Update: Feb 25, 2022 @ 1:44pm

Update:

- The Great Upgrade ascension perk will now offer a choice of two special projects when upgrading your cybertronian species:
1. Downsizing: Similar to the Beast Era upgrades from the lore, this upgrade downsizes cybertronian frames to conserve energon and lower upkeep costs at the cost of army health and damage.

2. TransTech: Based on the TransTech material, this upgrade will greatly enhance cybertronian army and resource modifiers at the cost of increased upkeep and leader costs. I plan to add more unique technology for this choice in the future.

NOTE: This is a one-time upgrade, so keep that in mind for now.

If you have any problems with this update, please let me know.

Also, special thanks to Candidoes for the suggestion.

Beast Wars Update:

- Added three new portrait sets: Maximals, Predacons, & Vehicons. These sets are still a wip in terms of quality and I will be updating them over time.

- New ascension perk: The Great Upgrade - replaces the cybertronian trait with the downsized cybertronian trait that reduces the penalties of assembly speed and upkeep while increasing resource output at the cost of army health and damage.

- New civics for maximals, predacons, and vehicons

- New leader traits for vehicons

- New maximal/predacon/vehicon armies with their own army icons

- New cybertronian technologies have been added based on Beast Era technology including Stasis Pods and Transwarp Drives.

- New origin: Post-war Cybertron based on the Beast Era. Also includes a machine start for Vehicons based on Beast Machines Cybertron.

General Updates:

- New resources: energon/dark energon crystals - A starting resource that is now required for the refinement of energon. These new resources have replaced energon/dark energon on the galaxy map and are more rare to find.

- Energon tech will be harder for non-cybertronians without the energon dependence trait to research.

- New districts for Cybertronian Worlds: Energon Mining Districts that add energon miner jobs and Dark Energon Mining District that adds dark energon miner jobs for Corrupted Cybertronian worlds.

- New buildings: Energon/Dark Energon Mine. These buildings offer an increase in energon production, energon miner jobs, and can only be built on worlds with energon/dark energon crystal deposits. Limit of 1 per planet.

Bug Fixes:
- Fixed an issue with default robots appearing in cybertronian empires (This issue comes up repeatedly, but hopefully, this should fix it).

- Fixed some job triggers for energon jobs when using gestalt empires.

- Localisation errors

Future Plans:
- Expanding the new origin to include events similar to the war for cybertron origin that cover the events of the Beast Wars.

I'm going to be busy for the next few months so I won't be able to respond quickly, but If you have any immediate issues or concerns, let me know.

Update: Jan 13, 2022 @ 11:11pm

Update:

- Cybertronian worlds heavily damaged by orbital bombardment will now turn into damaged cybertronian worlds if the threshold reaches 100% devastation. A decision to repair them has also been added.

- Corrupted cybertronian worlds heavily damaged by orbital bombardment will now explode if the threshold reaches 100% devastation due to the volatile nature of dark energon infused within the planet's core. If destroyed, it will leave a dark energon orbital deposit.

- army buffs to several autobot/decepticon/insecticon army types including Optimus Prime and Megatron/Galvatron.

Update: Dec 30, 2021 @ 3:16pm

Small QoL Update:

- New army icons for cybertronian armies to help differentiate them from Stellaris army icons.

- Added the Cybertronian Marauder army type, a four-legged walker from FOC that serves as an artillery platform. Can be built after researching Cybertronian Destroyer Frame technology.

- Added planet sound effects to all cybertronian planet classes.

Update: Nov 26, 2021 @ 7:25pm

Update:

- Based on the new aquatics dlc, cybertronian worlds (with the exception of Cybertron) now have the decision to expand their planet size. Max of 5 times. Adds a cybertronian city-state deposit each time.

- New cybertronian colonies: Aquatron and Velocitron system starts with their own planetary features have been added as custom starts and for the pax cybertronia origin as far flung neighbor systems.

- New planet class: Aquatic Cybertronian World - A cybertronian world created from an oceanic planet at half the cost of cyberforming the entire planet. While not a full cybertronian world, this planet can be converted into one using the cyberforming decision. Has both oceanic and cybertronian planetary features.

- New cybertronian sub-type traits have been added: Aquatronian and Velocitronian (Requires the cybertronian trait).

- Similar to the Aquatic trait, the Aquatronian trait offers a modifier bonus for cybertronians on wet climate worlds and unlocks the decision to create aquatic cybertronian worlds from ocean planets. Velocitironian traits offers a reduction in species modification cost and an increase in ship speed and evasion.

- Cybertron's planet size across all origins has been increased to 30 from 20.

Future Plans
- Adding more cybertronian colonies and cybertronian sub-type traits.
