Update: Dec 3, 2024 @ 11:02pm

Version is 2.6.3

Bug Fixes, Changes, and Adjustments
  • Fixed Black Dragon Hasta's Stat Based Damage Type ID

  • Fixed the 3rd heavy attack with Hasta (no offhand) so you can more easily dodge out of it like most other non-finisher attacks.

  • Javelinier's no longer do a very delayed attack. They now only have two attacks, a charged up one that is just long enough to do full damage, and a quick throwing one.

  • Minor icon adjustments

Additions
  • Added a Purple Lotus Javelin. Can be gained from the same source as the Purple Lotus Orb feat.

  • Added Javelinier's to Merayah.

  • Added Gigi the Twitching Javelinier to the Lemurian camps and Ninja of the 6th Javeliniers to Asuran spawns. These followers are the only thrallable Javelinier's currently in the mod. They come with special Javelinier Javelins for their use. This Javelin is useless on any other thrall, unles given to a Javelinier. They will then throw the Javelin at a distance appropriate to a ranged attacker with this Javelin.

  • Added 4 Javelinier's Javelins. They are Stone, Ancient, Lemurian, and Star Metal versions. They are unlocked at the same time as their normal variants are unlocked.

Update: Oct 29, 2024 @ 1:45am

Version is 2.6.2

Bug Fixes, Changes, and Adjustments
  • Fixed the Weapon Schematic for the Warhasta of the Black Circle (R)

  • Mordlun Hasta will use the proper idle animation now

  • Kingslayer Hasta will correctly show in the Blacksmith Bench when using filtering.

  • Fixed multiple feats that weren't showing up correctly in the Feat window after learning them

  • Fixed several unique based Javelins/Hastas that weren't correctly being able to dismantle

  • Minor clean up of old no longer used files

  • Fixed the Balanced Iron Hasta so that it is using the correct mesh

  • Players who use Hasta's are now able to perform fatalities

  • Updated animations to incoporate updated turning amounts as of Chapter 3/4

  • Updated the kick attack to match vanilla changes

  • Javelins, Hastas, and Offhand Javelins will now display correctly in the "Zingaran Mercenary Camp Weapon Rack" (acquired via the Battle Pass for Season 2, Chapter 4).

  • Fixed various loot table issues

  • Adjusted the animation timings on the Offhand Javelin block. My testing shows that this helps prevent the block part being stuck with Thralls that use this weapon and initiate a block. I am unsure if it prevents all instances of this, but in dozens of testing with both the shield and the Offhand Javelin, I was unable to get an instance where the Thrall got stuck in the blocking animation.

  • Javelin Improved NPC's will now correctly patrol/eat/sleep/etc like vanilla NPC's.

  • Fixed one of the Purge Javelinier's so that they correctly throw a normal Javelin rather than an explosive Javelin. Other Javelinier's will continue to throw explosive Javelin's as intended.

  • Renamed Fighter of Multi (Description) to just "Fighter of Multi" as the updated combo system makes the prior differences irrelevant.

  • All Javelinier's in Purges will now correctly throw Javelins only unless in melee range, as intended

  • Javelinier's now use Hasta's in short range instead of 2 handed pikes

  • All Javelin Improved Thrall's will now correctly use more advanced movesets in combat

  • All Vanilla Thralls (or modded Thralls that use vanilla Professions) will now use more advanced movesets when using Javelins or Hastas.

  • Updated Modifier (Description Only) for the Light Javelin to better reflect what it does.

  • The Grim Javelin and the Grim Hasta can now drop from Rapid Milly on the Isle of Siptah

  • Delving Bench and Spear Research Bench are now separated. Players may now delve for recipes that are delve compatible (Siptah based weapons). Any weapon in the mod that has a recipe can still be researched via the Spear Research Bench (including delve recipes).

  • Venom-Infused recipes, Blackened Tusk Shield, Riptide (R), Ymirs True Targe, and Warhasta of the Black Circle (R) can now be found as possible recipe drops on the Isle of Siptah vaults. They have also been removed from the Voidforge as possible rewards.

