[WN] Gorm Den gamle: Well I use the UI Overhaul Dynamic mod for myself, but there are other ui mods on the workshop that will do the same thing.
[WN] Gorm Den gamle Nov 22 @ 9:10am
@force728 Yes that is what i am talking about, do you know of any UI mods that helps with this?
force728  [author] Nov 22 @ 8:20am
@[WN] Gorm Den gamle: You may have to subscribe to one of the ui mods if you're talking about districts on cybertronian worlds.
[WN] Gorm Den gamle Nov 22 @ 5:15am
Anyone know a way to be able to see all the building slots?
Sassafier Nov 21 @ 9:42am
Nevermind. I saw that the mechanical ones will only have full rights if you have Utopia. I initially thought that the Utopia one was just for the Hive Mind Authority for Insecticons.
Sassafier Nov 21 @ 9:12am
There's a problem. Any mechanical Cybertronian pops are set to servitude, even founder species ones. Can you fix this?
WODZU123098 Nov 14 @ 6:55am
I wrote in the fashion discussions, but apparently no one looks there. Do you have the same problem as I describe below?
I started playing a new game on this mod. I had already created a Decepticon leader before Stellaris was rebuilt. And in two newly started campaigns, for no reason, all the bots are hostile towards me, as is the group of artists. I don't know what's going on. I have the same settings as before the big game update and nothing like this happened.
Has anyone else had a similar experience?
Lordtrott Nov 13 @ 10:52pm
Ah I solved it! You were right, was just an issue with compatibility with another mod.
force728  [author] Nov 13 @ 5:47pm
@Lordtrott: From which planet? I checked and they're still there on all of the cybertronian worlds. If you don't see any energon districts, then you might need to get one of the ui mods.
Lordtrott Nov 13 @ 10:46am
It has been a while since I played this mod and when I played it I couldnt help but notice the energon refinery districts are gone. Do not get me wrong I still LOVE this mod but what happened to them?
Sassafier Nov 5 @ 6:37am
Will Machine Intelligence Insecticon empires with the Insecticon Hive civic whose founder species has the Decepticon Programming trait be treated as Decepticons?
Sassafier Nov 4 @ 2:56pm
@force728 Awesome! Can't wait! Can't let the Quintessons have all the the fun with their unique councilor position, can we? 😉
force728  [author] Nov 4 @ 2:51pm
@renatops410: As of right now, they don't have any special army types at the moment, but it is something I'm working on adding for an upcoming update.

