tends to be the right one." It really doesn't have anything to do with this chamber however. I was naming my chambers alphabetically so I'd know which one's were which. This happened to be an "O" chamber. When I hit "Y and Z" I started over with "A" but using titles of novels that I've read.
#F4F Try one of mine when you get time.
@stan_hogg Your way was correct. You didn't miss anything.