  • Minor stat changes to a small selection of weapons (weight, etc)

  • Javelin Improved Guide has been updated

Additions
  • None for this update

Update: Dec 15, 2023 @ 12:50pm

Version is 2.6.1

Bug Fixes, Changes, and Adjustments
  • Added additional turn instructions to Javelin Improved animations to match vanilla changes

  • Updated the deconstruction materials on Unique/Legendary gear to match vanilla changes.

  • Updated the drop loot on Javelin Improved NPC's to match vanilla changes from a previous update.

  • Recompiled for the latest version of Conan Exiles

Additions
  • Added Darty the Confused Smith as a possible Blacksmith thrall for Darfari. It is a Bladesmith (Damage Focused)

Update: Sep 21, 2023 @ 6:54am

Version is 2.6.0

Bug Fixes, Changes, and Adjustments
  • Hardened steel weapons have been set to Epic to match vanilla changes

  • Abyssal weapons are now set to Unique to match vanilla changes

  • Black Ice weapons have had their recipe adjusted to match vanilla changes

  • Fixed an animation issue with the charged throw attack for the Javelin

  • Fixed issue with Voidforge Javelin

  • Grim Javelin and Hasta have been corrected to legendary weapons (I had them set to Epic by mistake). They both now do escalating damage, and have been balanced to reflect that speciality.

  • Updated various tags on the weapons as needed (impacts loot drops)

  • Blunted Javelin and Hasta of Justice can no longer be repaired as they are legendary weapons.

  • Venom-Infused Shield is now correctly crafted on an Armorsmith's Bench

  • Bloodstone weapon recipes have been changed

  • Blunted Javelin and Hasta of Justice now also offer Plundering as a modifier.

  • Enhanced Warhasta has been renamed to Warhasta of the Black Circle (R)

  • Enhanced Glowing weapons have been renamed to Star Metal X (Glowing)

  • Enhanced Glowing Lantern Shield has been renamed to Lantern Shield (Glowing)

  • Projectile damage has been balanced (buffed) to Chapter 2 standards.

  • Added the turn combat changes in Chapter 2, as well as adjusted hyper armor to match (which was mostly gutted in vanilla).

  • Blackened Tusk Shield Feat now correctly has a Legendary icon border instead of a Unique icon border.

  • Javelin and Hasta of the Warmaker have had their stats reduced to match vanilla changes

  • Fixed an issue with Javelins and Hasta's being able to use the base game illusion system and interchage between each type. Now Javelins will only transmog with other Javelins, and Hasta's with Hasta's. As intended. Credit to Xevyr for figuring it out.

  • Fixed a few feats and weapon schematics that weren't being unlocked correctly

  • Added several schematics to the Spear Research Bench pool.

  • Updated loot tables for Javelin Improved NPCs.

  • Updated NPC tags for Javelin Improved NPCs.

  • Cleaned up some unused files

  • Changed the running animation when using an offhand javelin.

  • Updated the recipe for the Explosive and Healing Javelins. It now requires the Basic Iron Javelin instead of a Star Metal Javelin.

  • Changed the Explosive Javelin icon to better identify it at a glance.

  • Balanced the Perfected weapons to match vanilla changes

  • Changed all known Thunnha drops to only drop 1 instead of 5-10 since this mod changes stack sizes (due to the durability changes, no ammo use anymore, and being able to add mod kits to the weapons). Note: I was only able to find 2 loot tables with Thunnha Javelins in them, there could be others. Its nearly impossible to search them.

Loot stacks also don't affect other mods if they set up custom loot tables. I can only control whats in the devkit.

  • Changed the Spear Research Bench so that it now accepts all weapons found in the mod as research, and will reward Eldarium based rewards as well as the other rewards that have already been offered. The Delving Bench will no longer be able to be used for researching purposes or rewards for weapons found in this mod because of that.

