A1.0 - V1.51 Changelog:
Visual Update
Replaced the explosion effects for most ship weapons from the tiny little "poofs" of fire we get when something explodes for something bigger, brighter and that lingers a bit longer so you can appreciate your handywork of sticking a rocket inside the thruster cowling of a CV.
> Flak rounds have larger versions of their old explosions.
> Artillery rounds produce a huge explosion with a cloud of smoke, visible from over a kilometer away.
> Rockets and Missiles produce a bright, expanding explosion with burning fragments. (Best explosion in the game, completely unused)

Devices and blocks when destroyed have similarly impressive effects. You know you've taken out a turret when it produces a large explosion and trails fire and smoke for a few seconds.
This also applies to thrusters, generators and fuel tanks. Shooting a fuel tank inside a POI makes such a nice explosion now.

Fine-tuned the explosion mechanics vs armor so that explosive weapons will deal slightly more damage to armor instead of making a small hole and just a little bit of damage around the impact point.

Hotfix
  • Updated system presets for players starting a new game to get new system types.
  • Reduced CPU Consumption of BA/CV Small Constructor from 10,000 to 5,000 CPU. Active power consumption is increased slightly to compensate.
  • Reduced EXP gained from Overseers and Abominations.
  • Enabled CV Pulse Laser Turrets inside planet's atmosphere, with a shorter range.
  • Enabled Secondary Firing Mode (Particle Beam) of CV Plasma Turrets inside planet's atmosphere, with a shorter range.

Big Update
  • Increased the HP of CV/BA O2 Tanks and Large Fuel Tanks.
  • Added new Elite Zirax Troops (Not in active use, so don't worry. This is largely to give Ravien some better troops to work with in higher level POIs for Reforged Eden)
    All elite troops wear a full suit of zirax armor with a helmet. They can climb walls and have a wider field of view. Their weapons are shorter ranged though.
    - Elite Soldier Zirax: Faster reaction times, faster movement while sprinting, higher HP and a better gun.
    - Elite Plasma Zirax: Same deal as the Elite soldier, wields a player Plasma Cannon. Acts as a combination of Laser and Rocket Zirax.
    - Elite Shotgun Zirax: A faster, stronger version of the shotgun zirax with an improved gun (that they drop).
    - Elite Marksman Zirax: A sniper zirax with a player's T1 sniper rifle. You will know fear, as well as how OP player weapons are compared to zirax ones.
  • Added Spore Drone for future Legacy planetary playfields. They're equipped with a disruptor cannon, but aren't particularly fast at lining up a shot so as long as you take them out before they orient themselves, they're not particularly dangerous.
  • Changed flamethrower to operate as a launcher type weapon (experimental). It has less spread fire and is better used aimed at the ground. It's not as noisy and easier to aim, but if you're not careful you'll set yourself on fire.
  • Buffed the Zirax Assault Rifle for players. It's better than a T2 Pulse Rifle now, but has limited durability and no repairs.
  • Zirax Turret Ammunition found in POIs (used to fire weapons on captured POIs) can now be deconstructed.
  • Increased drop rate of food (slightly) and some ammunitions by zirax troops.
  • Hydroponics Plots can be made in lower-tier constructors. Wood = Portable Constructor+, Concrete = HV constructor+, Steel = Small Base Constructor+.
  • Added some german localization to the Localization and improved some stuff.
  • T1 Repair Bay for Base can now repair to template.
  • Fixed numerous bugs... probably introduced many more.

  • Reworked the explosion damage so that explosions don't go right through armor blocks and destroy important stuff on the inside. This applies to both player and AI weapons.
    Explosions against armor will no longer destroy devices behind thin armor (outright), the shockwaves do still deal minor damage but it takes multiple hits to destroy any soft vitals, the armor will be long gone before that happens, in which case the exposed device will be easily destroyed.
    > Internal Thrusters, Decoy weapons and turrets are not protected by this change. (By design)
    > This only applies to external weapon detonations. Internal detonations by devices or anything struck by a projectile will explode with full power, taking out everything in the explosion radius.
  • Concrete has a variable resistance to explosions depending on the kind of explosive used. (Plasma deals less damage, artillery deals more damage, rockets vary based on type)
  • EMP-based weapons will now deal overload damage to generators, even through the hull in addition to shield damage. They deal no damage to blocks, but will affect buried generators near the impact point.
    The Artillery Turret's EMP shells (RMB) have a larger radius of effect. Allowing them to penetrate several layers of armor. With precise aiming, you can disable patrol vessels without taking out the core (so it doesn't self-destruct).

Fixed an oversight on the new Quantum CPU Extenders that would allow duping them for free (bad)
Allowed base attack drones the ability to dig (slowly) to reach buried cores.

