Braving Hazards:

You can choose to let the script handle Braving Hazards for you. Each ship and fleet have a new button (!) Brave Hazard. Place a Ship/Fleet onto a Hazardous System, or onto a Hazardous Exploration card, then click the (!) Brave Hazard button.

Clicking this will cause the ship to scan what it is sitting on. It will identify face up Exploration cards with Hazards as well as Hazardous Systems. If no Hazard is detected, you can click the Hazard level manually from 3 to 6.

The script will calculate Shields and follow special rules from Fleets and Phenomenon. Example: If the Borg are in the game and successfully Braving the Transwarp Condiut produces Research, the script will roll for a new cube.

Research is auto collected if the script handles the Hazard.

You always choose to ignore the (!) button and handle Hazards yourself.

Update: Jan 11, 2020 @ 12:36am

bugfix:
--changed SpaceLane deployment back to "non-smooth" movement. The smooth movement was nice, but it broke the ability for space lanes to connect to existing systems. Connecting Space Lanes to existing Systems should now work like it did before.

changes:
--changed the middle button on Space Lanes to a delete button. They can now easily be deleted by the button if you decide not to use them. Once they connect, the delete button becomes the usual menu button (<>).

--When you place a control node on a system with resources, the game automatically collects those resources to your control panel. If research was collected, they game reminds you that you could place that research onto a project if you want.

--added a settings panel below the rulebooks. This is a work in progress. It displays current game information, but will be expanded to allow users to reset the script if it crashes mid game.

Update: Jan 10, 2020 @ 1:38am

--command tokens now auto snap to their positions when dropped into the player area.

--starbases now rotate along with the floating system they are attached to.

--clicking YES on successful Hegemony or Invasion prompts from the Turn Card will pull out a Control Node to place on the newly acquired planet.

--all factions are prompted if an invasion was successful, but only Cardassians get +1 culture when clicking YES.

Update: Jan 9, 2020 @ 12:57am

--changed space lane movement to smooth. This should stop knocking and flipping things arouund on the board when space lanes are moved around.

Update: Jan 8, 2020 @ 10:07pm

enhancements:

--Ship Buttons: Each ship now has a button like it did in the older version. Clicking the button will prompt you to destroy the ship. It's easier than dragging the ship back to its supply bag, and safer than hitting the delete button. (Note it is safe to delete ships and nodes, the game adjusts its count accordingly.)

--Dominion BattleShips now track and display their Hull value. You can adjust Hull with the +/- buttons.

--Advancement decks can now be flipped upside down to get at the botttom card. Previously, they continually snapped back to facedown position when touching the player area. Now if faceup, the deck will not auto snap until flipped back to face down.

Bug Fixes:

--I noticed when watching Meyor's twitch stream, that the components were getting stuck just outside their bags instead of transporting in to their assigned location. Unlocking the component manually freed it to move to its assigned spot. I've added additional code to unlock the components as they leave the bag and force them to transport to their assigned location before locking again. I think this will fix the glitch. I cannot seem to repliate it on my own, but I have seen it happen in 2 different streamed games. hope it is fixed!

Update: Jan 5, 2020 @ 6:23pm

minor enhancements:
--Trill will now automatically grant +1 Culture to the Player that discovers it (as per it's text).
--Systems with Text will broadcast a reminder about their special rule/text when discovered.

Update: Jan 5, 2020 @ 3:00pm

minor bug fixes:
--Dominion Fleets were micro bouncing constantly. Turning off Non-Convex on their objects has stopped this. Verified all other Ships/Fleets/Control Nodes already had Non-Convex turned off.
--Cardassian Fleet#1 had older version of code. Is updated to current now.

Update: Jan 3, 2020 @ 6:06pm

bug fix:
--fixed an issue when that causes the game to fail when loading from a second saved game.
--fixed (hopefully) a random glitch when loading the game. Sometimes it spams tons of errors associated with Ship and Control Node Supplies. I think it happens when the game tries to activate objects before Global has finished loading. The objects will simply ignore events until Global signals it has finished loading.
--adjusted all faction Turn Card button areas to more closely match the card areas.

Turn Card enhancements:
--Evern Victorious! When Klingon's click "Initiate a Space Battle" on their Turn Card, the game will ask them if they were Victorious and defeated 3 or more ships. If YES is clicked, +1 Culture is granted. The purpose of this is to remind the Klingons of their "Ever Victorious!" ability. It tends to often be forgotten in my games.
--Annexation: When the Cardassians click "Invade System" on their Turn Card, the game will ask them if the Invasion was successful. If YES is clicked, +1 Culture is granted from their Annexation ability. Remember that Total Annihilation is normally not considered a successful invasion. Click YES only if the Invasion outcome is Successful (control is gained). Clicking YES simply grants the Cardassians +1 Culture. The prompt is there to remind them of the Annexation ability.

Update: Jan 2, 2020 @ 4:47pm

Enhancements:
--Borg Dice will now report their rolls to chat after being rolled individually or as a group (like the players' dice do).
--Changed Cardassian player Area graphic.
--Player Dice Panels have a new "Auto" button to toggle ON/OFF automatic dice rolling when dice are spawned.

Update: Jan 2, 2020 @ 1:27pm

Bugfix:
--New Command Tokens gained should no longer fall into the player's area.

Updated Player area graphics.
