  • (hopefully permanently) Stop Muton Elites attempting to swap to an all-black outfit against everyone's wishes. They're now cooked (and only them)
  • more cooking and performance improvements will come with the full version 1.1.0, but that version contains more signficant changes so it needs proper playtesting.

  • Fixed black textures for Templar Shield Mk3 and Advanced Vibroblade
  • Added a nuclear option console command to force everyone in the avenger's crew to set to active. Try this as a last resort to fix stuck units.

    Current state no new units should be bugging out anymore, if you run into anything that becomes bugged after updating to this version please reach out to me on Discord, I'm in both the LWoTC and main XCOM 2 Modding discords.

    I sincerely apologize for this mess of an update from what was supposed to be small bugfixes and QOL.

Verson 1.0.4 - bugfixes!

  • Removed the friendly fire warning from Volt
  • Disabled using Cyclic Fire while disoriented (previously, it would only fire one shot)
  • Properly check that pistol slot is empty in CanAddItemToInventory_CH_Improved for LW's integrated pistol slot (fixes some "slots eat your items" glitches)
  • Grant the SingleRendFocus ablility with Rend instead of Volt to be more intuitive and for better compatibility with modded classes.
  • Don't remove the focus killtracker from TemplarFocus, and rely on removing Rend from the list of abilities it tracks instead (also for modded class compatibility).
  • Hopefully fix Indomitable triggering twice in one turn from Viper's tongue grab + bind.
  • Properly remove units from staff slots when they are sent out on infiltration missions. Fixes units being stuck in slots such as modded repair bays and modded robotic units.
  • Added more LW2 [thing] pack mods that you don't need to the incompatible mods list CHL popup

Version 1.0.3 update!

This is my first update to the main mod, featuring many bugfixes and QOL improvements.

Some highlights:
- End of HQ assault crash fix is incorporated.
- Fixed a major cause of geoscape lag.
- Config options added to pre-set some settings that previously could only be set after a campaign was started, and didn't persist.
- Added new debug logging toggles that actually work.
- Integrated the Raider Faction Turn Order fix mod.
- Improved compatibility with mods such as [WOTC] UFOpedia & Bestiary and [WOTC] Barracks Status Display.
- Avatar project is made visible much sooner instead of being locked behind lib 5
- Blacksite mission location is now less predictable, and less likely to completely screw the player with a bad geoscape generation.
- Pistol Row AP costs reduced, and Quickdraw now negates the mobility penalty for taking a pistol.
- Beta Strike now doubles RNF timers and halves RNF fill rates, so the mode should be more viable to play.
- Various other bugfixes, small balance tweaks, making things more intuitive.
- Localization updates that didn't make the previous release.

This is a small patch release with some nice changes:
  • The tutorial will hopefully no longer be enable-able at all 🤞
  • A warning popup will now display if a retaliation is about to expire while you're scanning
  • Steady Hands now works reliably, applying when it should and no longer applying when it shouldn't
  • SPARKs should no longer be able to infiltrate more than one mission at a time and no longer heal while infiltrating
  • Players will now see a variety of biomes in their missions
  • Ability icon colours will now appear correctly when using abilities like Rapid Deployment
  • Russian and Spanish translations have seen big updates

  • Shadow can now be activated on a movement action, such as when Cheap Shot triggers
  • Banish now has a 2-turn cooldown and can be used from Squadsight
  • Soul Harvest works with Throwing Knives again
  • Templar's Greater Padding effect has been reduced to 1/2/4 for the tiers, Volt radius has been reduced by 1 and its Aim bonus has been reduced to +5%
