Additions
  • Added the Painbringer boss, which replaced the April fools Ultimate Pain boss
    - A post-ML secret boss summoned by using a Mysterious Skull which is dropped from any enemy Post Moon Lord while having ThePain or Clayman mask equipped
    - Attacks have been toned down and have new visuals, no longer heals or revives you during the fight, has a new final phase
    - Has all boss drops, i.e: Treasure bag, Relic, Mask, and master pet is still theCute.
    - Expert accessory revives you once every 2 minutes if you lose all your life, now resprited into the Painbrigner’s Core, all visual effects and buffs resprited and renamed
  • Added the PainBringer’s Staff, dropped from the PainBringer, acts identically to the Pain Giver but with different visuals and sounds
    - Can be shimmered into the Pain giver and vice versa
  • Officially added the Perfectly Normal Derpling
    - Give a Derpling a nice shimmer bath, it will turn out perfectly normal, nothing wrong with it
    - Drops the Derpling Trophy and Perfectly Normal Mask
  • Added the Pain remix music box, uncommon drop from The Painbringer
    - A music box that Plays the April Fools boss theme
  • Added Pain and Clay Slimes
    - Spawn rarely on the surface at any time, slightly stronger than a purple slime, and occasionally fire a blob of gel at you/ multiple blobs around itself respectively.
    - Have a 1 in 50 chance to drop the Pain mask and the Clayman mask respectively.
    - The Pain Slime drops Pink gel, while the Clay Slime drops Clay
  • Common Modded boss drops can be shimmered into each other, these include drops from the Ancient Husk, overloaded Scandrone, Eye of Cthulhu, and Lunatic Cultist
  • ThePain mask and Clayman mask can be shimmered into eachother
  • Frost and Forbidden bars can be Chlorophyte Extractinated into eachother
Changes
  • Certain modded enemies now require fewer kills to obtain their banner
    - Moonling, Soul Cauldron : 10
    - Surged Granite Core, Fallen Warrior, Angry Mushroom, Frozen Spirit, Frigid Snowflake, Dune Blaster, Temple Guardian: 25
  • The Flamethrowers in the mod have been visually tweaked, hit less often but have increased damage
    - Arid Sandblaster damage has been increased from 14 to 18, and usetime increased from 4 to 7
    - Cryofreezer damage has been increased from 21 to 25, and usetime increased from 4 to 6
    - The Lihzarhd Flamer damage has been increased from 35 to 50, and usetiem increased from 3 to 5
  • The Wooden pendant now also grants 0.5hp/s regen while in a forest
  • The changes to spears when TRAE Project is enabled have been removed for the time being, they may be re-implemented in the future.
Bug Fixes
  • The Scandrone no longer has a capitalised ‘D’

    - Summoned using the Mysterious Emblem, crafted from Luminite and lunar fragments
    - Very difficult and painful, be prepared
    - Drops the ultimate weapon
    - Has its own trophy, Expert drop, Relic, Master Pet
Changes
  • The Ancient Husk and Overloaded Scandrone now have death animations when defeated
  • Reduced the duration of the electrified debuff from the overloaded Scandrone from 2.5/5 seconds to 1/2 seconds, and 1.5/3 seconds for lightning attacks. The debuff from contact damage has been lowered from 4/8 seconds to 2.5/5.
    - The weather will be a storm as long as the boss is alive, this can be turned off in the configs
  • The Shredder no longer has a +2 tile range
  • The Nine lives souls begin to escape after 9 seconds instead of 10
  • The Celestial Barrier now only grants 25 defence when the buff is active instead of 50
Bug Fixes
  • Enemies immune to debuffs should no longer be immune to the modded whip debuffs

Changes
  • The Spiky Bomb launcher can now launch you away from a wall even if you’re right up against it.
    - Flames now appear under the player/ NPCs feet when launched with the bombs
    - Other players in PvP should now also be launched
  • Added new visual effects for the Nine lives collecting and losing a soul
  • Added a new visual effect for when the Blazing Star reflects a projectile
  • The Derpling hook can now fire 4 hooks simultaneously, with 3 being able to be hooked at once.
    - Range reduced from 31 to 29 tiles
  • The Mini Drill range penalty has been increased from -1 to -2
    - Tool speed has been reduced from 5 to 6
  • The Mega Drill now has a -1 range penalty
  • The Bloody Pax and Hammer now have a +1 range bonus.
    - Tool speed reduced from 13 to 11 and 17 to 16 respectively.
  • The Arid Armour set bonus explosion radius has been reduced, and it can only hit up to 3 npcs
    - Deals 50% less damage to worm enemies
  • The Surged Granite Core health has been increased from 160/320/480 to 220/440/660 and knockback resistance increased from 40% to 50%
    - It also fires more quickly after taking damage.
  • The Fallen warrior health has been increased from 180/360/520 to 250/500/750 and knockback resistance increased from 15% to 40%
  • The Angry Mushroom health has been increased from 150/300/450 to 200/400/600 and knockback resistance increased from 10% to 30%
  • The Heartless Soul health has been increased from 180/360/520 to 350/700/1050 and knockback resistance increased from 30% to 60%
    - It summons its souls more often, and more quickly after being attacked.
  • The Frozen Spirit’s health increased from 500/1000/1500 to 750/1500/2250 and knockback resistance increased from 70% to 75%
  • Tweaked the dust effects of many explosions
  • The High Tech Seeking Arrow projectile now despawns if it somehow gets too far away from the player
Bug Fixes
  • The Derpling armour set bonus is no longer activated while in a mount.
  • The Arid Armour set bonus no longer activates on projectile npcs.
  • Fixed some tooltip errors

  • The Soul Blade projectile now have stronger homing and a longer lifetime.
  • Nine Lives rarity has been increased from Light Purple to yellow, and require a Mythril Anvil to craft instead of any anvil
  • Increased the sell price of the Hunter’s Blade from 50 silver to 3 Gold
  • The Spiky Bomb Launcher now requires a line sight to launch the player and NPCs
Bug Fixes
  • The Hunter’s Blade should no longer immediately break when throwing it while standing on a sloped tile.