I made this change so that it will be less confusing to players. I may revisit this based on feedback.

  • Provided a temporary fix for the 'Warsmith' Journey step to Craft an Epic Weapon and Armor. This is a vanilla bug, but I felt it was appropriate to fix temporarily via my mods since players craft weapons and armors (shields) found in this mod. It has been reported to Funcom for them to eventually fix as well.

  • Added the Weapon Handle recipe to the One-Handed Spears Epic feat to match vanilla weapon feats.

  • All Legendary weapons have been moved back to drop tables. The original recipes for them have been removed. Players may still craft them via Javelin Improved Tier 4 thralls at great cost. Here is the list of changes and where to have a chance at each weapon

    • Blunted Javelin and Hasta of Justice - Priest King (EL) or Reanimated Giant King (Siptah)
    • Black Dragon Hasta, The Grim Javelin & Hasta, The Impaler Hasta, Warhasta of the Black Circle, - Legendary Chests (EL & Siptah)
    • Diseased Javelin & Infectious Hasta - Snarling Monstrosity (Siptah)
    • Ghast Weapons and Ghost Shield - Abandoned City Skeleton Bosses (EL)
    • Lifeblood Hasta and Long Fang weapons - Abandoned City Red Mother (EL)
    • Mordlun Hasta & Sandblasted Shield - Warmaker's Adjutant (EL) or Reanimated Giant King (Siptah)
    • Pristine Khari Weapons - Khari Remnant (EL)

  • The original Legendary Feat has been removed.

  • The Venom-Infused, Blackened Tusk Shield, Ymir's True Targe, Riptide (R), and Warmaster of the Black Circle (R) recipes are now in the Library of Esoterics (Exile Lands). The Voidforge, Blackened Tusk Shield, Ymir's True Targe, Riptide (R), and Warmaster of the Black Circle (R) recipes are available in the Voidforge (Isle of Siptah).

Additions
  • Added Blackheart Javelin and Hasta. Learned from the same place Blackheart weapons are.

  • Added Stygian Offhand Javelins.

  • Added several Javelin/Hasta Purge thralls to the Purge spawn tables. Players will now have random chances to face enemies with Javelins/Hasta's in all forms (no offhand, shield, offhand javelins) during the Purge. This also includes Javelinier's that will only throw Javelins when facing them while using a 2 handed spear in melee combat.

  • Added a Javelin styled "Encounter" that can randomly spawn in during the Purge. The enemies that spawn with this Encounter are Javelin throwing enemies that will only throw Javelins at a distance. Upon getting close to these NPCs, they will switch to using a 2 handed spear. Those brave enough to trigger a Tier 10 Purge will have a random chance at facing enemies armed with Explosive Javelins!

  • Added 2 possible Tier 4 Fighter thralls that can only be found via the NPC cage rewards found in the Purge. These Tier 4 Fighters utilize the vast number of custom combos that Javelin Improved Blacksmith and Armorer crafter Followers have always been able to utilize (and what makes them so hard to fight!). One of them uses combos best used with a Javelin or Hasta with no offhand (Spear Icon by itself). While the other one (Spear Icon with Shield) is best used with an offhand weapon (Shield, Throwing Axe, or Offhand Javelins).

  • Added a Light Javelin. Recipe is learned via the Specialist Javelins feat.

  • Added Tier1-4 Unique weapons to various loot tables to match vanilla.

Update: Aug 14, 2023 @ 3:26am

Version is 2.5.41

Bug Fixes, Changes, and Adjustments
  • Updated missile damage for various weapons so that they do the proper amount for its tier.

  • Increased throwing damage of the Javelin by 20% for all throw types. Will likely revisit this in Chapter 2 of Age of War after some time to observe.

  • Various weapons will now properly display they they are normal weapons instead of Legendary (was just a text description error).

