# Terrain Affinity
- Some cultures gain boost in provinces that have a terrain they have an affinity for.

# Archaeology
- The Archaeology dig process can now fail if dig progress drops to zero after gaining any progress. If so, the dig will end.
- Added a secondary menu screen when starting a Archaeology dig, after having picked the region:
- You can now invest 250 ducats to narrow the artifact search down to a specific artifact found within the selected region.
- The reward roll if the dig is successful now will be between that specific artifact and the minor artifacts. The chance for the major artifact approximately 50%.
- Removed the Province Menu 'Advance Dig' action.
- Added "View Archaeological Expedition" decision whilst a dig is active.
- You can check current progress here.
- You can Advance Dig here, in exchange for 1 years of income. Can only be used once per year.
- Dig Progress goal is now 8 by default, and increases to 12 if a specific focus is chosen.
- Sources of Dig Progress boost now instead reduce the Dig Progress Goal value.

# Subject Management
- Added the ability to change a subject's contract to 'Subjugated Vassal' if the overlord has the Subjugation ideagroup fully complete.
- This subject type is mostly the same as vassal, but with -25 base liberty desire and removes the diplomatic relations slot usage.

# Relentless Conquest
- Certain nations can start a 'Relentless Conquest'. This will enable the ability to immediately conquer a province upon a successful siege. This ability lasts for 365 days, and cannot be used again for 10 years.
- Provinces taken will generate AE in all nations on the same continent as the conquerer, and any war enemies.
- Applies a debuff to Diplomatic Reputation whilst active, and a debuff to AE Impact whilst in cooldown.

# Magic
- Added random improvement events for Apitutde/Finesse/Concentration.
- Moved the Improvement/Degredation events to on_five_year_pulse random_events.
- Reduced the monarch power cost for spellcaster training.
- Reduced the monarch power cost for magical improvement.

# Ruler
- Reduced the monarch power cost for class training.
- Class training events now occur via on_bi_yearly_pulse.
- Choosing the non-training option 3 times will now cause the process to end.
- Added the ability to improve ruler ADM/DIP/MIL for an investment of ADM/DIP/MIL power.
- Starts at 120 for 0 -> 1, goes 240/360/480/600/720/840 for 2/3/4/5/6/7

# Aggressive Expansion
- Aggressive Expansion is now only applied to a nation if you have a province within their superregion. If not, then when your war ends, all AE they would accure is set to 0.

# Balance
- Reduced sources of administrative_efficiency.
- Reduced sources of all_power_cost.
- Increased base naval engagement width to 25
- Holy War CB now requires the Religious ideagroup unlock to appear (it used to be available for certain religion vs. religion combinations).
- Adjusted forcelimit sources to keep armies smaller for longer.
- Reduced forcelimit gained via development.
- Increased base forcelimit to 10 for army/navy.
- Adjusted various other small things that touch on forcelimit.
- Cost factor for going over forcelimit is much higher.
- Reduced forcelimit from Arsenal/Shipyard.
- Adjusted the spy network cost of the Espionage actions to make them more useful.
- Provoke Locals/Pretenders now unlock at DIP 8.
- Increased the drawbacks of Devastation.
- Increased potency of cavalry_power sources.

# Events
- Added an option to spend MIL power to end a Local Concern spawn immediately.
- Subject Management: Subject Extraction now scales based on subject development
- Added discovery events for the otherworldly realms so nations at war with them have those otherworldly realms revealed to them, removing Terra Incognita cover.
- Added "Bloodsail Buccaneers" event that allows Bloodsail to spawn in during games that start before 622.

# Decisions
- Added "Exploit Resources" decision, allowing low development nations to gain quick influx of ducats, in exchange for harsh interest increases for any future loans for 25 years.
- Added "Exploit Population" decision, allowing low development nations to gain a quick influx of manpower, in exchange for harsh manpower recovery penalties for 25 years.
- Reduced the ai_importance for all formable decisions so the AI is less likely to hate nations that are implicated in the formable requirements.
- Added "Give a Patriotic Speech" decision
- Added "Spread Propaganda amoung Population" decision
- Added "Incite Religious Conflict" decision
- Added "Organise Spy Hunt" decision

# Casus Belli
- Imperialism CB now only reduces AE and peace cost by -25%
- Cleanse Evil CB now only reduces AE and peace cost by -25%
- Draconic Fury CB now only reduces AE and peace cost by -25%
- Added the "Enforce Religion" CB: allows ROOT to change the state religion of FROM. Disallows province demands.

# Peace Terms
- Added "Subjugate" peace term, unlocked by completing the Subjugation ideagroup, which allows you to make the target a Subjugated Vassal.

# Disasters
- Increased the requirements for the Pandemic Outbreak to occur.
- Reduced the manpower cost for some of the Pandemic Outbreak event options.
- Added the "Veil of Suramar" disaster. This is a starting disaster for Suramar, that emulates their isolation. Whilst it is active, Suramar cannot be attacked but also cannot declare any wars either. The disaster can be removed by spending 500 ADM, DIP and MIL via a decision. The AI will only do this after year 650.

