Balance Update

Balance Changes:
  • Complete rework to how execution animation outcome is determined: it now takes into account enemy armor and melee weapon penetration, as well as melee skill and other factors.
  • Adjusted line of sight algorithm to prevent pulling pawns through cover such as sandbags or embrasures. Can be adjusted in mod settings.
  • When right clicking on an enemy to execute, you can now see the percentage chance to kill, down or execute.
  • Both the Down and Kill outcomes can only happen if there is sufficient melee weapon armor penetration compared to the armor the enemy is wearing (currently only Chest armor is taken into account, as well as skin/hediff/race armor bonuses).
  • The Injure outcome no longer ignores armor. It now attempts to deal 30 damage without amputating any body part, or killing or downing the target.
  • The Down outcome no longer deals damage. Instead, it applies a Knocked Out hediff that knocks the pawn down for around 2 in-game hours. The hediff can be removed early by treatment from another pawn.
  • Default enemy lasso interval increased to 40 seconds (from 20).

Additions:
  • Added support for 18 more mods.



Fixes:
  • Add missing Scarlet Edge Combat Extended patch.
  • Various bug fixes and improvements.
  • Fixes for certain modded weapon's Graphic Classes not being properly supported.
  • Fixed some broken/missing translation keys.

Known Issues:
  • Punt animation (where the victim was sent flying back) was buggy. It has been disabled until I can find a fix.
  • Pocket Sand animation throws sand in the wrong direction when mirrored and the victim shows their hands even if they are an animal or mechanoid.

- Pawns will now automatically start friendly duels in their recreation time, if all conditions are met:
* There must be a Duel Spot placed down somewhere.
* Must have a valid melee weapon equipped (the weapon must be long, not short like a knife or club).
* There must be another pawn available to duel, obviously.

- Pawns will now spectate friendly duels, when possible:
* Pawns will only spectate during their recreation time.

- Pawns now gain joy, recreation and melee skill from both participating in and spectating friendly duels.

- Added support for CAI-5000 fog-of-war. Melee Animation must now be loaded after CAI-5000 if you are using both at once.
- Added friendly duel first implementation:
* There is now a Duel Spot under the Misc building tab.
* For now you must manually select colonists (or slaves) to participate in the duel.
* Participants will receive a mood bonus and a melee skill boost.
* A future update will allow colonists to duel automatically in their recreation time, and to duel enemies on the battlefield.
- Fixed various animation speed related issues:
* Holding the left-shift key would slow down animations (dev feature left in by accident).
* Pausing the game would not pause animations under certain conditions.
