0.23.7 Hotfix!

0.23.7 Fixes/Changes :
  • -Fixed an issue with Elixir of Life causing it to heal too much, will now also be cancelled after taking damage. Drink animation is a bit slower too.

  • -Additional race check fixes.

  • -Timer events should now be more friendly on servers running "Logged Off Players remain in the world" settings, does not need to load any heavy logic for them. (This could also have been the cause of Constellation issues not applying properly on log in, previous race issues etc)

  • -Fixed an issue regarding Scriptures of Learning resetting trait point progress.

  • -Changed name of "Child of the Devourer" to "Daughter of the Devourer" to prevent confusion with a future boss. She also has increased clamp for her healing from dealing damage and deals a bit more health damage.

  • -Aspect of Ymir should now deal a bit more health damage.

  • -Reduced Clamp Max for Condemned Lifesteal slightly.

  • -EEWA Buffs now remove healing when they get applied, but does not prevent it.

  • -Guardian trait will now also reduce damage from EEWA buffs and bonus damage (like from Constellations and damage scaling).

  • -Added a Sandstorm Dweller that scales with player stats... perfect for the Sandstorm Ex mod.

  • -Increased armor penetration on a lot of Legendary weapons, please come with feedback if I overtuned these.

  • -You can now see Thunder effects on low settings.

  • -Increased bonus true damage on hit from Crushing Blow.

  • -Added buff colors.

  • -Earth Shatter will now cause Earth eruptions every 8 seconds while active.

  • -Augments will now work with any weapons. Except for Legendary, they still require Legendary Weapons.

  • -New Augment Popup

  • -Augment Incantations are now called Augment Scrolls and require slight less Augment Points to read.

  • -Augment Missions now require less goals to complete, but give slightly less Augment Points.

  • -Added Incantations (Currently 3, more in the future) that give buffs that will last until death (Remains on logout too). Crafted by the different Sorercers in the Witchbowl.

  • -Defensive Augments should now proc more reliably.

  • -Scripture of Augmentation is a new Scripture that gives 5 Augment Points. Can be earned from various quests.

  • -Increased chance for Guard's ??? to drop.

  • -Fixed an issue where Giant Snake Heads would not drop if you got a Skeleton Key from their Corpse.

  • -Outposts will now Forfeit on the timer hit if the player owning it is not online.

0.23.6 Hotfix!

0.23.6 Fixes/Changes :
  • -Fixed an issue with Max Stack items being bought over stack amount not adding up properly. Max Stack 1 Items (like weapons, armor) can now be max bought in quantities of 10. Other items are restricted to their respective max stack quantities. (To prevent issues with items, for some reason trying to add an item over max quantity will just ignore any extra amount over stack items)

  • -Fixed racial bonus issues where the gods were really sure you were a Cimmerian no matter what, they really wanted you to learn to make that Tannery before they reconsidered.

  • -Admin option to max out all traits.

  • -Trait system will now also count spent trait points. Which can now be regained by using Scroll of Re-learning (Previously Scroll of Unlearning). And it will only reset your traits, nothing else, like current unspent trait points etc... (Keep in mind the spent trait points were not implemented before this update so there is no possible way of calculating spent points for the system if you already spent some before this update)

  • -Fixed an issue with Dual Telith's Lament not being craftable.

  • -All Sorcery healing should now benefit from Priest bonus levels like intended.

0.23.5 New Purchase Menu!

0.23.5 Fixes/Changes :
  • -Fixed an issue where you could use the Catcher Hook on friendly thralls.

  • -Fixed several issues with drop on death options and kits should now not dissappear from dropped weapons / armor.

  • -Added racial bonuses, with stat buffs and trait bonuses. These can be found in character creation. Faction bonuses from AoC factions are now also a thing, you will get a different trait bonus depending on your faction. Both these can be disabled by admins. Info about bonuses may be found at any time in the EEWA Features Section on the top left.

  • -Blood Flow should now give Priest Trait Progress.

  • -Thorns from Templar Trait should now work like intended.

  • -Templar Trait default value increased to 1.5% from 1%.

  • -Increased chance to drop True Nemedian from 15% to 30%.

  • -Added new heavy attack to dual weapons, shieldbreak.

  • -Clamped heal from Condemned Weaponry. Max 60 hp per hit.

  • -Moved Lurker from sand meets jungle location a bit further back to prevent overlapping with the AoC camp.

  • -Added Vanilla Versions of Dual Weapons.

  • -Fixed an issue where some shield recipes used a handle instead of shield frame.

  • -New revamped shop with abillity to select amount to buy.

  • -Modified prices of several items (reductions and increases).

  • -Reduced damage of Elderwood bow.

  • -New trade items.

  • -Wandering Merchant is now implemented, he will walk Sepermeru -> Northwards -> Highlands -> Savannah -> Sepermeru. He has different items for sale every day. (Pathing in Conan can be a bit wonky, so he may act... weird.)