Minor Hotfix and update
  • Added new Quantum CPU Extenders to replace the Advanced Cores in Legacy containers at a higher chance
    Quantum Extenders come in Large (+200,000 CPU limit) and Small (+6,000 CPU Limit), they have no placement limit so you can use as many as you want... or can hunt down.
  • Reduced drop rate of Fusion Cells and Medkits in Ultra Rare Loot containers. Doubled the chances of other items in Ultra rare loot containers like Optronics.
  • Fixed Pentaxid not being accepted by the Repair Bay for Gravity Generators and Teleporters.
  • Minor changes that I don't remember.

A12.3 - V1.46 Changelog:
  • Reduced CPU usage of Medium Jet Thruster, Large Jet Thruster, Improved Large Jet Thruster and Advanced Large Jet Thruster by 10%.
  • Increased Thrust of all SV and HV thrusters by 10%.
  • Further increased thrust output of Medium Jet Thrusters and above by 2.5%, 5%, 10% and 20%.
  • MK2 Jet thrusters now provide a bonus to Torque on top of boost, like they did in A11 RG. They have less thrust.
  • HV Medium Turbothrusters consume 10% less CPU.
  • Planetary Drones now appear on the map and minimap as faction-colored ship icons.
  • Carbon Composite Blocks (small) consume 33% less carbon composite.
  • Carbon Composite Blocks (large) consume 50% less carbon composite for earlygame bases. They have half durability to compensate.
  • Wooden Blocks consume 33% less wood, but are 25% less durable. (Equivalent exchange for you alchemists out there)
  • Concrete Blocks consume 50% less Cement.
  • Armored Concrete costs 25% less Cement, but costs 25% more steel plates.
  • Cement requires 25% less Rock Dust to craft. (Subject to change, since this has an effect elsewhere)
  • Fixed the firing sound effects of several drones so that you don't get silent weaponsfire for the second and third shot.
  • Cannon and Dual Cannon Drones also now have the sound effect of the Cannon Turret instead of the Artillery Turret.
  • Changed the sound effects of Zirax Soldiers and Zirax Snipers while firing.
  • Official Flamethrower is now being used by players instead of the RG one. The old one is still used by Flamethrower zirax until they're finished and bug-free.
    - Old flamethrowers in use by players will continue to function as normal. But will eventually be phased out and then removed. This will cause no issues for players, you don't need to start a new game.
    - Loot and NPC traders have already been adapted to use the new Flamethrower.
  • Redesignated Scrambled Eggs as it's own item instead of an overwrite to prevent confusion in MP where localizations are... unreliable.
  • Changed the icons for the Zirax Weapons dropped by zirax and buffed their effectiveness so they're slightly better than T2 weapons.
  • Reverted Zirax Turret model to "Companion Cube Cannon" models until they're fixed in Multiplayer since they don't fire at players anymore. (Eleon, Please fix!)
  • Halved growth time of crops due to an odd bug that causes crops to stop growing if there's too long of a delay between growth stages.
  • SV Railguns now produce an electrical flash when fired instead of the muzzle flash of a firearm.
  • Reduced the hp of Hangar Doors to prevent an exploit of players using doors as armor.
  • Many stat changes all over the place.

New Config File
This is there to prevent third-party files from breaking Reforged Galaxy. As of v1.46 there are now options in there that allow you to change settings in SP/MP.
Follow the instructions in the file to enable each option.

1: Easier drilling. Not too easy. It's only about double the normal mining speed for all drills and drill turrets.
2: Enable CV turrets on planets. Does not apply to fixed weapons, drill turrets and retrieve blocks mode of the multiturret.

A12.3 - V1.45 Changelog:
  • Fixed a bug where the SV Pulse Laser turret wasn't craftable because it had no designated constructor.
  • Added Scrambled Eggs for earlygame food as per request and because I had a leftover slot for a food item and a unique item icon that just happened to match.
  • Reduced CPU consumption of the large SV Jet Thrusters by 10%.
  • Deconstructors are now usable on CVs, but are over twice as heavy.
  • Zirax Turrets on captured POIs are now controllable.
  • Zirax Turret ammo can be found in ammo container loot boxes sometimes.
  • Medium Armor is now unlockable and craftable.
  • Buffed Player-Usable Zirax Weapons. They're slightly better than T2 weapons, but disposable.
  • Rearranged recipe order so that RG-added weapons and items are grouped with their fellows in the crafting list instead of at the bottom.
  • Updated Project Eden trader compatibility with Refinery Licenses.
  • Added a safety system to prevent external configs from interfering with RG and breaking people's savegames and clients.

