1.15 Update - Basic compatibility fix
- Some mod features and changes are disabled until full update (especially Germany related changes)
- Many things were fixed in the patch 1.15, so they were removed from the mod

Historical Germany will take some different focuses and will attack Benelux properly in April/May
It will stop wasting PP by improving relations (unless it has plenty of)

- Fixed a case in decisions where if AI war support dropped enough and it was still in low manpower law it would become simultaneously blocked from increasing conscription (due to low war support) and improving war support (due to 'saving' PP for manpower law it cannot even take) as well – often affected Germany and Soviets who have huge losses and then couldn't get more manpower
- Fixed some wrong/missing modules in German heavy fighter and tactical bomber presets
- Fixed some wrong modules and AI weights in German navy presets – this should stop AI from trying to 'retrofit' ships with worse engines, different armor, build outdated ships instead of new etc...
- Further optimised German AI industry buildup (mid/late game)
- tweaked the German/Soviet war a bit more

1.14.10 update
Germany
- Improved German AI and its war with USSR – it will no longer mindlessly attack all the time, instead (after initial Blitzkrieg) it will attack much more conservatively and actually recuperate and wait until launching next attack (this should fix the AI being stuck in endless suicide attacks)
- will pull troops from Africa (& other useless theaters) sooner to be ready for the war with Soviet Union (mostly affects 1939 scenario)
- prompted Germany to always go the Blitzkrieg path of MW land doctrine instead of alternating between the two (if Hist.focus is on)
- will no longer ignore enemy planes in France killing all its trains

Other:
- Japan will research and use medium tanks more (uses mixed light/medium templates)
- Belgium will start mobilising (training more troops) if Germany and France end up at war – it should have about double the army size in 1940 compared to vanilla (closer to historical numbers)
- Modified historical Australia Focus tree path: skipped many useless and generic focuses in favor of getting rid of great depression and unlock conscription earlier (which in itself is more historical)
- Australia will also build some more dockyards, so with extra troops it should not be so useless anymore
- Switched USA AI to use Dispersed Industry rather than concentrated – the AI keeps switching factories all the time, so this helps it, also seems more historical
- prompted Hungary to always use the Mobile Warfare doctrine
- minor fixes to some equipment presets (tanks, planes)
- modified historical Czechoslovakia focus tree path (mostly so that correct forts are constructed and AI gets medium tanks), modified more historical unit templates
- Romania, Hungary and other minors will use maintenance company in its templates to try capturing enemy equipment (historical, and surprisingly effective)
- smaller countries in SEA region will use cheaper, no fuel, less EQ heavy infantry templates
- added a temporary fix for Italy getting 2 land doctrines at the same time (a bug, AI can switch to another land doctrine without losing the previous one)
- allies will not swarm Yugoslavia and Greece with divisions in historical mode

General:
-Modified research weights and added some AI blocks for Air Techs, so the AI researches all relevant tech and not just 1 - so for example smaller nations won't end up having 1940 fighters and no engine (or even worse – no guns) to attach to them (this was often the case with Britain's puppets)
- minor changes to what AI majors research (will not rush AT techs so much)

UI:
- fixed UI not assigning correct default airplane icons: Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Yugoslavia, Romania, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Raj, Poland, France, Italy
- added custom historical tank presets for New Zealand, Hungary, Romania & Czechoslovakia (replacing generic)

1.14.8 update
Note: The latest war effort patch made some changes to files that this mod uses and it made the game very unstable with old mod version. Sadly just updating the mod didn't help much – if you encounter CTDs with this mod, starting a new game is required to fix the issues. Then it should no longer CTD (as the game now uses the new files).

Japan Air Rework:
-Added custom historical plane presets for all types of aircraft (only generic previously)
-The new presets the AI now uses have much better range, helping cover China and the pacific more effectively
-Fixed the plane icons and 3D models– now the correct ones are assigned automatically
-Japan AI will stop randomly picking the Air Strategic Destruction doctrine
-Fixed Japan not producing any carrier aircraft for extended periods, and as a result having useless half-empty carriers
-Many minor Japan AI tweaks for research, idea selections, production

Canada AI improvement:
-Small changes to historical focus tree path
-AI will build infrastructure in Québec to enable and do the resource decision
-AI will produce more Strategic Bombers and convoys

-Removed the Petsamo fix as it is now fixed in the base game
-Fixed British CAS aircraft having 2 engines instead of (IRL) 1, assigned a correct 3D model
-Fixed generic Maritime patrols presets being too heavy to create (required engine increased by 1 level)

- added non-generic German Scout plane presets (and Hs-126 will use correct icon)
- modified late German AI infantry template to be larger and more powerful (useful for attacking SOV)
- Added an AI script for German AI to stop attacking United Kingdom in the air if it loses too many planes there and there is no point in trying further. Instead it saves the rest for the Barbarossa (historical focus, Battle of Britain) – this change considerably improves the AI's ability to push into SU early on.
USA Tank Presets:
Modified a lot of presets to be historically accurate, fixed many errors (wrong modules, engine types, armament, suspension types...)
M4 Sherman split into early Sherman and late, upgraded Sherman M4A3E8
Fixed T-95 superheavy template not being visible
-Some tweaks in AI research priorities

