v1.8 "Final Cut" Beta 2 (again)

- Reverted to Final Cut beta 2 because of a new bug with the modding tools preventing me from repacking the mod without the game crashing on startup

The update is postponed until the modding tools are fixed. I will continue working on it, so the mod should go out of beta around the same time.

Planned features for 1.8:
- new "Siege" scenario featuring Dragoslav the army deserter
- tweaks to the other scenarios to include bombings and other features from the Stories dlcs
- tweaks to the new locations variants (the ones added in beta 1, listed below)
- re-written dlc characters endings and kids very bad endings (dead/lost)

v1.8 "Final Cut" Beta 2

- Map tweaks: changed the city layout so furthest locations are more likely to be blocked
- Ported back the scarcer resources for all scenarios, including the new one with Livia
- Changed two scenarios starting characters to include to dlc ones (Anja/Adam and Malik/Esma)

v1.8 "Final Cut" Beta 1

- Reworked all the map pack to include the 8 new locations; most Stories locations added in 1.7 are still available as location variants (1 new location and 11 variants):

  • Looted Gas Station → default / crashed army truck(ws2)
  • Brother's House(ws1) → Riverside Cottage
  • Ruined Block of Flats → default / bandits(ws2)
  • Military Outpost → default / colonel(ws3)
  • Construction Site → ambush / snipers / drug addicts(ws3)
  • Supermarket → rapist / scavengers / trader(ws3)
  • Central Square → sniper / traders / prisoners(ws2)
  • Toy Store → scavenger / hostage(ws1)
  • Park → kids / sniper(ws2)
  • Bakery → robbers / snitch(ws2)
  • Brewery → assaulted girl / shelled refuge(ws2)
  • Samuel Institute → refuge / massacre(ws3)
Info: The Final Cut locations are the Pharmacy, Ruined Toy Store, Park, Bakery, Shelled Brewery, Samuel Institute, Railway Station, Music Club. 5 of them now have an alternate version (variant).

v1.7 "Fading Embers" Release

Main features:
- Added DLC characters to all scenarios: Adam, Malik&Esma, and Anja may join the shelter like the other characters. Ruben and Zoran might be available later (both are kinda weak)
- Added a unique character trait to most DLC characters:

  • ADAM → Lost (susceptible to suicide and more affected when dealing with kids)
  • ESMA → Pacifist (weak in combat and abhors stealing/killing)
  • ANJA → Hardened (less affected by bad events unless they affect others)
  • RUBEN → Survivor (not affected when killing soldiers but very affected when innocents die)
- Added new shelter: Anja's House (atelier shelter)
- Added two new songs from Fading Embers: home song (extended version of Anja's Theme) and good ending song (Anja's Ending)

Tweaks/Bug fixes:
- Soldiers can take twice more damage before dying (their bullet-proof vest works now)
- Enemies can check noise more than one at a time (?)
- Added an ending event for Park (one of the new locations)

☒Bug: The new dlc characters don't have any ending yet (need to be re-written to fit generic scenarios)
☒ Samuel Institute, Construction Site (drug addicts), Railway Station and Military Outpost (colonel) are only available in the debug scenario at the moment
