Spent way too long trying to angle the cube, I knew it wasn't the intended solution, but I have a cheeser's soul. :P Still not sure if it's possible, I always had it close, but not quite.

Took some time to figure out how to get the needed portals for the intended solution, very clever.

I love little maps with few element that look simple but are tricky. I will look your workshop for more!

one of my favorites, thank you for sharing!

It took me an embarrassingly long time to solve this chamber, but it felt so amazing when I did it.
I definitely will check more of your chambers!

The level is a bit spacious considering it uses a fairly small number of puzzle elements, but they're used to great effect. Liked and faved!

Very nice!

Excellent map
Snoitulover 4 jun, 2018 @ 20:13
Perfect map. I did break it by setting the cube just so on the upperstairs but that was a cheesy solution and not intended. Faved!

great map!!

Great great map Azorae

Great map! And excellent warmup to "Pinpoint advanced". Hint: keep the cube in the chamber with the glass ceiling, even to lower and raise the elevator.
zigzagtenniscoe 12 aug, 2015 @ 13:41
Amazing map! This reminds me of one of Demon Arisen's maps (can't remember which) . But the concept used is pretty neat and I can see why it's called "Pinpoint"! Took me about 10 minutes to find the intended solution. Thanks for another great map :)

Nice puzzle Azorae!! Quality stuff, the kind that forces the player to stop and think and plan ahead. Between you and Mevious and LoneWolf and others, we are getting the very best maps to play. Thank you guys for your tremendous work.
Richard L 11 apr, 2015 @ 10:33
I did manage to balance the cube on the upper stair and open the door.
akross.cs 23 mar, 2015 @ 8:53
soo cool
Petutski 14 mar, 2015 @ 12:57
Excellent! Very tricky but ultimately clearly logical. Great fun, thanks!
Chelliste 6 okt, 2014 @ 17:08
I thought I had found an exploit, by balancing the cube on the angled stairs in the top level. But no matter what I did, I couldn't get the beam to stay steady on the receptor for more than a second. The cube would settle slightly when I released it and the beam would end up a couple inches away from the receptor. Seemed like I could make it happen if I tried long enough, but it was getting frustrating and the intended solution was easier!

A very smart puzzle. Thanks for the clues, other players!

This one is very good! It took me quite a while to figure out.
7uk454n 11 apr, 2014 @ 8:11
this was a very interesting map i found a few weird possibilities in it when i finally figured out what i was supposed to do by leaving the cube in the glass room i stopped the nonsense and figured out how to create the final link. this map took me a little while
ken.roberts 19 feb, 2014 @ 1:35
Masterful. Why? Because this map gave me fits - while all the while the solution was a piece of cake. 1 of every 10 maps has an "ahaaa" moment and I search for those. This had the "ahaaa" moment for me.
wildgoosespeeder 5 dec, 2013 @ 12:40
Now that I think about it, I think you should try to create a demo/training room, if possible.

Had to look at a solution video by KennKong. I've never seen that done before quite like that so I didn't think to do that. I knew what needed to get done to activate the door, but getting there I couldn't quite get working right. I was in the ballpark, but not quite. I always overlook details like that. Great puzzle.

Love it, wish I could think up something like this :)

Brilliant work.
Geneosis 5 jul, 2013 @ 11:07
Another clever laser map ^^ Took me a moment to figure out, but the solution was not too hard in the end ;)

Hints for those who are stuck

1 - You will need to bring the cube to the lower floor in order to correctly solve the puzzle (after you set everything up where it needs to be, you can always bring it back)

2 - Think about which portal you move when you want to raise the lift while standing on it. It doesn't make sense to keep the portal across from the laser beam as you can always re-apply that portal from above

3 - Use context. Why did the builder decide to use glass?

Brilliant chamber. I knew what I had to do right away. But how to do it took some thinking. The end solution (but not necessarily the work that leads up to it) is very simple and doesn't involve any crazy laser angles.
Diego 27 mar, 2013 @ 16:52
Great Map.
Almisuifre 18 jan, 2013 @ 2:11
Brillant, a pleasure to do !
KennKong 5 dec, 2012 @ 13:30
Something tells me this could be done in fewer portals, even without my misfires.

Decent map, but a little too easy... way to keep simple though
mo3b3tta 17 nov, 2012 @ 19:11
Very cleaver. I really enjoy a good challenge. Keep up the good work. I like the turret idea. I love playing with them. I create my first map with tons of turrets and jump gel, cuz I like watching them bounce around. Great job on your puzzle, I just subcribed to your channle.
TheGlecter 17 nov, 2012 @ 17:31
Awesome! This is probably the first non-Mevious thing that has blown my mind!
I'll definitely be checking out your other work... :)
esmo 12 nov, 2012 @ 7:48
nice but needs turrets, lots of turrets. cheers
LPChip 11 nov, 2012 @ 9:40
Great map. I did see what I had to do, but somehow failed to see how to set my portals. It was not until I read Columbus's comment with spoiler that I got the AHA moment.
Stalker 8 nov, 2012 @ 12:27
Simple, but brilliant :)
Innocentive 29 okt, 2012 @ 9:44
Brilliant puzzle ... compared to your other chambers I consider this one to be more on the easy side. Still, it's so nice to quickly get a grasp of what you need to do but somehow being unable to do it ... until you force your brain to make that one more connection than usually necessary. And that's what makes all your tests so special! Thanks!
