  • Metal Gear ZEKE slightly cheaper to build.
  • Cost of upgrading Metal Gear ZEKE with salvage decreased.

Bugfix for previous update.

Update: Oct 8, 2014 @ 10:57am

Update:

  • Fixed critical issues with Lua scripts which caused them to not run properly.
  • Metal Gear did not have its modifiers for Faith and Gold purchasing properly set when the mod was converted to SQL. This was corrected.
  • MSF, Diamond Dogs, and Outer Heaven now properly have the "start first along ocean" tag, like Venice. This ensures they are chosen first amongst Civilizations to start on a coast.
  • Added information about the Stealth Operative's new penalty on defense.

Update: Sep 23, 2014 @ 3:12pm

Update:

  • Leader's name changed to Naked Snake to thematically support Events and Decisions. (You'll have to scroll down a bit further to find him in the Civilization selection screen!)
  • Mod converted to SQL.
  • Support for Sukritact's Events and Decisions.
  • Support for YNAEMP Giant Earth map.
  • When DLL - Various Mod Components is loaded, the game will use its mission handler instead of the purely Lua-based solution used normally. This will help with multiplayer compatibility.
  • No longer replaces TopPanel.lua.
  • Salvage now has a unique icon, rather than the Combat Strength icon.
  • Mercenary gold is now unaffected by your Capital's Gold rate modifier.
  • Raised the Salvage costs of leveling up by a small amount.
  • Fixed issue which allowed the Metal Gear Upgrade button to be clicked infinitely.
  • Optimized code; particularly if Big Boss is not present in the game.
  • Stealth Operatives now have a 25% penalty on defense.
  • Number of free starting units reduced by 1.
  • If you happen to lose your Capital, you'll find your means of revenge, no matter the cost...

Update: Mar 21, 2014 @ 11:12pm

Update:

  • City capture now properly provides Salvage again.

Update: Mar 3, 2014 @ 3:32pm

Major Update.

  • Can no longer purchase in puppet states with gold.
  • The additional units granted at the beginning of the game are maintenance-free.
  • "Mother Base XP" has been renamed to "Salvage".
  • AI earns Salvage more quickly.
  • Increased Mother Base Salvage requirements across the board.
  • Mother Base upgrades which increase military unit production, Palace yields, or Food/city growth have been greatly improved.
  • Can no longer upgrade Modern Armors into Metal Gears. (They can, however, be upgraded into standard Giant Death Robots once Nuclear Fusion is researched.)
  • Only one Metal Gear may be owned at a time.
  • AI's boldness value increased, to make its likelihood of attempting to conquer its neighbors more likely.
  • Metal Gear Hangars will no longer appear in puppet states.
  • Erroneous Happiness bonuses from Mother Base removed.
  • Updated loading screen introduction text.
  • Multiple Big Bosses can now be present on the same map. Their mercenary income, salvage gain, and Mother Base levels will be independently tracked.
  • MSF may now use "On-Site Procurement Upgrades". This enables a unit to utilize Salvage to upgrade to its next unit class, even outside of your borders. The cost is five times the unit's Strength. If the unit normally requires a Strategic Resource to upgrade, it will still require them to use an OSP Upgrade.
  • When Mother Base is at its maximum level, you may spend additional earned Salvage to increase the Combat Strength of your Metal Gear by 10, if it is garrisoned in your Capital.
  • Fixed issue with Gold from mercenary units not updating until the gold tooltip was brought up.
  • Salvage will continue to be tracked upon reaching level 21.

Update: Oct 27, 2013 @ 11:28am

Update:

  • Fixed an issue in which Outer Ops barbarians spawning would displace your units from their tiles, which was causing instant deaths of Great Generals, loss of fortification bonuses, and other issues.
  • Outer Ops spawn rate lowered slightly.
  • To alleviate the early game difficulty of this civilization, and to provide its AI with a more competitive advantage, the Civilization now starts with additional units at the beginning of the game. You will receive two melee/gunpowder units and one ranged unit. Coup Staging Operatives for later-era starts are now replaced with Siege units which already have the Cover I and Indirect Fire promotions. The units provided correspond with the game's start era.
  • The Collective Rule policy now also grants a free Siege unit with Cover I and Indirect Fire. The unit granted is based on your currently researched technologies, but it will not grant Rocket Artillery due to its need for Aluminum, as well as for balance.
