- Moved sWS Halftrack from Regimental Support building to HQ.

- Reduced the size of Volksgrenadier platoon HQ teams (Zug Trupp) by one rifleman.

Soviets
----------

- Increased post-firing time for T-70 to 4 seconds and aiming time to 4 seconds at close range and 8 seconds at long range. Increased reloading and ammo switching times to 12 seconds.*

Designer Notes
---------------------

* The idea, naturally, is to give the abilities more usefulness late game.

** As has been stated previously, the T-70 had a crew of two, with the commander functioning as gunner and loader, in addition to directing the driver and looking out for targets. That's a lot of work for one person and the reason why 1-man turrets suck. On a side note, the French Char B1 had a one-man turret as well and the vehicle's 47mm gun had a practical rate of fire of 2-3 rpm, a bit worse than the T-70.

- M3 Scout Cars now have the ability to camouflage themselves after reaching level 1 vet.

- Replaced the M2 4.2-Inch Mortar Emplacement with a 4.2-Inch Mortar Team (the mortar itself uses the Soviet 120mm HM-38 as a stand-in).

- M3 Scout Cars now have the ability to camouflage themselves after reaching level 1 vet.

- Universal and Scout Carriers now have the ability to camouflage themselves after reaching level 1 vet.

Germans (Ostfront / Wehr)

- Tank Hunter teams moved from Heavy Company Support to Regimental Support.

Germans (Westfront / OKW)
--------------------------------------

- Added Smoke Grenade ability to 'Nachtjager' Gruppe. In addition, the squad now deploys in a specialized Sd.Kfz. 251 Halftrack and squad size has been reduced from 8 to 6.*

- Added a defensive MG toggle ability to the Jagdpanzer 38(t). Note that this will disable the 7.5cm PaK 39 when active.

- Deployment of 'Nachtjager' squads and other infrared-equppied units now restricted to Special Operations Doctrine.

- Fixed Grenade Assault ability for 'Nachtjager' Gruppe. In addition, a timed ability has been added to allow the squad to detect cammo'd enemy units out to the squad's normal sight range. Previously this was treated as being "always on".**

- IR-equipped Panthers are now capped at 3 vehicles.***

- Jagdpanzer 38(t) and Flammpanzer 38(t) now count as light tanks when destroyed.

- Replaced Grand Offensive Doctrine's 'Nachtjager' Gruppe call-in with a Fallschirmjäger Gruppe paradrop.****

- Sd.Kfz. 251/17 AA Halftracks now require 2 Command Points to deploy.

- Tank Hunter teams (Volks included) moved from Heavy Company Support to Regimental Support.

Soviets
----------

- M3 Scout Cars now have the ability to camouflage themselves after reaching level 1 vet.

Designer Notes
---------------------

* To help support IR-equipped Panthers, another variant of the Sd.Kfz. 251 was introduced. Known by the code name 'Falke' (Falcon), this vehicle was equipped with 30cm IR searchlights and matching spotting scopes for the driver and the forward MG 42. Powering the equipment necessitated the use of a seperate electric generator and additional batteries mounted to the right side wall of the troop compartment, which required the removal of some seating. That said, only 6 Panzergrenadiers and their gear could be carried.

** The ZG 1229 Vampir 1229 IR system, while quite useful, was very primitive: The two batteries used to power the IR light and the image converter / rangefinder gave about 15 minutes of continuous use. Although there's no official, surviving documentation that describes or dictates operational use, it would be reasonable to assume that troops using 'Vampir' modded StG 44's more than likely only activated the system as needed. Hence the timed ability.

*** A single IR "Panther" platoon would have actually had 2 IR-equipped tanks (yes, the equipment was THAT rare). However, the platoon was directed by an HQ section - comprised of another IR Panther commanded by a Hauptman (Captain) and an Sd.Kfz. 251/20 'Uhu' halftrack to provide long range illumination and identification.

**** The idea behind this is that the availability of IR-equipped units should be extremely rare...because they were.

Germans (Ostfront / Wehr)
------------------------------------

- Changes to Strategic Reserves Doctrine. Breakthrough Equipment now unlocks Sturmpioneer Gruppen (Assault Pioneer squads) which are available as a Regimental Support option at 2 CP's and also unlocks K43 rifles for regular infantry. The "vanilla" Mobile Observation Post unlock has been changed to a Reconnaissance Overflight ability. Finally, a passive unlock for Divisional / Corps level Panzer IV Ausf. J tanks has been worked in: This replaces any and all Divisional-level Panzer IV Ausf. H and Panther tanks and gives Grenadierkompanie the ability to field medium tanks late game if desired.

- Jager squads may no longer deploy from buildings.*

- Panzerkompanie players can now choose beteen fielding Panzerwerfers or Sd.Kfz. 250/5 Artillery Observation Halftracks.

- Sd.Kfz. 234 Armored Cars can now Prioritize Fire.

Germans (Westfront / OKW)

- Sd.Kfz. 234 Armored Cars can now Prioritize Fire.

Designer Notes
---------------------

* I feel this feature is more deserving of say command / spec ops units than special assault troops.

- 8.8cm PaK 43 Emplacements now have the ability to switch between AP and HE rounds. When firing HE, the shots are treated as artillery.***

- Increased the effective range of Raketenwerfers to 150m.

Designer Notes
---------------------

* Since the overall buff to weapon ranges, this is no longer necessary.

** With their longer barrels and more powerful ammunition, these weapons had considerably better reach than their lighter 20mm siblings.

*** Although primarily employed as a heavy AT gun, the 8.8cm PaK 43 was intended to serve as a dual-role weapon. As such, I felt this change makes sense. This also has the added benefit of allowing the weapon to be more useful late game by giving players the ability to shell enemy positions if tanks are absent.
