Coinage and Vassal Contracts:
  • Changed Vassal contract desirability - Coinage and Sanctioned War Declaration
  • Changed: On Liberty War victory, attacker will receive Coinage Rights (when reduced to Crown Authority 1) or Sanctioned War Declaration vassal contract, in other cases.
  • Changed: On Populist revolt victory, leader will receive Sanctioned War Declaration, if they are powerful vassals and liege is independent ruler (rulers should care more about internal revolts…).
  • Hotfixed: AI much less likely to give in to Chaplain or Major demands of minting rights during issuance events.
  • Hotfixed: Localization for Ban Foreign Coins.

War:
  • Hotfixed lieges at war with vassals receiving event to pay for damages they inflicted.
  • Hotfixed: Duplicate shipyard location (and lack of other shipyards) in build fleet events.
  • Changed: Mercenary values to increase availability, but also costs with realm size.

Artifacts:
  • Hotfixed mounts/artifact sale messages still appearing in some cases despite game rule.
  • Hotfixed notifications of dying falcons for sale (unsure if there was really a bug).
  • Added hotfixes for notifications of artifacts for sale.

GUI:
  • County Window: Hotfixed religion icon not working.
  • Hotfixed minting rights of vassals, now displayed on Realm Window only.

Map & Buildings:
  • Added Celtic holdings and buildings for Ireland and Scotland, including Holding Sprawl DTR.
  • Hotfixed: Map locations of mines and special buildings.

Version 1.2 (important update of resource values):

Coins:

  • Change: direct prestige returns for issued coins depending on level reached, to make coin issuance and event decisions more balanced.
  • Change: Small gold coins slightly less expensive (equivalent to their modifiers).
  • Hotfix: rulers won’t grant Minting Rights to their own baronies.
  • Hotfix: AI will not revoke Mints unless they have at least 2 open.
  • Tweaked AI values for opening Mints more frequently.

Resources:
  • Changed values for annual Taxes and Development Progress from production.
  • Modified how rulers receive Taxes from productive counties:
    • 100% for independent holders.
    • 100% max. to distribute between holder (more) and lieges (less and less with each tier).
    • A single message for lieges will show the total amount received from all vassals.
  • GUI County Window: hovering over a resource produced in a barony shows now expected Annual Taxes from production in the county (100%) instead of expected Extra Bullion (which is already shown in the ruler’s character window).
  • Trade Maps DTR: additional map mode (on debug mode only) to show expected taxes.
  • Changed: Trade Balance (extra bullion from resources) now individually adjusted by resource, based on their taxes/extra bullion values. Now the historical divide between lands with a negative balance of payments (Europe mainly) and those with a positive one (Muslim world / India) is clearer.
  • Changed: Food value for Foodstuff resources adjusted individually now, for a more precise evaluation of available food.
  • Hotfix: development progress from Industry based on taxes eliminated (in favour of the general one used for Mines and Industry).
  • Changed: development progress is added only if the county can afford it (no Famine or Disease modifiers).
    Improved population estimation efficiency.
  • Changed values of war mounts (horses, camels, elephants) to absolute numbers.
  • GUI: Adjusted holding and resources view, including warning background in red. Removed inefficient warning colors for individual resources (should improve performance).
  • Changed: Deccan (interior counties) made much less likely to produce grain, to simplistically representing harsh monsoon effects.

Raids & Slaves:
  • Added chance of Mamluks becoming leaders of Peasant Revolts in Muslim lands, especially if the lead county has a slave market.
  • Added last chance for players to pay a ransomer, and bring back a close relative who is about to be sold into slavery / made a slave.
  • Change: Much more likely to recover enslaved close or extended family members in a raid or siege.
  • Hotfix: Cannot buy slaves if they are imprisoned.

Tournaments:
  • Added cooldown of 3 years for receiving invitations after accepting one (only for rulers; knights don’t have anything better to do).
  • Added option for players to reject invitations for 10 years.

Other:
  • Holding Interactions: Hotfix for AI adding more building slots when they shouldn't be allowed to.
  • Dynamic Historicity: Using Vanilla characters Ghazi of dynasty Danishmend, and Giorgi of dynasty Voyteh for events, instead of newly created characters.
  • DTR Lite: Added specific script value to increase historicity of Trade Balance (east-west divide), despite the removed resources.
  • Trade Maps DTR: Changed label colors and debug mode buttons.
