Update for Reforged Eden: (Build 39)


Reforged Eden:
Updated BlocksConfig.ecf and Localization.cvs files to fix a playfield freeze bug on servers.
Please make sure you apply this hotfix to your servers to prevent playfield freezes!

  • Added back Block ID 268 and 269 to the block config to prevent playfield freezes on dedicated servers and errors in single player when spawning Reforged Galaxy or Reforged Eden blueprints from 2020.
  • Removed all function from them and set their size to 1x1x1 and model to the player spawner model. Changed name and description to show that they are an obsolete block that should be removed. Set them as illegal in blueprints.
  • These blocks were marked as obsolete years ago and should not be used in any blueprints. If in survival you may pick them up with a multitool to get a regular passenger seat back.
  • You can find them in the list of blocks (expand all and look for the block names in yellow) and use show on hud to find them in your blueprints.
    Note: these were generators or shield generators in RE, and exterior passenger seats in vanilla. In both cases the block is obsolete and the blueprint needs to be taken into creative and fixed before you can use it in a survival game.
    If some of your subscribed or personal blueprints from 2020 are suddenly illegal, this is why. You need to fix them in creative first.

Update for Reforged Eden: (Build 38)


Project Eden:
  • Updated eden_blockmodels Unity bundle to remove lighting from custom asteroid fields to reduce lag.
  • Updated description of scenario to include how to start in creative mode.


Updated Derelict Station:
(These changes will require either a new save game, or a playfield wipe of the Derelict Station Delta playfield to add to an existing save game. use the help wipe console command in-game for details on this command and make sure nobody has anything in that playfield before use. Wipe it at your own risk).
  • Updated fire control dialog to show a tactical report on jetpack usage, armor durability, boss room, etc because people weren't seeing the hints and getting themselves into trouble.
  • Slightly reduced number of NPCs spawned during the boss fight.
  • Lowered starting health of turrets and they now shut off after you defeat the boss.
  • Anti-jetpack spawners now shut off when you unlock the control room and reduced their spawn counts from 8 to 6.
  • Spawners outside boss room now shut off when you defeat the boss.
  • Adjusted loot in the armor locker in the command hangar. Replaced the EVA and oxygen boosts with an armor and multi boost.


This POI is meant to be able to be done solo with medium armor, T2 weapons, and some meds. The intention of these changes is not to make it easier, but rather to lower the difficulty spike at the very end as the boss fight is much harder than the rest of the POI.
I also see a lot of people trying to do things like stay out of range of melee NPCs by using their jetpack, running the POI in armor that has low durability, or running out of the boss room in the middle of the fight. Doing any of these will actually make it harder, not easier, so I've clarified this in the fire control console dialog.
Hopefully these changes will bring this POI more in line with its intended difficulty and progression level.

Update for Reforged Eden: (Build 37)


Project Eden:
  • Hot fix to fix broken switch on back wall in boss room of Derelict Station (Prefabs/Eden_BAO_LostStation.epb).

If no one has visited this playfield in the current save game there should be no action you need to take (unless you need to update your server), but if you've already visited it there are two ways to fix this.

You can use the gm iv console command to enter godmode invisible, look at the switch, hit P to open the control panel of the Derelict Station, and turn on the switch. Then leave godmode and you can flip it and continue.

Or you can wipe the playfield with the wipe command wipe 'Derelict Station Delta'. Type help wipe for full syntax. WARNING: make sure no players are in the playfield as this will remove all player ships and structures from the playfield.

Of course if you run a server please update the scenario on your server before doing these steps.

Update for Reforged Eden: (Build 37)


Project Eden:
  • Bolter turrets: CV bolter turret shield damage reduced by 50% and can now be placed on BA. BA bolter turret converted into alien bolter turret for POI use.
    If you have any BA bolter turrets (Alien ones) on your bases you can pick them up with a multitool to convert them into the player version.
  • Fixed broken AllowedAt localization from vanilla.
  • Updated respawn screen with new descriptions.

