Version 1.2.2

Mainly bugfixes and a few smaller balance changes, some as a result of said bugfixes. Full list is at the bottom of the 1.2 changelog[docs.google.com], starting on page 30.

  • Fix bug where captured soldiers who died during the rescue mission would keep showing up.
  • Fixed handling of the RewardUnitGenerated event to allow other mods to interact with units generated as mission rewards and black market soldiers.

Bugfixes:

  • Fix Collateral Damage able to damage unit in Stasis
  • Fix Smart Macrophages triggering a “fire weapon” animation at mission start
  • That’s Close Enough, and CCS now no longer work on the unit’s own turn
  • Fixed “Bypass Door Lock” hack randomly appearing when it shouldn’t
  • Disable the Templar auto-respec by default
  • Fixed typo in LightningReflexes dark event applying the base game Lightning Reflexes instead of the LW version to units
  • Fixed bug with Enhanced Layered Armor hidden workings triggering CCS/Bladestorm
  • Purifier Flamethrower is now interruptible
  • Fixed Avatar Project not revealing after a region is liberated if it wasn’t already revealed
  • Better handling of the interaction with Dude, Where’s my Loot and LW’s simpler version to avoid giving duplicate corpses for Turrets and Mind Controlled units
  • Fixed issue with units sometimes not being able to evac after using Full Override
  • Improved the functioning of Traverse Fire behind the scenes
  • Fixed the missing Mutons on the Psi Gate main menu shell
  • Updated handling of the Facility Lead missions and Covert Op to prevent giving more leads than there are facilities (caused by bugfixing the Facility Lead Covert Op to show up).
  • Fixed infiltration preview/time remaining for invasion precursors
  • Fixed None Shall Pass causing units to break concealment. It now will behave like Bladestorm and CCS, where it will fire if concealment is broken, but not break concealment itself
  • Fixed cases where Yellow Alert would sometimes grant offensive actions when it shouldn’t (e.g. pod gets overwatched, put on yellow alert by said overwatch, gets offensive actions)

Balance Changes:
  • Prototype Plasma Blaster damage reduced by 1 (changed to 3-6), and ammo reduced from 2 to 1. It was way too strong for the point you can get it
  • Review/update of all rewards for Smash N Grab and Supply Extraction missions. Previous changes to them in 1.1 led to too much elerium being given early game and not enough alloys relative to LW2 Smash N Grab missions, so updating everything to better match LW2 rewards again
  • Updated and standardized all Dark VIP mission schedules to make the difficulty less RNG and standardize the faceless count.
  • Sustaining Sphere now costs 2 Priest corpses instead of 1
  • Alll tiers of Advent Priest HP decreased slightly

Other:
  • Localization updates
  • New animations for Throwing Knives and Combat Knives
  • Added a missing WOTC event to LW’s reward soldier generation code for improved mod compatibility
  • “Quick Response” mission text is now highlighted yellow on geoscape mission UI
  • Added Str/Vig variables to the LW Mod API event that handles Force Level
  • Added LWOTC version in bottom left of main menu shell

Hotfix 1:

  • Fixed Hunter being able to use Tracking Shot after grappling.
  • Hopefully fixed weird behavior when right clicking to skip squad deployment cutscene.
  • Spanish localization updates from Pryda4ever

Version 1.2!

A massive number of changes, including several significant class overhauls, redone XCOM decks, two new mission types, a bunch of bugfixes, QOL improvements, and other balance changes, and more.