@Sassafier: None of the civics have councilor positions yet. That's also something I would like to add soon.
Sassafier Nov 4 @ 6:30am
I've looked through the files, but I can't seem to find the councilor titles for the Transformer faction civics. Do they just not have titles? Or, if they do have titles, what might they be?
renatops410 Oct 27 @ 9:37am
hello, does anyone know if the functionist council gets any special units? (like metroplex) and if so how do i unlock them?
Sassafier Oct 27 @ 5:50am
Found an interesting exploit that would let you be Autobots and Functionists at the same time. The individualist civic Autobot Ideology requires some level of the egalitarian ethic while the individualist ethic Functionist Council prohibits any degree of the Egalitarian ethic. But, if you play as a machine intelligence Cybertronian empire, you can simultaneously use both the Autobot Programming ethic and the Functionist Programming ethic as they aren't mutually exclusive.
Sassafier Oct 26 @ 1:23pm
@✧Starshadow Melody✧ Thanks! I'm glad you found it interesting!
✧Starshadow Melody✧ Oct 26 @ 1:20pm
Interesting. I like how the ethics selection shows that they're still autobots at the core, but a bit jaded by trauma...
Sassafier Oct 26 @ 12:51pm
@force728 They all resided on a Gaia world called Eukaris, which was not only the only non-cybertronian world to naturally produce Energon, but also the only planet left in the galaxy that still produced regular Energon instead of Dark Energon, and its Energon was still viable, but only to Optimus since he was the only one to not be converted to run on Dark Energon. Ginrai uses Optimus in his truck mode (an Earth-based truck mode) to make supply runs to and from other settlements and Energon mines on Eukaris. One human in the group, named Cab, has been visiting Optimus while he's in their outpost's garage and talks to him, choosing to believe that though inert, he can hear him. Ginrai is now on the verge of finally reactivating Optimus and giving the galaxy the symbol of hope it needs, but the shadow of the Vehicons looms...
Sassafier Oct 26 @ 12:51pm
@force728 The only way for Transformers to save themselves was to corrupt their planets with Dark Energon and convert themselves to run on it. Eventually, Cybertron followed suit. This event that resulted in the reluctant conversion became known as the Darkfall. There was a new Autobot government on Cybertron that replaced the Commonwealth following the Darkfall. The Autobot Dominion. Unlike the Commonwealth, which was a Demeocracy, and Fanatic Egalitarian and Xenophile, they were an Oligarchy, and Egalitarian, Xenophile, and Militarist, showing how the scars of the Vehicon attack had changed them. They were led by Ultra Magnus, who took charge after Optimus went missing in a fight with the Vehicons shortly before the Darkfall. Unbeknownst to most of the Galaxy, Optimus had been locked in vehicle mode, and was in the care of an old human friend of his named Ginrai, who had sheltered a group of teens and young adults who had been orphaned in Vehicon attacks. (continues in next comment)
Sassafier Oct 26 @ 12:51pm
@force728 All Decepticons were absorbed into the Autobot Commonwealth, and their logo changed into an Amalgamation of the Autobot and Decepticon logos. Peace settled into the Galaxy. But, a few years later, the arrival of a Determined Exterminator Machine Intelligence Cybertronian Empire known as the Vehicon Mainframe, lead by a Transformer named Obsidian, started attacking the worlds of the galaxy. As many were unprepared to defend themselves from attackers due to the prior lack of conflict, few fared well. They ran on Dark Energon and none had sparks but Obsidian himself. Eventually, the Vehicons created a weapon that stopped the production of normal Energon in what seemed to be all planets in the galaxy that did so. (continues in next comment)
Sassafier Oct 26 @ 12:50pm
@force728 As Optimus held Galvatron in his arms, Megatron sent out a transmission from his internal commlink to all in the Galaxy, saying "My fellow Decepticons, and all others watching this. I must woefully announce that my existence will end shortly. But, before I go, I must send out my final testament. Whilst I was a slave to Unicron, I finally learned the true meaning of oppression, and have thus lost my taste for inflicting it. I also do not wish my violent legacy to be carried on. *cough* I am... dissolving the Decepticon Star Empire... and all other Decepticon Empires. *cough* The Decepticons are no more, and that... is... final..." And with a mighty pseudo-exhale, Galvatron, the Decepticon Emperor of Destruction, perished peacefully in the arms of the one, who, for eons, up until a week ago, had been his mortal enemy. (continues in next comment)
Sassafier Oct 26 @ 12:50pm
@force728 Alright then! Gather 'round Cybertronians, Insecticons, Organics, Lithoids, Extradimensionals, and Lesser Machines alike, as we delve into... the Darkfall. It happened after Unicron was defeated in his true form. There was great celebration in the Galaxy as the most powerful and horrific crisis was defeated for the second and last time. The defeat was due in part to the combined efforts of the improbable duo of Optimus Prime and Galvatron, who used the combined powers of the Matrix of Leadership and the Dark Spark to end the Chaos Bringer at last. The act left Optimus alright, but Galvatron used up all his power. (continues in next comment)
force728  [author] Oct 26 @ 11:52am
@V: No, it's a planet decision to restore it, so you need to colonize it first.