  • Several weapons had various stats corrected so that they were properly balanced for Age of War (human error in my case, either I missed them or did typos). That's the TLDR,, but here is the full list for those that want that (Note: The Javelin Improved Google Spreadsheet has all of the weapon stats as they should be):

    • Setite Javelin stats corrected across the board
    • Basic Iron Shortened Offhand Javelin durability correction
    • Hardened Steel Shortened Offhand Javelin armor pen correction
    • Steel Shortened Offhand Javelin now uses the correct ammo type
    • All Long Offhand Javelins now correctly display that they can be used for blocking rather then throwing
    • Feroxic Javelin & Hasta no longer has additional modifiers (% bonuses to agility/strength) and instead just has poison damage
    • Javelin of the Great Wolf now only does 5% bonus to agility (removed bonus to strength)
    • Hasta of the Great Wolf now only does 5% bonus to strength (removed bonus to agility)
    • Hunter's Hasta now does +15 stamina, +20 armor, and +20 health
    • Impaling Hasta durability correction
    • Incarmine Javelin/Hasta no longer provides + health bonus
    • Khari Javelin/hasta reduced down to 3% bonus agility/strength
    • Hasta of Nergal weight correction
    • Reach of the Warrior Javelin/Hassta reduced down to 3.5% bonus agility/strength
    • Reach of the Warrior stamina correction
    • Spire Hasta weight correction
    • Star Metal Blunted Hasta stamina correction
    • Voidforge Javelin stats corrected across the board. It also no longer has bonus stats and now only does escalating damage
    • Bloodstone Shield now does frostbite on block
    • Ghast Offhand Javelin now does gouging damage on block.
    • Dragonslayer Javelin stamina correction
    • Dragonslayer Javelin/Hasta reduced to +25 armor bonus
    • Dragonslayer Javelin/Hasta now properly label that they do sunder damage
    • Enhanced Glowing Lantern Shield had its bonus armor removed but still retains health and stamina bonuses
    • Hasta of the Warmaker stamina correction

  • None for this update

Update: Aug 11, 2023 @ 1:45am

Version is 2.5.4

Bug Fixes, Changes, and Adjustments
  • All weapons have been balanced to match vanilla changes for Season 2 Chapter 1 (Age of War). This was a large undertaking. You can expect every single weapon to have had some level of change. That means damage, stamina costs, durability, weight, special perks of the weapon, reclassification of the weapon (Epic, Unique, Legendary) and etc.

Some things were buffed, others nerfed. And the way that is done is by matching Funcom balancing using an Excel spreadsheet. There is a solid chance that some weapons are going to be underpowered, and some overpowered. Until I am confident Funcom doesn't plan on going through and massively changing things (again), that's just the way it is. If or when things stabilize, then I'll go through and do tweaks to my own weapons as necessary at that point. But for now, I'm letting the math in the Excel spreadsheet drive the numbers and we'll go from there.

I've done my best to match things up with vanilla as I always have, while also taking liberty to be creative where I feel its necessary. For example Dragonbone weapons now do Sunder damage to match with vanilla. The following patch notes does not include every single change that has been done. But I have done my best to outline things of particular note.

  • Changed the name of the Improved weapons to Perfected to match Funcom weapons.

I was originally told or under the impression that Perfected was a temporary name. It does not appear that was the case, so for the time being I am matching with vanilla.

  • Ancient Lemurian weapons have had their heat insulated benefits removed and had cripple given to them to match vanilla.

  • Black Dragon Hasta no longer provides + health, + stamina, or + armor. Instead, it now does bleed damage and scales its damage based on agility instead of strength (to match Black Dragon Pike).

  • Gavain's Rusty Hasta now does Diseased damage instead of Heated damage (to match Gavain's Rusty Pike).

