Update: Dec 25, 2020 @ 5:06pm

-New Update-

New event added to the Cybertron origin now named "Fall of Cybertron":
- This event is similar to the Doomsday origin where players will have to evacuate Cybertron before it goes completely offline.
-There will be four stages to this event and will add increasing negative modifiers to Cybertron and will alert you for each phase.
-Once the fourth stage is complete, Cybertron will change into a Cybertronian Graveyard and all pops on the planet will die if they are not evacuated in time (you must have a colony before the shutdown is complete or you will lose the game).
-You can recolonize Cybertron at any time and restore it using the Cybertron Project decision when you have the resources to complete the project. You can also complete the project before time runs out too.

The Hadean system has been altered to work with the event.

The planet Dread now has two modifiers: "Death Crystals" and "The Dread of Chaos".

Both Autobot and Decepticon shipsets are now NSC compatible.

Update: Dec 20, 2020 @ 3:47am

Large Update:

- After some feedback and consideration, I felt that the Transformers were not represented well using the gestalt machine intelligence authority, so I decided to make a hybrid version based on something similar to the Unofficial Machine & Synthetic Empire DLC that adds synthetic empires as origins. Through this method, Cybertronian factions are now able to choose regular government ethics, be affected by morale and pop happiness, while still retaining their mechanical forms.

-The Cybertronian trait is now tied to the Cybertronian portrait set and is required for this to work. If players want to play as a machine intelligence, they can still do so by selecting the Autobot or Decepticon portrait group below the Cybertronian one.

- Added a new strategic resource "Energon". This resource is vital for the production of Transformer-based armies. You can find energon deposits on asteroids, within nebulas, or uninhabitable worlds. For empires that use the Cybertronian trait, energon mining tech is available at the start of the game.

- Revamped Cybertronian armies: Both the Autobots and Decepticons have new army types including the addition of Seeker and Aerialbot squadrons that deal high morale and moderate collateral damage, but are less resilient than standard armies.

- Each Cybertronian army is now dependent on energon for upkeep instead of energy.

- New technology research for energon that boosts its capabilities and unlocks new edicts on using energon is available for all empires to research. Cybertronians get a headstart on this tech at the start of the game.

- New buildings: Cybertronian Energon Refinery and Energon Refinery: Both provide energon refiner jobs and produce energon, energy, and amenities. However, the Cybertronian version is more efficient at producing more energon.

- New deposit modifiers have been added to Cybertron to make use of the energon resource. Now Cybertronian worlds have cores that produce energon.

- Removed the tech prerequisites for deposit blockers to prevent compatibility issues. Also removed the normal starting blockers you get when you start a game from Cybertronian worlds.

-Added two shipsets for the Autobots and Decepticons respectively. However, some of the ship models still need work. Since there aren't that many models, both shipsets will still use vanilla stations, megastructures, and some ships from the base game but recolored to fit their respective aesthetic. No plans for a NSC patch. If you guys don't want the shipset at all, let me know and I'll remove it.

-Misc. alterations to portraits to improve quality.

Known Issues:
- Some of the shipset models may appear too bright or too dark based on the star system they are in. Light reflection will also be odd at times. I'll try to see if I can clear it up over time.

A lot of this update is a work in progress for these new additions, so let me know if you guys like the changes or if you find any bugs or balance issues.

Update: Nov 28, 2020 @ 3:54pm

11/28/2020

Known Issues:
- Cybertron doesn't have a machine planet sound effect when clicked. I'm looking for a solution to this.

Future Plans:
- Some portraits will still need to be worked on to improve their quality and consistency.
- Adding more portraits for both factions.
- Looking to expand the mod into adding Energon as a strategic resource and adding the All-Spark as part of a relic or archaeological dig event chain.
- Possibly adding prescripted empires for the two factions (depends on the feedback).
- Working on the citysets a bit more.

- Most of this is a work-in-progress mod so feedback is appreciated.