# Diplomatic Actions
- Added "Recall Army" diplomatic action, allowing the player to recall a blackflagged army in enemy territory when at peace.
- Increased the cost of "Teleport Army" to 150 MIL.
- "Spread Religion" diplomatic action: now cost costs 50 DIP
- "Spread Fel" diplomatic action: now costs 50 Unholy Influence. AI is now much more likely to select the MIL power loss option to the follow-up event.
- Added "Revoke Diplomatic Links" action: allows the removal of the Diplomatic Links bonus. The AI will use this if their opinion dips below 0 for the linked nation.
- Added "Sway the People" action.
- Added "Manipulate Opinion" action: allows you to reduce Aggressive Expansion with the target nation.
- Added "Demonic Bombardment action for the Grand Warlock: allows you to spawn special 'Demonic' rebels in the target nation. Each province they siege will award you Unholy Influence, and they will convert the province to Fel.
- "Corrupt Ruler" diplomatic action: now costs 50 Unholy Influence. AI is now much more likely to select the Stability loss option to the follow-up event. It is now a Grand Warlock exclusive action.
- Added "Purge Dissidence" action for the Grand Warlock: allows you to remove all Aggressive Expansion in a Fel nation towards you in exchange for 20 Unholy Influence.
- Added "Establish Command Centre" action for the Grand Warlock: costs 100 Unholy Influence, allows you to take ownership of a province in a Fel nation. Can only be used once per nation.

# Hegemons
- Military Hegemon now only requires 300 units.

# Religion
- Female rulers can now claim the Defender of the Faith title.
- Made the bonuses from Defender of the Faith the same for all tiers.
- Added "Irreligious" religion for the Farstriders.

- Added "From the Sea" casus belli for Naga and Murloc nations, letting them strike nearby nations (500 units) that have coastal provinces.
- Added "Mawsworm Invasion" CB for the Mawsworn. Allows easy invasion of Shadowlands nations, or any nation once the Helm of Domination has been destroyed.
- Destroying the Helm of Domination will now also shattered the dimensional barrier between Azeroth and the Shadowlands, revealing the lands to Azerothian nations, and vice versa, as well as permitting the Mawsworn to invade Azerothian nations.

- Adjusted the balance of a few MIL ideagroups to make the weaker ones more attractive.
- Capped Federation size based on leader development: 3 by default, 4 at 100 development, 5 at 200 development.
- Adjusted estate triggers so which are available for who makes more sense.
- Increased max estate privileges to 8.
- Removed the Patronize Guild estate action. The 4 estates it used to offer are now unlocked via random event.
- Added 50 year cooldown to the Curse of the Worgen disaster
- Limited the AI from picking the colonisation ideagroups after 6 nations have picked them.
- Seize Land interaction can now spawn rebels for each estate below 30 (instead of just one).
- Estate rebels are now unique to each estate. Losing to them will apply +20 influence for that estate for 10 years, take back 10 land, but will also restore 30 loyalty.
- Estate Coup is now easier to end, the uprising events are less common, and the rebels don't automatically win the provinces when spawned.
- Estate Coup now requires 95 influence in an estate to start
- Capped the Wants Your Provinces and Wants Subject Provinces debuffs to -25, to stop them messing up the intended diplomacy of the mod.
- Collapse of Draenor will no longer automatically happen after 650.
- Open Dimensional Portals is now available if any non-Orc, non-Fel nation owns the Dark Portal. Only AI Shadowmoon will use it however.
- Removed the development from construction effect from the Local Developments reform (replaced it with -5% Development Cost)
- Removed the improve tax/production/manpower building actions.
- Removed the Invasion Support diplomatic actions, as they are covered by the Teleport Army action now.
- Dalaran Eduction reform now grants access to the Teleport Army diplomatic action, even if the ruler is not a spellcaster.

- Reworked the Portal teleport (via the Portal building):
- "Traverse Portal" decision now brings up an event, where you select the starting portal, and then the destination portal.
- Now 'moves' units instantly.
- This grants the player finer control over the teleport, without enforcing annoying restrictions.
- The menu supports up-to 5 options, if more than 5 are valid start or end provinces, they are left out.
- Start provinces are valid if they have:
- Portal building
- An army in the province
- End provinces are valid if they have:
- Portal building
- No army in the province

- Added "Teleport Army" diplomatic action:
- Emulates the Portal teleport mechanic, but without need for the buildings, and the end province is enemy territory.
- Available to the off-world nations (or nations being attacked by them), or to a Epic/Legendary spellcaster.
- Costs 100 MIL to use, and has the same cooldown as the normal portal teleport (1 year).

- Added "Traverse Tunnel Network" diplomatic action:
- A version of "Teleport Army" but for Azjol-Nerub.
- Limited to Northrend provinces.

- Added "Traverse Tunnel Network" decision for Azjol-Nerub:
- Acts like the "Traverse Portal" decision, but without the need for portals.
- Limited to Northrend provinces.

- Added "Scout Territory" diplomatic action:
- Allows a country to lift the fog of war against warring enemy if it isn't already lifted.
- Costs 250 DIP to use.

- Changed Kul Tiras religion to Tidemother to better represent its actual religion.
