Minor Changes:
- Added events for the fall and reconquest of Mecca. Taking Mecca as a non-Islamic faction will severely affect relations with all Islamic factions and Islamic factions will be destabilzed, similar to the effects of Rome falling out of Catholic hands.
- Age of Charlemagne/The Last Roman are no longer selectable for multiplayer campaigns.
- Implemented new event images for the Crusade events.
- Islamic factions now receive a moderate global diplomatic relation bonus with all other Islamic factions when controlling the region of Mecca.
- Mercenaries no longer use population.
- Population system optimizations. The population system should also no longer break if unsupported units (such as from submods) are used.
- Script support for new/changed units.
- The Bubonic Plague now causes major population loss in afflicted settlements.
- The following religions can now be targetted by crusades instead of just Sunni and Shia Islam: Baltic Paganism, Cathar Christianity, Catholic Heresies, and Ibadi Islam.
- The Timurid event-spawned armies now more commonly have siege engines, now including trebuchets in addition to the rockets they normally spawned with.

Bug Fixes:
- Added the 'Norwegian Pretenders' faction to the anti-horde pretender crash stopgap script.
- Fixed a crash in the main menu that sometimes occured when switching between panels.
- Fixed broken UI for Qara Qoyunlu's small faction logo on decision maps.
- Fixed missing event message text for forming empires after having formed a unique kingdom (i.e. Italy).
- Fixed the decisions for forming a Kingdom or Empire not being enabled in some cases.
- Fixed the following broken achievements:
- All the World's a Stage
- Rise of the Republic
- The Spice Must Flow
- There Can Only Be One
- World Conquest
- Fixed the effects on income/squalor from population not applying.
- Fixed various typos.
- Papal Favour system bugfixes.

Minor Changes:
- Updated population values for the new/changed units from last month's update.

Bug Fixes:
- Fixed Holy Roman Empire events still firing when all eligible factions in the Holy Roman Empire are puppet states to the emperor.
- Fixed the Duchy of Pomerania not being properly tracked as a starting vassal of Denmark for the 'Annex Vassals' mechanic.

- Fixed broken campaign localisation for the Ilkhanate's faction name.
- Fixed the 'Gathered Information' button for settlements having a broken image due to the addition of the 'Change Capital' button.
- The executable file for the 'Change Capital' script has been changed to now require .NET Framework instead of .NET Core, so it should be compatible with more users' systems.

Minor Changes:
- Added a button to change your faction's capital, though this will only work on Windows operating systems.
- Added incidents as a precursor to the Mongol and Timurid invasions for factions in their warpath, which will provide some warning of the imminent invasion.
- The Timurids now spawn with 16 armies instead of 9.

Bug Fixes:
- Fixed an issue where the multiplayer campaign script disclaimer's UI would fail to build and would block the multiplayer campaign menu.
- Fixed the Mongol preservation script triggering on turn 1 even when the Mongol armies had taken no damage, which would spawn additional armies for them unnecessarily.
- Fixed the Timurids immediately taking attrition when they spawn. They will now have free upkeep for 25 turns.

Minor Changes:
- Faction leaders at or above age 60 with no other characters alive in their faction will now have an heir spawned for them by the scripts, which should solve the issue of extremely old faction leaders. There appears to exist a bug in vanilla Attila where factions leaders that die of old age without any heirs will be replaced by a generated character who has the same exact age as the old faction leader, thus leading to a cycle of old faction leaders dying every 2 turns and being replaced by another older faction leader.

Bug Fixes:
- Fixed a bug where selecting your own faction in diplomacy would apply your own faction leader's nickname to the UI for the right side faction leader.
- Fixed the formation of the Kingdom of Spain requiring Portugese lands.
- Pressing the 'Increase Slots' button will now properly refresh the settlement panel. It was originally meant to do this but had been broken.