A12.3 - V1.44 Changelog:
  • Fixed a bug with all hand drills not dealing correct damage to surface rocks.
  • Increased speed of all hand drills so they're not so grindy.
  • Increased radius of HV/SV Drills so you don't get stuck.
  • Removed Large Mechanical Drill and Laser Drill (HV) from SV Tech Tree, Replaced with new SV Laser Drill. You may need to adapt older builds.
  • Replaced new SV Minigun Turret with a gimble-mounted Pulse Laser turret for HV and SV that goes between minigun and plasma turrets.
  • Reverted Flamethrower back to old model and particle effects (again) due to a broken flamethrower model and particle effects. Sorry dudes.
  • Added new Combat Scanning to HV, SV and CV Detectors. This is a long-delay, short-ranged pulse with RMB that will keep what you detect with it visible on your HUD for 5 minutes instead of 1. Ideal for dogfighting space drones or players when you need to keep track of them without switching weapons... oh, and mining ore deposits.
  • Space Drones and Troop Transports now appear on Minimap and Radar as faction-colored SVs icons instead of red dots so you can tell them apart from patrol vessels, as well as tell their heading and orientation.
  • Patrol Vessels now appear as faction-colored SV Icons instead of red dots so you can tell them apart from drones as tell their heading and orientation.
  • Increased damage of Survival Tool vs trees so it takes less than half as long as it did before. You'll still want the chainsaw.
  • Adapted high RoF weapons to the new hardcap of 600 RPM.
  • Titanium Plates can be melted down into Titanium Ingots without jamming up your furnace now.
  • Metal Pieces can be melted down into neodymium instead of titanium now.
  • Bugfixes and Improvements.

A12.2 - V1.43 Changelog:

Important! This is for 12.2, not the Experimental 12.3. To add the 12.3 content would break the game for 12.2 users, so you guys on Experimental will have to wait or risk using 12.2 content. You may CoQ or error at trade stations that have the new human NPCs.

- Updated Reforged Galaxy's Localization files for the new content and in preparation for 12.3
- Reduced HP of Base Attack Drones
- Increased damage modifiers vs entities for Plasma and Rocket weapons (CV, SV, HV and BA) since they weren't accounting for the increased durability of drones.
- Upgraded Laser and Plasma drones into Interdictors and Interceptors. These guys are attack crafts that move like SV that you can dogfight against, they're a lot of fun.
- Interdictors, Interceptors, Surveyors, Disturbers, Laser Sentinels and Troop Transports no longer show up on radar as a red dot. They appear as Faction-colored SVs so you can easily tell their height, orientation and direction of travel.
- Patrol Vessels, Freighters and Warships now show up on your radar/minimap as faction-colored CVs instead of red dots.
- Rebalanced handheld Miniguns and other superfast-firing weapons to fit within the 12.3 RoF cap of 0.1, but I did a better job of it than the developers who have trouble with basic math. (Changing ONE number doesn't constitute a "fix". Recoil, ammo consumption and damage all need to be changed to match the new limits.)
- Reduced Power consumption on some CPU Extenders, mainly T4s.
- Rebalanced Hitpoints and Mass of SV and HV thrusters for better progression and performance. Small Jet thrusters are now more durable and lighter. Mass scales up, instead of being all wonky.
- Moved Rare SV Devices loot from Very Rare loot containers and into the Rare loot containers.
- Increased the duration that POIs and drones are detected by your ship-mounted detector so you don't need to ping so often.
- Various small changes and bugfixes

A12 - V1.42 Changelog:

- Updated Reforged Galaxy's Localization files with a completely new and bug-free version (thanks to Taelyn) that should now allow you to use it on servers without needing to delete the localization.
- Reverted Flamethrower model and particle effects until 12.3 when they've been stabilized. Sorry guys.
- Removed Epic Oxygen Booster due to a maximum count of boosters accepted by armors being exceeded. O2 is the least useful, so it had to be removed for Epic Radiation Booster to be usable in armors, which is more useful.
- Reduced damage modifiers of base attack drones by half vs base.
- Reduced hp of base attack drones by 500.
- Fixed a bug where Space Laser Drones were annihilating everything in their path by being equipped with legacy-strength laser cannons.
- Reduced damage modifier of space laser drones against shields.
- Fixed a bug with Light Armor's durability causing it to break in 5-6 hits.
- Added Legacy's Epic Laser Turret (CV/BA) and ammunition to Legacy Warships as loot. That's right, you can get those ultimate laser cannons for yourself now and they work in atmo for CVs.
- Increased damage of hand drills and ship-mounted drills vs surface rocks.
- Fixed approach distances for Flamethrower zirax so they don't just stand around while all the other zirax run to get into firing range... I hope.
- Increased HP of player-craftable Xenosteel blocks by 1000 hp.
- Fixed an exploit with station service prices.
- Increased Crushed Stone chance from terrain by 50% (relative to terrain material).
- Minor Bugfixes and Changes that I can't remember right now. It's 2:20am, I need sleep.

As always, you DO NOT need to start a new game with this update.
You only need to do that when Eleon releases a major version or there's a big update with Reforged Eden that adds a whole lotta content.