Additions
  • Added the Nine Lives weapon, crafted from 2 sickles, souls of night, and ectoplasm (Sprite by Charley)
    - Melee weapon that has 2 attack, primary is a spinner weapon which resembles 2 sickles stuck end to end, secondary throws out 2 sickles in succession as boomerangs, which linger for a brief moment after striking an enemy.
    - Killing an enemy collects its soul, and up to 9 souls can be collected. Each soul collected increased the damage and crit of the weapon by 5% and 2% respectively.
    - Souls will begin to escape one by one if no enemies are killed within 10 seconds, killing an enemy resets the cooldown even if the max souls are collected.
Changes
  • The Spiky launcher can now be used to sticky jump, being close to the explosion will launch the player in the opposite direction, without dealing any damage.
    - It can also launch Town NPCs without damaging them, and also launches enemies not immune to knockback.
    - Bombs now stick to platforms
    - Bombs are now unsticked by holding W (up) and right click instead of S (down).
  • The Selenian Blades now ricochet off tiles instead of immediately returning to the player.
  • The Overloaded Scandrone’s attacks now inflict Electrified for 2.5 seconds on expert, and 5 seconds on master, getting hit directly by the boss inflicts it for 4 and 8 seconds respectively.

Changes
  • The Messenger's Crown now increases acceleration in addition to speed
    - Defence increased from 2 to 4
    - Now grants a set bonus with Gold or Platinum armour pieces, +3 for gold, and +5 for platinum for a total of 16/20 defence respectively .
  • The Storm Diver Shotgun charge up has been reduced from 1.5 seconds to 1, and the damage build up has been slightly lowered.
    - Base damage starts at 90, and reaches 380 at max charge
    - Now always fires 5 bullets, and initial spread heavily reduced
    - It now properly inherits ranged damage buffs, meaning it deals much more damage with them than before.
    - Base dps is lower than before with no buffs.
  • The Homing flames of the Soul Cauldrons home in less aggressively
Bug Fixes
  • Asteroid Ammo and fragments now have the same rarity as the rest of the Asteroid gear

Additions
  • Added the High Tech Seeking Arrow, purchasable from the Cyborg
    - Holding down the attack button causes the arrow to automatically target enemies until it is released, in which it then returns to the player
Changes
  • The Heart Emblem has been renamed to the Life Emblem
    - It now instantly heals the player for 20 health instead of dropping a super heart. The method to get healed is still the same as before, enemies have a 1 in 4 chance to do so when falling below half-life, and bosses will always heal for 50 health.
    - Enemies are still inflicted with the debuff once they heal you.
    - The Philosopher’s heart has not been renamed but still has the new behaviour.
  • The Life vial and Life Fruit vial have been renamed to the Heart Vial and Super Heart Vial respectively.
    - The Heart Vial gives enemies a 1 in 5 chance to drop a normal heart on death as long as the player is not at max life. Bosses always drop 5 extra hearts on death
    - The Super Heart vial gives enemies a 1 in 8 chance to drop a super heart as long as the player is not at max life. Bosses always drop 2 super hearts on death
    - They are now crafted with 1 bottled water, 1 Life fruit, and 1 cracked heart each.
    - Super hearts new heal 50 life, and have a new visual glow effect.
    - The buffs have been renamed to “Heart Collector” and “Super Heart Collector” respectively.
    - They do not work on Multiplayer player for the time being
  • The Storm Diver Shotgun Sprite has been updated.
    - Charge sound effects have been changed, and it now only gains an extra 10% damage at max charge.
  • The Heart Attack blood trail now lasts longer uses static immunity frames, and the armour penetration has been increased from 5 to 10
    - Dust effect has been updated
  • The Blood Urchin Staff Sentry damage increased from 18 to 20
  • The Frozen Queens Staff Sentry damage increased from 38 to 40
  • The Vortex Launcher’s usetime has been reduced from 30 to 26
  • The Soul Cauldron and Moonling now have a map icon
  • All sentries and minions have had their projectile shoot speeds slightly tweaked
  • Some enemies now have a one of two visual glow effects
    - The Fallen Warrior, Heartless Soul, Frozen Spirit, Asteroid Enemies, and Blazing Hopper have a glow effect that gets larger the faster the enemy is moving. The Overloaded Scandrone also gains this effect when dashing.
    - The Soul Cauldron, its Servants, the Nebula Hopper, and the Moonling during Phase 2 have a set of 4 pulsing after images around them. The Ancient Husk also has this effect when invulnerable.
    - Also the Storm Hopper and Vortexian Cannon now have a trail effect
  • Multiplayer warning tooltips are now coloured
