  2. Added wolf spirit idea to Turkey.

A little update adding starting ideas to both Byzantium and Turkey that boost their AI aggression a bit.

  1. Moved Turk Opposition idea from Focus to Decision.
  2. Added Greek version for Turkey.
  3. Added weaker level opp ideas for removal phases.
  4. Moved Ban Communism focus.
  5. Added some focus driven news events.

Moved the opposition ideas from focuses to decisions because I think they fit better there. Added some more news events. I really should be adding a lot more of them.

  1. Version 3 of the Turkey Focus Tree.
  2. Added core/war focuses and event chains.
  3. More cleanup.

Finished moving the core/war decisions back into the focus tree. Still may need some tweaking and this was a bit of a rush job so apologies for bugs and if saves are broken. Next up will be another pass on the Byz focus tree. Thinking about adding one more focus and want to make sure I'm not leaving too much on the table.

Version 3 should make Turkey more aggressive but hopefully not too agressive.

  1. Fixed news event.
  2. Changed Turkey focus tree.
  3. Changed 2D techs from England to Poland for GRE.
  4. Changed 2D techs from nothing to France for TUR.

Tired of the commonwealth so changed to western european for default models. Left Turkey as eastern european. Since my model plans are not working out the best I can change are the 2d pics. Not a big deal with all the reskins out there but still was hoping to make uniques.

Changed Turkey's tech tree to something I like more. Was going to put claims in Decisions but could not properly prep the AI like you can with focuses. So the Turkey tree is claimless until I get them put back in.

Why go through all the trouble of creating those events if I don't have the focuses pointing to the right ones.

Received permission from pompelmo to use his Star and Crescent mod. Be warned that this is a very messy add on my part. Changing the minimum to make it compatable. Yes I know Turkey's tree is mostly Poland's. I needed a base to build on and pompelmo's mod is an excellent one. Sorry if its a buggy mix. Will cleanup and tweak more. Was tired of Turkey being so boring so want to spice it up.

Once I get Turkey working smoothly I think my next step will be models. I'm tired of the commonwealth and eastern europe models. Hopefully I'm up to the task.

Oh and if anyone has division nickname ideas for Turkey or the Byz please post them.

  1. Added decisions for claims to cores.
  2. Redid oob's for Greece and Turkey to make them use 1.5's division namelists.
  3. Minor, "why did I do that," fixes.

The claims to cores decisions require the associated focus to be completed before they will appear. Not settled on the costs yet. Some should probably be higher and some should be lower. Lined up the army with the new 1.5 namelists but still not happy with the mountaineers. Still thinking about making a mixed mountain/regular infantry division but that might be a huge nerf in combat. Not to mention the cap which basically won't let you make any more mountain divisions. Going to have to think on the options there.

Oops, forgot to add, I am not using the Byzantine division name list added with WTT. I just don't like them. Its great Paradox added them but they feel more suited to a "never fell" mod than a "reborn" mod.

  2. Updated to be compatible with Waking the Tiger.
  3. Fixed text in Liberate/Puppet events.

This is an ugly, fewest changes needed, to make this mod compatible with 1.5 and Waking the Tiger. Going to have to do some thinking about how I want to use the options added with 1.5.

Wow that was dumb of me. Somehow completely missed it during testing.

  1. Fixed template name in varangian focus.
  2. Changed country name a little to see how it looks.
  3. Bumped population of Turkey.

More cleanup. Mostly cleaning up event bloat and better sorting the localization. I do not know any languages besides english well enough to make localizations for them. Pretty happy with the focus tree so I think its time to make one for Turkey.

  1. Localization improvements.
  2. Event bloat cleanup.
  3. Fixed effect errors in two ideas.