  • -Open for attack from Parries will now also knock down you down if you get hit and deals more damage which is based on strength.

  • -Added a re-apply Constellations button in the constellation window that will remove and re-add your constellation buffs.

  • -Cold Strike, a new slowing buff (30% slow, not negated by Set Constellation) is now applied with Star Obsidian weaponry as well as the Frostshot spell.

  • -Fixed an issue with Erond questline.

  • -New Questline Arcos by Noob River -> Wandering Merchant -> Erond (To lead players to the Perilous Valley)

  • -Improved Lightning Surge Bonus and duration.

0.23.3 Fixes/Changes :
  • -Fixed an issue where Religion Requirements for Ascension and Quest Item Rewards options were automatically disabled after changing any admin settings.

  • -Blood Stained Journal was removed as it is no longer used in the game.

  • -Fixed Council Armorer Recipes and added more Armorer types for Council Armorers.

  • -Reduced health and armor of some enemies and increased experience you gain from them.

  • -Progression damage for Sorcery should always be 1.0, Accuracy or Strength should not affect Sorcery damage anymore.

  • -Not killing the spawned enemies from the Child of the Devourer before they expire will heal her for their current health.

  • -Child of the Devourer spawns now deal more damage but has less health.

  • -Child of the Devourer now deals more health % damage and heals for slightly more.

  • -I heard everyone's complaints, not enough dynamic beards on enemies. So I changed the model on the Decayed and added dynamic beards to them. 50/50 if they get beard and the color is randomized! THE FUTURE IS HERE

  • -Decayed will now have weapons based on their faction.

  • -Fixed some bugs related to quest tracker. Repeatable quests will remain on the tracker when completing them, as well.

  • -You can now set Screen Location and Scale for Quest Tracker via the Quest Log.

  • -Oblivion Constructs may now spawn in the Volcano.

  • -Some small changes to the Meruvian Dungeon and Perilous Valley in EL.

  • -Baron now deals less damage. He has also gotten a bigger Hitbox so he is now easier to hit.

  • -Stashes may now drop upto 3 Scrim.

  • -Stashes have a random timer after server startup before they can be opened. After a stash has opened, it is now longer before it can be opened again.

  • -Increased experience gained from several quests.

  • -New quests at Bastille, and a new small area Southeast on the map, close to the Sandswept Ruins / Spawns with some new enemies. Must follow this questline to be able to damage the boss in the new area.

  • -All breaker boots from the mod will keep the old Karmic effect.

0.23.2 Traits and Quests Improvements

New features :

Quests

Quests are a new feature that can be picked up at dialogue NPCs and tracked in the quest feature in the EEWA options (available on the right side of hotbar in your inventory)

Once the quest requirements have been met, speaking to the dialogue NPC who gave you the quest will turn it in.

You will usually get rewarded with a new quest, as well as experience and item rewards.



Traits

Traits are a type of learning by doing system, where you can increase the different traits, like berserker, which increases the damage with one handed melee weapons by damaging enemies with said weapon type.

There are currently 8 traits to level, and 2 more coming in the future. Each trait can be leveled to max 10 and you can level 35 total trait levels.

Admins can also edit the bonuses of all the traits, how much experience you gain, if the system should be enabled and if it will work in PvP.

Default bonuses per trait levels
  • -Demonologist : 15% increased sorcery damage per trait level
  • -Priest : 6% increased sorcery healing per trait level
  • -Shaman : 2% decreased mana costs per trait level
  • -Barbarian : 5% increased melee 1h damage per trait level
  • -Conqueror : 5% increased melee 2h damage per trait level
  • -Guardian : 2% damage taken returned as health per trait level
  • -Ranger : 4% increased ranged weapon damage per trait level
  • -Templar : 1% lifesteal and damage returned to attacker per trait level



0.23.2 Fixes/Changes :
  • -Added the option for admins to disable Items rewarded through quests.

  • -Added the option for admins to disable the Religion T3 requirements for Ascending.

  • -You can now attack faster after parrying with the parry knife.

  • -You can now track a quest at a time (going to allow more to be tracked in future)

  • -Added a lot of backend structure to allow other modders to use EEWA quest system to create their own quest for EEWA if the mod is on the server. (Keep an eye on modding Discord)

  • -Added two repeatable quests, one after completing the Egor questline and one for Scrim Collector.

  • -Improved some Aura code, should now properly dissappear on death.

  • -Demon King should now be more present, he liked to drift away during appointments. That said he does still tell his peers that Conan Collision bothers him a lot these days... (keep in mind the issues with mobs appearing in the middle of the map is still a Funcom issue that they are looking into)

  • -Meruvian Sentries can now spawn in all Meruvian spawn locations.