@Sassafier: Sure.
Name Oct 26 @ 11:15am
Is there a way to restore cybertron without colonizing it?
Sassafier Oct 26 @ 10:14am
@force728 Excellent! BTW, while I've got your attention, would you like to hear the lore for my Dark Energon Autobot situation?
force728  [author] Oct 26 @ 10:00am
@Sassafier: Not at first, but there is always an option in the planet decisions tab to corrupt Cybertron using dark energon after researching it and yes there is nothing stopping you from having the Autobots use the dark energon dependency trait.
Sassafier Oct 26 @ 9:38am
I looked through the files, and it seems I may have found a few details. There doesn't seem to be anything stopping Autobots from having Dark Energon Dependency, and it seems there may be a setup event for Cybertron that allows you to start as a Corrupted Cybertron. I have a few questions: First, am I correct about there being a setup event that lets you start on a corrupted Cybertron? Second, is it possible to play as an Autobot empire on either a Corrupted Cybertron or a Corrupted Cybertronian Colony? (I know the second one doesn't really make a lot of sense lorewise, but I have a situation where it happens)
Name Oct 23 @ 4:42am
@Sassafier if you wanna stay lore accurate I'd do hive mind, as the devouring swarm civic fits with the insecticons' need to eat everything they see
Sassafier Oct 23 @ 4:39am
Nevermind! I looked at the files and found that the Insecticon Hive Origin allows for either the Hive Mind Authority or the Machine Intelligence Authority.
Sassafier Oct 22 @ 6:24pm
Would an Empire with the Insecticon Hive Origin use the Machine Intelligence Authority or the Hive Mind Authority?
Si O'son Oct 16 @ 5:38pm
is there supposed to be only the decepticon star empire when choosing empire?
Sassafier Oct 16 @ 8:31am
I've always wanted a Transformers-themed space-naval RTS! Once I get the required DLC, I'm gonna have a blast with this!
w.girl27 Oct 15 @ 9:38pm
thanks so much for keeping this upto date i absolutely love how faithfully and seriously it adds the transformers verse and its unique technologies into the game.

the only oen that was even close in terms of its completeness to gameplay and lore of the property it was adding to stellaris was tiberium expanded which sadly is lost to the outdate tides now.

and maybe thaumcraft but perhaps its blocky loyatly rules it out for many.
Azzaret Oct 2 @ 1:18am
Is it intended, that on a cybertronian worlds there are more building slots than planet view screen can fit? Fourth slot in districts other than city district goes off screen.
The Mad Demoknight Sep 29 @ 9:26am
Think you can make this work with Downscaled Updated? Some of the other updated mods use it going forward and don't want to end up having two downscaled mods
✧Starshadow Melody✧ Sep 24 @ 3:05pm
SEE Patience.

witness it
force728  [author] Sep 24 @ 2:52pm
@Mystoria: Be patient, the update just came out. I have to look over it and see what changed.
Mystoria Sep 22 @ 3:36pm
@force728 update bro
Nacaat Sep 21 @ 12:17am
the ships are an absolute banger
XTERMINATOR06 Sep 15 @ 4:52am
About that energon abundance, doesn't help that I'm a dumbass who never added energon consumption in traits...
victoriousdread07 (private) Sep 14 @ 11:40pm
Quick idea: have you ever thought about making the autobot and decepticon traits cause crime when these pops are on the same world?
Zurog Sep 13 @ 11:22pm
please know your work does not go unappreciated, keep up the good work
whoami Sep 13 @ 6:39am
hey just wanted to say I love your mod, and I'm really happy to see it's alive! I've been playing with it the whole time before 4.0 which is about 300 hours, that's how much I enjoy :D
force728  [author] Sep 12 @ 2:31pm
@Cyph the Terrible: You're missing the Dark Energon armies tech research which unlocks the Corruptors.
Cyph the Terrible Sep 11 @ 11:23pm
How do I recruit Dark Energon Corrupters as a Hive Mind? I’m not a Transformers empire but do have Decepticon and Autobot empires active in Galaxy. Have researched Dark Energon Mining and just got Dark Energon Point Defence. I have a world with Dark Energon Refinery and two worlds with seeded Dark Energon crystals and at least one world with Dark Energon Mines building.
force728  [author] Sep 11 @ 4:30pm
@XTERMINATOR06: Thanks, I'm still figuring out how to make Energon be a rare resource for Transformers, but you'll naturally have an abundance of it when starting on Cybertronian worlds with energon districts. I could either increase the energon pop upkeep or reduce the amount created from jobs. I'll see what works.
XTERMINATOR06 Sep 11 @ 10:43am
Amazing mod, honestly closest we might get to a transformers strategy game. Only real thing I'd like to be improved would be energon balance, it feels like it is always in abundance. Just happy it's getting fixes for new updates
✧Starshadow Melody✧ Sep 7 @ 6:45pm
yeah that's the thing that absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SUCKS with active update games.
force728  [author] Sep 7 @ 5:01pm
@Колдун ♥♥♥♥♥♥!: Who can't find what? Also, if you have bug to report, post it in the bug reports thread, not here.

@Erwin Rommel: It's always possible, but since Pdx updates the game so frequently, I'm more focused on keeping this mod in working order. After I fix some other issues that came with 4.0, I'll think about adding more content in the future. Also, I'm not interested in creating a discord server at the moment.