  • Black Ice Shield now does Frigid Bite on block

  • The follow weapons have been reclassified from Legendary to something else, and thus no longer have a secondary method in which they can be made.
    • Acidic Javelin
    • Ancient Lemurian Javelin & Hasta
    • Angerspike Javelin
    • Bitter Bite Javelin
    • Blasphemous Javelin
    • Bloodstone Javelin & Hasta (also requires Frost Temple Smithy to craft now)
    • Depraved Javelin & Hasta
    • Dragonslayer Javelin & Hasta
    • Draining Javelin
    • Feroxic Javelin & Hasta
    • Javelin & Hasta of the Great Wolf
    • Grim Javelin & Hasta
    • Hunter's Hasta
    • Impaling Javelin & Hasta
    • Incarmine Javelin & Hasta
    • Khari Javelin & Hasta
    • Javelin & Hasta of the Legion
    • Metal-Eater Hasta
    • Javelin & Hasta of Nergal
    • Javelins & Hasta of the Outer Dark
    • Reach of the Warrior - Javelin/Hasta
    • Spire Javelin & Hasta
    • Venom-Infused Javelins & Hasta
    • Voidforge Javelin & Hasta

  • Removed various Javelin/Hasta feats from being auto learned from vanilla feats as they were learned from other avenues (mostly Eldarium based weapons. I added the ability to research Eldarium scrolls using Javelins and Hasta's a couple of versions ago.)

  • Can no longer repair Unique or Legendary weapons using Fragments of Power. Weapons can still be dismantled for a Fragment of Power. To match vanilla, neither can be repaired at all. Players who wish to be able to repair those weapons will need to use my Legendary Improvement And Restoration mod.

  • Changed/improved the glowing elements and texture of the Enhanced Glowing Lantern Shield

  • Various bug fixes, recipe changes, clean up, etc. Kept vague due to character limit

  • Split the Khari and Pristine Khari feats up as normal Khari weapons are no longer legendary

  • Spectral Javelins have been renamed to Ghast Javelins to better match vanilla versions

  • Ghast Javelin/Offhand Javelins feats are now their own seperate feat to match other similar feats in the mod

  • Removed the ThunnHa Javelin (R) as it's not needed anymore

  • Fixed Gameplay Tags on various weapons so that they should properly display on weapon racks

  • Updated item descriptions on various weapons

  • Improved some collision boxes on various combo animations.

  • Improved the animation on the charged throw so that it's no longer extremely stiff

  • Changed the special attack combo for Javelin (no offhand), it is now:

Light Attack, Heavy Attack, Light Attack, Heavy Attack, Light Attack, Light Attack

  • Various attack animations have been changed for, Javelin (no offhand), Javelin (Shield), Hasta (no offhand), Hasta (shield)

Nothing has been drastically changed for the above. Its mostly a single attack animation that has been swapped out here and there.

  • Javelin/Hasta + Offhand Axe/Javelin has seen the most animation changes. Hasta no longer does jumping attacks as it is not an agile weapon (the only exception for this is the light attack finisher on the Hasta + NO offhand).

  • Updated all animations to match Age of War changes. Of particular note, the only light attacks that have status effects now are the jumping attack animation on the Javelin/Hasta finisher, and light attacks (but not always) found in a special move (6 step combo). Status effects will always apply during heavy attacks.

    Javelin/Hasta + no Offhand = Bleed & a little Cripple
    Javelin/Hasta + Shield = Bleed, Sunder
    Javelin/Hasta + Offhand Axe/Javelin = Cripple & a little Bleed

  • Special Moves can still be performed, however due to the stamina changes in Chapter 1, players will need to invest a great deal into Grit to do so. Though as before, performing a full Special Move will be rewarding.

  • Sprint attacks no longer do any type of knockdown due to stamina changes.

  • Long Offhanded Javelins now block attacks and can no longer be thrown. Short Offhanded Javelins remain the same.

Additions
  • Added Bloodstone Offhand Javelins and a Bloodstone Shield
  • Added a Ghast Shield
  • Added a Venom-Infused Shield

Update: Apr 18, 2023 @ 8:03pm

Version is 2.5.32

Bug Fixes, Changes, and Adjustments
  • Corrected the durability on the Sharp Iron Corseque Javelin and Sharp Iron Corseque Hasta

  • Corrected the durability on the Spectral Shortened Offhand Javelin

  • Fixed the text modifiers for the Spectral Offhand Javelin

  • Added the Spectral Offhand Javelin and Spectral Shortened Offhand Javelin to be useable as Research on the Spear Research Bench.