  • -Vathis now has quests that he gives out using the new backend interface for EEWA. As well as a repeatable quest. (Going to add quests to all vanilla story NPCs in the future)

  • -Shadow Legion Armor should now have insulation like other armors.

  • -People with Constellations prior to the Quest / Trait update will now automatically gain the Ascension completion status if they have a Constellation unlocked.

  • -Stop, drop and roll, Burning buff is active for longer but can now have it's timer reduced by dodging.

  • -Outposts, Quests and Skelos Challenges now grant Trait Point Progress too. Quests will scale on the amount of experience they give for the Trait Point Progress.

  • -Templar trait will now also gain progress by damaging enemies while wielding a shield.

  • -Modified trait system backend a bit, you should be able to gain trait progress more often now.

  • -Pumpkins in Exiled Lands Perilous Valley will be visible today during thanksgiving.

  • -Fixed an issue not making it possible to craft Chaos Mixture and reduced the amount of Grey Lotus flowers needed in the Dark Lotus Mixture to 1.

  • -Courage and Set Constellation should now apply properly with two handed weapons and bows again. Trruncheons, unless you modded them for damage (why would you do that?) should not apply Crippling Poison (tested this thourougly)

  • -New Constellation Icons.

  • -To Ascend, now requires you to have all the Religions in Tier 3 learned.

  • -Increased Priest trait progress from healing aura, but only applies when actually healing.

  • -Some small UI improvements.

0.23.0 Fixes/Changes :
  • -Manticore has now been replaced by the Child of the Devourer, a new boss based on a Siptah boss, more fair to fight against while still remaining challenging.

  • -Skelos Shard Challenges should now also give xp, not just rp, on completion.

  • -New enemies in the Shattered Springs on Exiled Lands, with new dialogue NPC, Thulmak that will also give you a quest.

  • -New Lotus pastes needed to make Chaos Paste which is now used for spellbooks. Lotus Flower Kits can be bought from Thulmak and now has increased max flowers per Kit.

  • -Making spellbooks requires 2 more Skelos Shards now (increase is because of quests and stashes)

  • -New locked stashes around the world.

  • -Coldshot slow replaced with short cripple.

  • -Removed negative Agillity penalty from Icebreaker and reduced Vitality bonus to 30 from 50

  • -Kingdom has increased bonus from Grit but set a cap for max bonus damage it can recieve from grit.

  • -Made changes to purchase menu to be a bit more compact.

  • -Added same Scrim options in higher quantities at Scrim Collector. (Shop rework in the future)

  • -Handheld Ymir Totems went from 0.4 weight to 0.05 weight.

  • -Reduced intervals for mana regen (faster mana regen)

  • -Fixed an issue with Human bone applying an old, no longer existing buff.

  • -Baron will now only knock enemies up with his smashes. His other attacks will only do a normal short stun.

  • -Fixed the insane amount of blood that Hanuman Altar produces.

  • -Fixed the thrall death pit in the Ancient Cave (Sipath and EL).

  • -Fixed the recipe for melting Honor Tokens.

  • -Concussive Weapons should no longer apply Crippling Poison from the Set Constellation.

  • -Fixed a long standing issue where the bonus from Mitra's Constellation would not apply to healing sorcery properly, should now.

  • -Possible fix to movement speed based buffs not applying properly on login.

  • -Several new admin options regarding the new Trait System, as well as admins now being able to change the EEWA buff damage and EEWA buff heal multipliers.

  • -Looking at revamping Augments in a future update as well. Removing the requirement for High Grade or Legendary weapons, but having unique slots for Legendary weapons.

0.22.18 Fixes/Changes :
  • -Fix for a variable returning to 0 because of DevKit shenanigans, was causing Aspect of Ymir to get oneshot.

  • -Crude Blacksmiths and the Crude Blacksmith's Bench has been renamed to Valiant instead. Model rework will come down the line.

  • -Valiant Blacksmith's may now be used in all Blacksmith's Benches.

  • -Scrim Collector can now also trade Demonic Horn of Secrets for Scrim.

  • -Using a Coin Mold and 90 Honor Tokens from AoC you can now make a Token of Choice in the Nether Furnace.

  • -Fixed an issue with dialogue NPCs where if someone died while talking to them, no one could talk to that NPC again until server restart.

0.22.17 Fixes/Changes :
  • -Fix for parrying dagger not working as intended.

  • -Fix for Darksaber not working as intended.

  • -Fix for Imperial Lemurian Sword having too much damage.

  • -Added last upcoming feature button into Endgame section.

  • -Increased healing amount for spells over time but the ticks are slower to help balance out both PvP and PvE.

  • -Backend for Trait System has been implemented and will most likely arrive soon.

  • -Added a function to Ymir in case he decides to regenerate his health. He will return to his last known hp when taking damage again.

  • -Master Explorer is now unlocked at Level 60 instead of 75, for the servers that don't use leveling mods.

  • -New Secret.
