- add VLAD and double SH-3H's sonobuoy amount
- re-add SH-3H to later nimitz class ships, but remove A-7E to compensate
- slight buff to BPDMS RIM-7E
- new textures for Mk48 (mod 4), Mk46 (mod 2), Mk46 mod 5 NEARTIP
- remove VDS from knox (1989) and move SQR-18 to the VDS winch
- add Mk182 and Mk186 SRBOC and TORCH combined countermeasures to late 80s ships, slightly better than generic chaff
- add SeaGnat Mk214 chaff, Mk216 chaff, and Mk245 GIANT flare combined countermeasures for 00s ships, somewhat better than improved Mk182 SRBOC
- rebalance SPS-48 and SPS-48C to have lower minimum altitudes to detect higher-flying seaskimming missiles
- rebalance Mk92 FCS to have 1 weapon channel instead of 8(??? devs why did you do this)
- remove duplicate colliders from iowa classes
- rebalance 40mm, more reasonable performance and no longer literally useless
- tweak a couple earlier AIM-7s minimum altitude

bugfixes and stat adjustments
- further decrease range and bearing accuracy of passive buoys, in some cases by a factor of 2-3 times
- greatly reduce angular accuracy of LOFAR buoys, these are now only capable of precise positional tracking via triangulation
- somewhat increase DIFAR sensitivity, ease improvements from version to version to be smaller and more subtle given many upgrades did not significantly improve actual acoustic performance
- slightly reduce VLAD sensitivity, bring its accuracy in line with equivalent generation DIFAR buoys
- fix FLIR sensors having no night vision bonus
- fix radar angles on APS-137 on ES-3A
- AGM-86B CALCM now has higher agility to actually follow terrain
- flight 3 LA class submarine has fixed textures for specific variants now, no more bow plane shadows on the mast

bugfixes patch:
- make sonobuoys less accurate in range and bearing
- increase gain of active/passive torpedoes so they can properly acquire targets even through a thermal layer
- add USS Mahan DDG-42 with her full NTU fit to both the base game early 80s coontz class, and the 1989 coontz class

ASW tweaks
- P-3C increased sonobuoy amount to 87, default loadout is now 72 DIFAR, 10 DICASS, 5 VLAD
- S-3A removed harpoon, default loadout is now 47 DIFAR, 9 DICASS, 6 VLAD
- SH-2F family now has hunter/killer loadouts, hunter has droptanks and VLAD, killer has best torpedo available at the time
- added 1989 SH-2F with later ASW equipment, represents the gulf war modification with FLIR and chaff, added to all 1989 ships with helos