  • Added the Improved Hardened Steel Javelins and Hasta to be useable as Research on the Delving Bench.

  • Updated the combos when using a Javelin or Hasta so that it will properly trigger Journey steps.

  • Fixed the Abyssal weapons and shield so that they will properly be removed from the hotbar once their decay timer runs out.

  • Fixed the Abyssal weapons and shield so that they no longer take significant chunks of their timer away anytime a player hits an enemy or blocks an attack.

  • Abyssal weapons should no longer appear on the players corpse to be picked up following a death.

  • Updated Journey step triggers when crafting Javelins or Hastas.

  • Reduced the weight of the Explosive and Healing Javelins.

  • Fixed various issues with the combo animations of the Hasta. NPC's in particular should perform midly better when using Hastas.

Additions
  • Added recipes for Hasta based Golem Arms. Can craft with a Shield Arm as well.

Known Issue: At this time, there is no physical way to prevent all Golems from being able to use the Shield, that includes 2 handed weapon variant Golems. If a solution is found for this, I will update the mod to reflect this.

In terms of the moveset, the Golem will always perform as if it is using a Shield. There is some back end reasons for this that unless you are a mod creator versed in how combos work it would take too long to explain. The good news I suppose in that regard is that the Golem being a Golem, it doesn't look to weird to not use a Shield. But players will be doing themselves a diservice by not using a Shield as it will come with damage, armor, and HP bonuses.

  • A second, Javelin Improved Golem recipe can now be found in the Golem Crafting Stations. The major differences between vanilla and the Javelin Improved Golem is that the Javelin Improved Golem has been set up to use a more advanced moveset to take advantage of Hasta and Shield. That includes the 6 step combos players can use.

Players may still use the normal Golem with the Hasta, or can use the Javelin Improved Golem with vanilla weapons if they felt like it (no real downside to doing the latter). However by using the normal Golem, the Golem will lose access to the more advanced move sets.

Update: Mar 14, 2023 @ 6:46am

Version is 2.5.31

Bug Fixes, Changes, and Adjustments
  • Updated gameplay tags on all weapons in the mod to reflect vanilla changes

  • Adjusted the stamina costs for heavy sprint attacks when using a javelin or hasta with an offhanded weapon to reflect the changes I did in the previous update to the other combos.

  • Adjusted the hitbox on the Hasta (No Offhand) Special Attack 6th combo so that it should feel more accurate when fighting a group of enemies.

  • Reduce the stamina cost on the heavy attack/throw of the Spectral Javelin by about 10%.

  • Reduced the damage bonus when throwing Javelins by 20%. And reduced the stamina cost when throwing all Javelins by roughly 45%

Reasoning here is that the numbers I set were prior to Sorcery and Corruption builds. It was also before I introduced charged throwing. I still feel like throwing should do more damage then vanilla, but as always I think a cost should come with that in the form of stamina.

  • Assigned new crafting groups to Javelin Improved Followers to match vanilla changes. (Which means Funcom created new crafting benches that required a new crafting group and followers only can craft on those benches if they have said crafting group).

  • Updated the Spectral Javelin icon to hopefully make it more visible to what it sorta kinda looks like when actually used (still not accurate as I would like it to be. But taking screenshots with ghosty images is difficult, to say the least).

  • Updated the position for Javelins and Hastas found in the mod so that they display correctly on vanilla Weapon Display Racks with Funcom's newer code.

Note: I did not test every single Javelin, Offhanded Javelin, or Hasta. There is potentially some outliers. If there are, please let me know which ones with a screenshot and I'll fix it in a future update to the mod.

  • Minor fixes to things like slightly incorrect recipe costs, typos in text descriptions, and etc.