- slightly improved how AI changes manpower laws, it should no longer happen that AI runs straight for Scrapping the Barrel just because it quickly lost a lot of manpower, even when lower law would be sufficient
- 'unblocked' the US resource prospecting decisions, AI should build up the resources now (previously there was a rule that blocked the AI from taking them unless it has 200+ PP = virtually never)
- ENG will try to build more dockyards before the war (esp. in 1939 scenario where it doesn't build any)
- reverted a change in USA/UK not attacking Vichy, now they attack it again (late 1942)
- changed German Modern jet medium bomber to have correct modules and icon/ 3D model (Ar 234)
- US AI will prioritize hiring Silent Workhorse, as they're constantly out of PP
- small AIs blocked from researching (for AI useless) armored car – this should reduce the market spam


Improved Phoney war AI behavior:
- English RAF and its allies will respect the 'Phoney War' and not fanatically bomb Germany during this period (and lose all their air forces there, then having nothing to defend themselves with once France capitulates)
- German Luftwaffe will leave Allies alone for a while too (until spring 1940), saving it for attack

1.14.7 update
- German AI will try to help Italy if it is being invaded and not let it just die so easily (historical games)
- German AI will research and use rocket artillery in its infatry template
- German AI will stockpile a bit more equipment before attacking USSR, so it won't 'run out of steam' so quickly
- Reduced the amount of aircraft and tanks Germany produces (was producing a bit too many and running out of resources / not producing other important things, still more than vanilla though)
- minor changes to some AI unit templates
- Modified the modern German aircraft presets – Me-262; also added He-162, Me-163 Komet and
Me-262 HG II historical templates (couldn't set the correct icons/models unfortunately, but you can do it manually)
- tweaks in German tank presets (added late Panzer IV and Panther variants)
- added modern British aircraft presets and set to use the correct icons/models (Meteor, Canberra, Valiant) – AI will use them too
- fixed british Lincoln (strat bomber 3) bomber preset being too heavy to produce
- Tweaked USA fighter templates to include bomb-locks (so they can all be used as CAS and have same roles), also fixed AI not wanting to use late carrier fighters and sticking to old designs instead
- Modified some Soviet heavy tank presets so they're buildable (previously impossible due to 4 kph speed limit)
- Fixed AI issue – no one wanting to join Italy in their war against Ethiopia and Greece (even if other Axis members and Allies are already at war, seems to be a malfunctioning trigger)
- Fixed Denmark triggering an unhistorical war between Japan and Soviet Union by declaring independence (happens due to Germany being guaranteed by Japan, workaround fix)
- changed AI variable for default training level of units, AI should now train them to 100% and not 95% if possible (so way less 'green' troops in the field, WIP as AI still can deploy untrained units)
- Prompted AI Nationalist Spain to build and keep a larger army (to enable AI sending volunteers and be safer in case of joining a war)
- fixed default French fighter icons/models
- removed some outdated AI tweaks

1.14.5 update
- Minor fixes to British Aircraft templates
- Made all Commonwealth subjects use British aircraft templates instead of generic
- Fixed incorrect airplane icons for Canada

- Improved USA Airplane preset templates and fixed UI assigning wrong icons/models, added some additional templates (postwar), improved existing to be more historically accurate
- Germany AI will focus more on killing Greece first, before attacking USSR (hist.focus on)
- Some minor changes to what AI researches, some techs given higher priority, some lower
- Fixed Beaufighter (UK heavy fighter 1940) preset being too heavy to create
- Italy won't establish Albanian puppet Regime until 1941 in historical games (this is due to some bug affecting Italy, it refuses to call this Albanian puppet to war with Greece and thus can't attack it from land)

1.14.3 Update
General:
- Added workaround for AI not designing any SPG/TD templates – only for Germany & Soviets for now, AI should slowly build some again
- AI will stop wasting PP on exiled governments and certain other decisions if it is still stuck on Civilian Economy (This mostly affected historical UK and USA)
- Fixed Finland losing Petsamo after the Winter War (fixed the event)
- some adjustments to AI research priorities (railroaded AI to take certain important techs sooner)

Soviet Union:
- Added many real aircraft presets replacing the generic ones and fixed the icons/models all defaulting to the same old interwar (many used icons/models require Eastern Front Planes DLC)
- the newer T-34 preset renamed to T-34-85
- will not use some propaganda decisions early as they're useless (no need for extra resources, fuel etc.)
- they will also not taky many decisions when needing PP for annexing Baltics and Bessarabia (this should hopefully fix cases when AI is unable to annex them all in time in historical)

Other countries:
- UK will now keep more of their troops in its home territory when invasion is possible (France hostile or the northern french states are occupied by someone hostile)
- Germany will not rush Denmark occupation decisions so much if historical focus is on