  • Greatly reduced buy and sell counts of robotics at Robotics Factories and Advanced Factories and slightly reduced price randomization to balance it for Reforged Eden.
  • Sentinel flak turret: Reduced mass from 40,000 to 12240.
  • EMP cruise missile base damage reduced from 3300 to 3000. Damage modifier versus T2 shields reduced by 10% and T3 shields by 20%. CPU reduced from 90,000 to 75,000.
  • Updated Zirax homeworld. Updated sky color. Reforged only: Added new palace POIs (thanks to Don2k7).
  • (Reforged Eden) Some planetary factories had a 50% chance to spawn. They have now all been set to 100% chance. This should lead to finding more factories overall.
  • Fixed navigational data not increase warp range for the Project Eden scenario.
  • Changed the "stand for 5 seconds" to standard switch flips for the Derelict Station.
  • Removed the Deep Space Radar Complex from spawning on Barren Metal planets due to complaints of infinite respawns.
    NOTE: These changes will only apply to undiscovered star systems. As this is a POI from the vanilla game I will most likely not have time to properly fix it so I have removed it from the scenario. Please do not complain to me about this POI as it is not from the scenario.

  • Replaced excavator turrets on drone assemblers in rich asteroid fields with normal automated drill turrets.
  • Updated thruster colors on Bandit and Raider ships.
  • Gave harvestable crystals localized names.
  • Added new cave to ice planets.
  • Added a handful of small random nebula with new colors randomly scattered throughout the galaxy. Reduced counts of some nebula.

  • Added 3 new Black Cultist POIs to several planets and moons (thanks to Ente).
  • POI cruise missile launchers no longer convert to player versions when picked up. Now can be deconstructed for a smaller amount of resources.
  • POI cruise missile launchers and POI beam laser turrets are now only placable on bases and CPU cost greatly increased to reinforce that they are not to be used by players. Tooltips updated. (seriously stop trying to use Alien POI devices)
  • Added very small titanium deposits to most starter moons.
  • Lost Colony and Lost Colony Ship now have indestructable admin cores to prevent the main story mission The Infected from breaking. Added preplaced ingots and additional common alien containers to make up for being unable to salvage these POIs.
  • Adjusted drones and POIs in starting sectors. Zirax POIs removed from some starting orbits. Interceptors replaced with Novice Interceptors in some starting orbits. Lowered speed of starter Zirax patrol vessels in some starting orbits.
  • Added UCH Research Beacons that warp in a UCH Research Vessel to your current sector if it doesn't already have one. Usable only in some planetary orbits. Obtained from UCH Quartermaster gifts in limited quantities per player or from some of the survey missions.
  • Reduced promethium pellet yield of protonium ore from 500 to 300 pellets. Added missing toxic waste to dronite ore.
  • Removed Alpha and Beta Planetary Remnant sectors. They are not used for any missions in Reforged Eden.
  • Fixed broken advanced voidium extractor and voidium drill unlock.
  • Added research reports and expedition reports to the UCH Exploration Trader on UCH Research Vessels.

Updated PDA:
(Will require testing in MP)
  • Missions and Empyriopedia entries rewarded by the Make Contact with Terran Forces mission now show up as (unavailable) with a note saying how to unlock them.
  • Added a warning about missing Empyriopedia entries to the Empyriopedia if you have not yet done the Make Contact with Terran Forces mission.
  • Separated the Project Eden story missions into Main Story and Side Story groups. Adjusted naming convention to match the vanilla and Reforged story missions. Now "chapter 1: name" instead of "name: part 1".

Reforged Galaxy V1.9-27:
  • Updated bundles to latest Unity version
  • Structural Ramp blocks have a less scratched/dirty texture now so they blend in better with regular metal plate and smooth metal textures.
  • Updated economic values for all items and blocks to remove the 25% crafting bonus (this applies to all trader missions too).
  • Elite Submachine Gun now uses laser cells as the "Laser SMG"
  • T1 and T2 SMGs now use the vanilla models and now have significantly higher Rate of Fire.
  • Assault and Combat Shotguns are now faster-firing and automatic without vanilla's excessing damage/accuracy nerf.
  • Advanced Flamethrower now has it's own model.
  • Adjustments to the Advanced Laser Pistol to be slower-firing but harder hitting.
  • DC-17 Blaster Pistol now uses the vanilla Blaster Pistol Model and icon. (Ain't it weird how vanilla suddenly got RG's weapons?)
  • Fixed Hacker and Courier Class not being unlockable when requirements are met. (please test)
  • Various bugfixes.
    The Laser Carbine will not make an appearance since it's a pointless weapon that overlaps the function of the Laser Rifle and the laser SMG without being equal to either.

Hotfix for Reforged Eden: (No Build Change)
  • Updated Unity asset bundles for 1.9 compatibility to fix errors with custom assets.
    Server owners: make sure you upload the new scenario files using binary transfer mode in your FTP client to prevent corrupted custom assets.


A scenario content update is planned for later today or tomorrow. Recommend waiting for this update content update if you are planning to start a new save game!