  • Fixed mounted combat when using Javelins or Hasta. They now use the 1 Handed Axe animations for attacking.

We tried very hard to restore the ability to use the Spear animations when using mounted combat. But for various reasons, it just isn't possible to set up custom weapons to use those specific animations. The only way I can update the mod in the future to use those animations is if Funcom makes mounted combat far more mod friendly then it currently is.

So far now and for the forseable future, I've set it up to use the 1 Handed Axe animations as they are the only animation sets where the Javelin/Hasta will sit on the back of the player correctly and work in combat.

  • Fixed icons for the Offhand Javelins on the Steel and Hardened Steel tier

  • Changed the recipe for the Infectious Hasta since there is a strong possibility that the Infecious Reach (original recipe requirement) is not obtainable on the Isle of Siptah as the NPC that drops it may not spawn.

  • Fixed the crafting location for the Grim Hasta.

  • Fixed the LOD's on the Ancient Hasta mesh.

  • Fully removed the Javelin Improved Shard (a legacy item from other mod versions I removed some time ago).

  • Recompiled for the latest version of Conan Exiles

Additions
  • Added Spectral Offhand Javelin variants. They are learned in the same feat as the Spectral Javelin (which has also been appropriately renamed to Spectral Javelins).

  • Added Offhand Javelin variants for the Iron Corseque tier.

  • Added Javelin/Hasta Feat rewards to the new Journey system. For now, I've only added these to existing Journey rewards (Soldier, Steelsmith, Hardened Steel Smith). I may create unique Journeys for the mod in future updates, but that will not be for a while if so.

Update: Feb 7, 2023 @ 10:42am

Version is 2.5.3

Bug Fixes, Changes, and Adjustments
  • Added NPC tags to all Javelin Improved thralls to match their appropriate faction. That means Javelin Improved Thralls are now unlikely to want to initiate combat with their own faction.

  • Various small undocumented changes (due to character limit).

  • Added the new Funcom unequip animation to the Javelin and Hasta. I also gave the Offhand Javelins the same unequip animation is a shield as it most closely resembled what it would look like (insert wishing I were an animater here).

  • The Hasta equipped on the character back will now display in a better position then before when using vanilla weapon display setting.

  • Javelin Improved Tier 4 Armorer thralls (Durability) now correctly have the recipe for the Legendary Armor Patch Kit.

  • Updated two shield attack animations to reflect Funcom's own changes with the 1 handed sword and shield

  • Kick when using the Javelin or Hasta has gotten a slight buff and improvements. This was an attempt to make it more viable to use, more difficult to fight against when NPCs use it, and make the Sorcery Corrupt perk to Kick also more viable.

    • It now does more damage (not a big boost to this.)

    • Kick can be used at any point in a combo chain far more easily now.

    • The stagger/knockback effect is now more significant.

    • If a Kick is used on the 4th attack of a Combo, it will result in a Knockdown of the opponent. The knockdown will also result when used on the 4th, 5th, or 6th attack of a Special Move.

    • Hasta Kick animation is now the same as the Javelin's.

  • Blunted attacks have been reduced in effectiveness when using the Blunted Javelin Or Blunted Hasta options. Not a significant nerf.

  • Sprint Attack stamina costs have been reduced, some very significantly. Some moves still will cost a decent chunk of stamina, but no longer the entire stamina bar.

  • Wild Javelin Improved NPC's have had their combo attacks adjusted along with what they can spawn in with for an offhand.

  • Updated the spawn in weapons and armor for some Javelin Improved wild thralls (but not all). This is Pass #1 where more changes will likely occur in the future.

  • Abyssal Javelins and Hasta have had their bonus damage with Agility and Strength reduced from 50% down to 20%. Shield has been reduced from 40% to 10%.

  • Fixed a few weapon modifier descriptions to more accurately reflect the weapon bonuses as well as updated others to remove modifiers that were left over.

  • Abyssal Weapons will now Auto-Learn when the Abyssal Maul is also learned.

Note: This is not retroactive. If player has already learned the Maul but not the Abyssal weapons from this mod, the feats will need to be given out to players manually via something like Pippi. Alternatively, if admin, the admin can type to learn all the Abyssal weapons from the mod:

    LearnFeat 6999808
    LearnFeat 6999814

  • Old Exceptional and Flawless weapons have now been completely removed from the mod. If players still held onto these weapons, they will likely result in black boxes being left over and will need to be thrown out.

  • Ghostly Shield, Long Fanf of the Red Mother Javelins, and Spectral Javelin have had their recipe costs changed.

  • Removed Corrupted Bone from any outdated recipe requirements since it cannot be acquired without the Admin Panel

  • Changed the name of the Abyssal Javelin feat to Abyssal One-Handed Spears to better reflect the reward.

  • Blunted One-Handed Spears of Justice is now a hidden feat.

  • The Hasta of Epemitreus now does regeneration when used. Its damage has been adjusted to compensate for this, as well as the recipe costs.

This might just be a place holder for now. Need longer time to come up with a different solution.

  • Fixed the secondary Riptide (R) recipe so that it will properly show up on a Javelin Improved Blacksmith when the primary recipe has been learned.

  • Fixed issues with some weapons not correctly being able to be dismantled or used in the Delving Bench.

  • The few weapons that had the Flag for "Lose Max Durability on Repair" has had this disabled for that weapon.

  • Some Javelins and Hastas can now (finally) be used to research Delving recipes (I wanted to set this up for a long time, but every time I checked, it was bugged. At some point Funcom fixed it, and here we are). Here is the list of weapons that are compatible with the Delving Bench (One-Handed Spears includes Javelins, Hastas, and both off-hand Javelins).

Note: For ease of use, Javelins and Hastas all use the same reward pool. That means that researching a Hasta may reveal a Javelin only recipe, and vice versa.

    • Star Metal One-Handed Spears
    • Hardened Steel One-Handed Spears
    • Depraved One-Handed Spears (also a possible scroll reward)
    • Hunter's Hasta (also a possible scroll reward)

Additions
  • Introducing the Spear Research Bench. Similar to the Delving Bench, players may use this to research weapons not found in the Delving Bench. This is essentially almost every hidden Feat found in this mod. This means there are multiple ways to learn many of the Feats found in this mod! This also makes it easier to get recipes found only on Siptah on the Exile Lands, and vice versa.

To use the station, place a catalist compatible Javelin, Offhand Javelin, or Hasta into the bench. Add 100 Alchemical Base, and that's it. The reward will give the player a random schematic.

Everything that what works on the Delving Bench won't work on the new bench, but everything else will.

The reward list can be found on the Javelin Improved Guide (Please visit the discord for the link). To summarize, its essentially most of the Feats that are hidden.

The Spear Research Bench can be learned on both the Exile Lands and the Isle of Siptah. For the Exile Lands, learning the Library of Esoteric Artifacts feat will automatically reward the recipe. On the Isle of Siptah, learning the Delving Bench feat will automatically reward the recipe. If a player has already learned these recipes, it is not retroactive. Players will need to be given the Feat manually. Admins can do this by typing into the CMD.

    LearnFeat 6997050

For other players, admins can use something like Pippi to reward the Feat. Or for both admins and players, admins may spawn in a schematic for it directly - Schematic (Spear Research Bench).

Note: For ease of use, Javelins and Hastas all use the same reward pool. That means that researching a Hasta may reveal a Javelin only recipe, and vice versa. Unique Shields in this mod can also be found as a reward by using Javelins or Hastas as a catalyst. Unfortunately I am unable to set up vanilla Shields as a catalyst for these due to conflicts with the Delving Table. Finally, while the name of the bench is "Spear", this is only for One-Handed Spears, not anything to do with the vanilla 2 handed Spears.

Known Issues
  • Mounted combat with Javelins and Hastas is currently broken. Additional time is needed to determine if its fixable.
